고유수용성신경근촉진법의 스케이터와 스프린터 통합패턴이 몸통근육의 근활성도와 근수축 개시에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Skater and Sprinter Combined Pattern in PNF on Muscle Contraction Onset Time and Muscle Activation of Trunk Muscle)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the sprinter and skater combined patterns on muscle contraction onset time and muscle activation of body stabilizing muscles. Method : Our study included young and healthy men in their 20s. The participants used the sprinter and skater combined patterns of the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) methods to measure muscle activation and muscle contraction onset time of the trunk muscles. To measure muscle contraction onset time and muscle activation, electrodes were attached to the rectus abdominis (RA), external oblique (EO), internal oblique (IO), and erector spinalis (ES) regions. Significant differences were identified using a paired t-test and a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) analysis. Result : In the sprinter combined pattern, the muscle with the fastest onset time of contraction was the RES, and that with the slowest was the RRA (p<.001). In the skater combined pattern, the muscle with the fastest onset time of contraction was the LES, and that with the slowest was the LRA (p<.001). In the sprinter combined pattern, the REO and LIO presented medium muscle contraction onset times (p<.001). In the skater combined pattern, the LEO and RIO presented medium muscle contraction onset times (p<.001). Conclusions: Based on these results, these patterns could be used as exercise methods for the elderly with delayed proactive response speeds of the body stabilization methods due to imbalances in body stabilizing muscles or limbs movement.

소방 공무원의 시간활동 양상과 직무에 따른 소음 노출 특성 (Noise Exposure according to the Time Activity Pattern and Duties of Firefighters)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the noise exposures of firefighters according to their time-dependent activity patterns. Methods: Personal exposure levels were measured for six days and nights using noise dosimeters; three days and nights for on-duty tasks, the other days and nights for off-duty activities. Results: The total amount of time spent in the workplace was 13,677 min (67%), outside areas 4,833 min (23%), in transit 1,002 min (5%), and other indoor area 807 min (4%) during a working period. However, during off-days they spent 10,858 min (76%) at home, 1,382 min (10%) outdoors, 1,225 min (9%) other indoors, and 493 min (3%) in transit. As a result of individual exposure levels, TWA did not exceed 90 dBA of the occupational exposure limit for the majority of the firefighters, whereas the levels of Lmax were 119 dBA, which were higher than the noise levels of firefighters in USA. Sometimes during dispatching the levels of Lpeak exceeded the ACGIH exposure standard (140 dBC). The Leq levels in transit were higher than the levels in home and other indoors even though the activity time is short. Conclusions: This paper characterized the noise exposure patterns of firefighters in Korea. We suggest that special noise sources, including sirens and speaker phones, should be readjusted to reduce noise exposure.

전과정평가에 있어 확률론적 건강영향분석기법 적용 -Part II : 화학제품의 환경부하 전과정평가에 있어 건강영향분석 모의사례연구 (Application of Probabilistic Health Risk Analysis in Life Cycle Assessment -Part I : Life Cycle Assessment for Environmental Load of Chemical Products using Probabilistic Health Risk Analysis : A Case Study)

  • Health risk assessment is applied to streamlining LCA(Life Cycle Assessment) using Monte carlo simulation for probabilistic/stochastic exposure and risk distribution analysis caused by data variability and uncertainty. A case study was carried out to find benefits of this application. BTC(Benzene, Trichloroethylene, Carbon tetrachloride mixture alias) personal exposure cases were assumed as production worker(in workplace), manager(in office) and business man(outdoor). These cases were different from occupational retention time and exposure concentration for BTC consumption pattern. The result of cancer risk in these 3 scenario cases were estimated as $1.72E-4{\pm}1.2E+0$(production worker; case A), $9.62E-5{\pm}1.44E-5$(manger; case B), $6.90E-5{\pm}1.16E+0$(business man; case C), respectively. Portions of over acceptable risk 1.00E-4(assumed standard) were 99.85%, 38.89% and 0.61%, respectively. Estimated BTC risk was log-normal pattern, but some of distributions did not have any formal patterns. Except first impact factor(BTC emission quantity), sensitivity analysis showed that main effective factor was retention time in their occupational exposure sites. This case study is a good example to cover that LCA with probabilistic risk analysis tool can supply various significant information such as statistical distribution including personal/environmental exposure level, daily time activity pattern and individual susceptibility. Further research is needed for investigating real data of these input variables and personal exposure concentration and application of this study methodology.

하지불안증후군 환자의 휴식.활동 리듬, 수면 양상 및 삶의 질에 대한 연구 (Rest-Activity Rhythm, Sleep Pattern and Quality of Life in Patients with Restless Legs Syndrome)

  • Purpose: In this study rest-activity rhythm, sleep pattern and quality of life of patients with restless legs syndrome were compared with those of a normal group. Methods: The participants in this study were 36 patients with restless legs syndrome diagnosed by a neurologist and 36 participants in the normal group. An actigraph, sleep diary, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Insomnia Severity Index scale were used as measurement tools for the study. Chi-square test, Lamda test, t-test and Kendall's correlation with SPSS 12.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: Patients with restless legs syndrome had a higher rest-activity rhythm curve of Least 5 hr's activity(L5) and Most 10 hr's activity(M10) than those of normal group and sleep problems included decreased sleep efficiency and increased sleep latency, wake time and number of awakenings. The scores for the subscales of quality of life in patients with restless legs syndrome were lower than the normal group for general health, physical functioning, role limitations due to emotional problems, role limitation due to physical problems, social functioning, bodily pain, vitality and mental health. Conclusion: The results suggest that further studies are needed to identify rest-activity rhythm according to symptom severity and to develop nursing interventions which consider rest-activity rhythm.

한국재래산양육(韓國在來山羊肉)의 근원섬유(筋原纖維) 단백질(蛋白質)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Studies on the Myofibrillar Proteins from Korean Native Goat)

  • Actomyosin and myofibril were extracted from Korean native Goat muscle with the Weber-Edsall solution. ATPase activities and physiochemical properties were measured. The results obtained were as follows; 1) Mg-activitied ATPase activity of actomyosin and myofibrill from Korean native Goat muscle exhibited a common biphasic response, a typical ATPase pattern, that is high at a low ionic strength and low at a high ionic strength. Actomyosin showed high activity than myofibrill. 2) Mg-activited ATPase activity of actomyosin from muscle increased extraction time 24 hours. 3) EDTA-enhanced ATPase activity of actomyosin was greater than myofibrill and low at the low ionic strength, high at the high ionic strength. The difference of the activity were shown great broad pattern at the after 0.3M KCI concentration. 4) Effect of EGTA on-ATPase activity of myofibrill and actomyosin from muscle was measured, the Mg-ATPase activity was markedly depressed. 5) Solubility of actomyosin from muscle began to solubilize at KCI concentration of 0.28M and solubilized completely at the KCI concentration of 0.3M.

  • 최근 다양한 질병 때문에 사람들은 집 안에서 많은 시간을 보내고 있다. 집 안에서 다치거나 질병에 감염되어 타인의 도움이 필요한 1인 가구의 경우 타인에게 도움을 요청하기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 1인 가구가 집 안에서 부상이나 질병 감염 등 타인의 도움이 필요로 하는 상황인 이상 징후를 탐지하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 홈 CCTV를 이용한 영상 패턴 탐지 알고리즘과 인공지능 스피커 등을 이용한 음성 패턴 탐지 알고리즘, 스마트폰의 가속도 센서를 이용한 활동 패턴 탐지 알고리즘, 공기청정기 등을 이용한 먼지 패턴 탐지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 하지만, 홈 CCTV의 보안 문제로 사용하기 어려울 경우 음성, 활동, 먼지 패턴 센서를 결합한 융합 방식을 제안한다. 각 알고리즘은 유튜브와 실험을 통해 데이터를 수집하여 정확도를 측정했다.

  • 본 연구는 정보시스템 기능 설계와 활동원가기준 예산, 그리고 IT 프로젝트 타당성을 확보하기 위해 개발된 활동패턴분석방법론을 소개하고, 2010년 종합건강검진센터에 적용한 사례를 통해 활동패턴분석의 유용성을 제시하였다. 활동패턴분석은 분석대상 범위 내 행위자들의 활동 분리, 활동 조정, 활동가치산출을 핵심 논리로 하며, 자원기반이론과 행위자 네트워크 이론을 중심 이론으로 한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 G검진센터는 활동패턴분석 진단을 통해 (1) IT 전략, (2) IT구축 목표, (3) 새로운 비즈니스 프로세스, (4) 정보시스템 설계도(기능 명세), (5) 정보시스템 구축 예산 및 타당성을 확보하였다. 활동패턴분석은 분석범위와 분석시기 결정이 유연하며, 분석대상을 분석목적에 적합하도록 확장할 수 있다는 점에서 유용하다. 궁극적으로는 정보시스템 도입 조직의 IS자원 관리능력의 내부화를 위한 방법론으로 활용될 수 있다.

Butane gas가 흰쥐 혈청과 조직의 Lactatedehydrogenase 및 Cholinesterase에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Butane gas on Rat Cholinesterase and Lactatedehydrogenase)

  • Acute poisoning with organic solvents and other volatile compounds now usually follows deliberate inhalation (volatile substance abuse) or ingestion of these compounds. The effect of butane gas inhalation was analyzed for serum, liver, brain, lung and muscle. And the observations are revealed on rat cholinesterase activity, lactatedehydrogenase activity and electrophoretic pattern of lactatedehydrogenase isozyme. The results are as follows: 1. The rat cholinesterase activity on serum, liver and muscle show the decreased by increasing of inhalation time of butane gas in particular the lung cholinesterase activity was greatly affected. 2. Butane gas inhalation brought out the lactatedehydrogenase activity increased of the serum and the tissues and had an important effect especially in both the liver and muscle 1actatedehydrogenase activities. 3. Each tissue was found to have a characteristic distribution of lactatedehy-drogenase isozymes on celluloseacetate electrophoresis and the development of inhalation time is shown the disappearance and diffusion of band. The toxicity of butane gas inhalation was most prominence in the liver and lung toxicity was occurred also.

개인의 복합적인 특성에 따른 활동유형 분석 (A Study on Activity Type Based on Multi-dimensional Characteristics)

  • 활동기반 모형은 개개인의 다양한 일상 활동을 교통계획의 의사결정단위로 파악하고, 인간의 활동으로 인해 파생된 통행을 분석한다. 즉, 동일한 활동패턴 집단의 유형의 사회경제적, 상황적 특성에 따라 어떤 활동을 수행할 것인지를 결정하고 활동수행주체의 활동시간, 공간의 이동, 교통수단을 선택하는 행위에 대한 예측을 수행한다. 통행은 개인과 다른 사람들이 참여하여 이루어지는 복합적인 의사결정 과정으로 간주되기 때문에 이를 통한 활동기반모형은 교통수요 예측에 있어 보다 효율적이면서 현실에 부합한 수요추정을 수행 할 수 있다. 이러한 과정에서 개인의 하루 활동유형을 선택하는 과정은 매우 중요하며, 이에 따라 활동기반 모형의 통행이 발생된다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 개인의 활동유형 선택에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하고, 개개인의 특성에 따라 활동유형 선택행태를 분석하였다. 먼저 통행사슬 유형과 활동목적을 검토하여 활동유형을 분류하고, 활동유형선택에 영향을 미치는 개개인의 사회경제적 특성변수를 도출하였다. 다음으로 활동유형별 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석 모형을 구축하여, 활동수행주체의 복합적 특성에 따라 선호되는 활동패턴에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 결론적으로 활동유형의 선택은 활동수행주체의 복합적인 특성에 의존하며, 장래 활동기반 교통수요 예측에 있어 개인의 복합적인 특성이 활동기반 모형의 활동스케줄 결정 과정에서 고려되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.
