Supervisor for Real-Time Nondeterministic Discrete Event Systems Under Bounded Time Constraints

  • This paper addresses a supervisory control problem to meet bounded time constraints in real-time nondeterministic discrete event systems (DESs) represented as timed transition models. For a timed language specification representing a bounded time constraint, this paper introduces the notions of trace-controllability and time-controllability. Based on the notions, this paper presents the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a supervisor for a real-time nondeterministic DES to achieve the specification.

Overshoot에 구속조건을 갖는 원자여의 시간최적제어 (Time Optimal Control of Nuclear Reactor with Constraint on Power Overshoot)

  • 원자로의 출력을 초기상태에서 요구표적 상태로 증가시켜 주는 과도기간중 출력의 Overshoot가 생기는데 이 Overshoot에 구속조건을 두는 것은 원자로를 제각함에 있어 안전사 매우 중요하다. 따라서 출력이 요구 최대허용 구동영역을 넘지 않도록 반응도를 조절하면서 초기값(no, co)에서 최종같인 요구값(2no,2co) 또는 (1. 5no,1.5co)로 출력을 증가시키는데 최대원리(Maximum principle)를 적용하였다. 그리고 이때의 스위청점, 스위청시간 및 최적제각 반응도를 구하였다. The power overshoot is rises in the output during the transient period when the output of nuclear reactor is increased from the initial state to the desired target state and certain amount of constraint on power level is of primary importance for safety control of nuclear reactor. Therefore, the maximum principle is applied to this process control in transfering its power from the initial state(no, co) to the final target state(2no, 2co or 1.5no, 1.5co), adjusting the reactivity so that its overshoot is limited within the allowable constraint required. In this case, the switching points, switching times, optimal lima and optimal control reactivity are calculated.

상수관로의 노후도 예측에 근거한 최적 개량 모형의 개발 (II) - 적용 및 분석 - (Development of Optimal Rehabilitation Model for Water Distribution System Based on Prediction of Pipe Deterioration (II) - Application and Analysis -)

  • 본 연구(II)는 연구(I)에서 제안한 상수관로의 노후도 예측에 근거한 최적 개량 모형을 A시를 대상으로 이를 적용하였다. 노후도 예측 모형은 굴착 및 실험이 필요한 14개 항목과 굴착 및 실험이 필요하지 않은 9개 항목을 구분하여 각각 관의 노후도 등급을 산정하였다. 노후도 예측 모형 적용 결과 항목개수에 따른 등급의 차는 l~2% 이내로 굴착 및 실험을 하지 않고도 노후도 예측이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 최적 개량 모형은 노후도 항목별 최대 잔존수명과 제약조건 유무로 구분하여 적용하였다. 적용결과 항목별 최대 잔존수명의 증가에 따라 개량 시기 및 비용이 증가하였다. 또한 예산제약을 제외한 모형과 비교해서 예산제약을 고려한 모형이 모든 항목에서 비용이 증가되었다. 이는 예산제약을 고려할 경우 실제 주어진 최대 잔존수명 기간이내 매년 발생하는 예산의 최대 금액을 넘지 않은 대신에 매년 비슷한 비용으로 개량을 실시하기 때문인 것으로 판단되었다.

화재대응 취약지역에서의 소방특수차량 이동제약요인 분석 : 서울시의 진입곤란지역을 대상으로 (Analysis of Mobility Constraint Factors of Fire Engines in Vulnerable Areas : A Case Study of Difficult-to-access Areas in Seoul)

  • Ensuring swift on-site access to fire engines is crucial in preserving the golden time and minimizing damage. However, various mobility constraints in alleyways hinder the timely entry of fire engines to the fire scene, significantly impairing their initial response capabilities. Therefore, this study analyzed the significant mobility constraints of fire engines, focusing on Seoul, which has many old town areas. By leveraging survey responses from firefighting experts and actual observations, this study quantitatively assessed the frequency and severity of mobility constraint factors affecting the disaster responses of fire engines. Survey results revealed a consistent set of top five factors regarding the frequency and disturbance level, including illegally parked cars, narrow paths, motorcycles, poles, and awnings/banners. A comparison with actual road-view images showed notable consistency between the survey and observational results regarding the appearance frequency of mobility constraint factors in vulnerable areas in Seoul. Furthermore, the study emphasized the importance of tailored management strategies for each mobility constraint factor, considering its characteristics, such as dynamic or static. The findings of this study can serve as foundational data for creating more detailed fire safety maps and advancing technologies that monitor the mobility of fire engines through efficient vision-based inference using CCTVs in the future.

  • IS-95와 IMT-2000 시스템에서 사용되고 있는 여러 종류의 길쌈 부호기를 부호율 1/2, 구속장 3인 길쌈 부호기로 한정하여, 비터비 복호기에 복호길이 6인 Sliding-Window와 Neural Network의 LVQ(Learning Vector Quantization)및 PVSL(Prototype Vectors Selecting Logic)을 적용하여 순방향 실시간 복호기를 구현한다. 이론적으로 제한된 AWGN 채널환경에서의 심볼 전송전력 $S/(N_{0}/2)=1$을 성능비교 조건으로 하여 순방향 실시간 복호기와 기존의 비터비 복호기의 $강\cdot연판정$ BER 성능과 하드웨어 구성을 $비교\cdot분석$하여, 본 논문에서 제시된 순방향 실시간 복호기의 BER 성능의 우수성과 비화통신의 장점 및 하드웨어 구성의 단순합을 검증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 두가지 관점에서 공구경로 최적화를 위한 기존 방 법의 문제점을 검토하고 이의 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 기존의 공구경로 산출 방법에서는 고려되지 않는 공구대의 공구 장착 현황(turret configuration)이 최적화 과정에서 고려되어야 한다. 둘째로, 제작과 관련한 구속조건(manufacturing con- straints)이 최적화 과정에 직접 반영되어야 한다.

프리아크 개념을 이용한 로봇의 충돌회피 동작 계획 (Collision-Free Motion Planning of a Robot Using Free Arc concept)

  • This paper presents an effective approach to collision-free motion planning of a robot in the work-space including time-varying obstacles. The free arc is defined as a set composed of the configuration points of the robot satisfying collision-free motion constraint at each sampling time. We represent this free arc with respect to the new coordinate frame centered at the goal configuration and there for the collision-free path satisfying motion constraint is obtained by connecting the configuration points of the free arc at each sampling mined from the sequence of free arcs the optimality is determined by the performance index. Therefore the complicated collision-free motion planning problem of a robot is transformed to a simplified SUB_Optimal Collision Avoidance Problem(SOCAP). We analyze the completeness of the proposed approach and show that it is partly guaranteed using the backward motion. Computational complexity of our approach is analyzed theoretically and practical computation time is compared with that of the other method. Simulation results for two cally and practical computation time is compared with that of the other method. Simulation results for two SCARA robot manipulators are presented to verify the efficacy of the proposed method.

의류 제품특성, 상황특성이 소비자의 인티넷 탐색 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Product and Situation on Internet Browsing Behavior for Fashion Products)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of product variables(i.e., fashionability, brand fame) and situational variables(i.e., time constraint, usage occasion) on the internet browsing behavior (i.e., prepurchase search; ongoing search for products, stores, fashion trends, promotions, and post-purchasing information) for fashion products. This study developed hypothetical scenarios based on the factorial design of the two independent variables for the survey with a questionnaire. All items in the questionnaire were measured on a six-point scale. By convenience sampling and on-line survey, a total of 209 usable responses were used for further analyses. The results show as follows; firstly, respondents more intensively browse for information search on products, stores and fashion trends when the style of browsing products is trendy. Secondly, whether the fashion products have a famous brand name or not has a significant influence on browsing behavior for stores and fashion trends information search. Thirdly, time constraint is found to influence significantly on respondents' browsing for promotions information search. Lastly, occasion for product worn shows a significant influence on browsing behavior for stores and fashion trends information search. The managerial implications are provided based on findings.

  • In this paper, we present a robust controller design method that can not only deal with the constant time delay plant but also an uncertain time delay one. For a constant time delay plant. The proposed DTC can independently adjust the set response and the disturbance response without any stability constraint. And in the uncertain time delay case, one can process the control design step with uncertainty norm bound. To verify real effectiveness, theoretical analysis and simulation results are given.
