산림관리도로의 생력화를 위한 친환경적 횡단목 배수로의 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of an Environment Friendly Crossing Wood Drain for Easy Forest Road Management)

  • We introduce a simplified crossing wood drain disperses rain water concentration and is used to protect the road surface from erosion due to flooding over the unpaved road. The efficiency of a simplified crossing wood drain was also investigated. A structure of simplified crossing wood drain can be produced within 10 minutes and installed within 18 minutes. The cost of the this product is 1/5 of that of the existing crossing drain product. The production and installation cost can be reduced according to dexterity. In the context of such applications, the degrees of damage for a rubber pad, which preventing the rain overflow, were varied according to their materials. A type of 8.2mm thick fabric rubber was the most suitable in this study.

섬유제품 생산자의 환경의식과 환경보전행동 (Environmental Consciousness and Environmental Preservation Behavior of Textile Producers)

  • The purposes of this study were to review the effects of textiles production on the environment, and to investigate the environmental consciousness and environmental preservation behavior of textile producers. This study was conducted by reference analysis and empirical research. To develope theoretical framework of dimensions of environmental behavior, references concerned were analyzed. And for empirical study, researcher developed a questionnaire based on the free writing by producers and references. The questionnaire included problems about environmental consciousness, environmental behavior, demographic variables, and environmental variables. 135 questionnaires were used for final data analysis. ANOVA and factor analysis were used. The results were as follows: First, the level of global environmental problem consciousness was relatively high. The conscious level of water pollution caused by the waste water from textile mills was the highest, and that of desertation of mountain caused by timber cutting was the lowest. The effects of textile dyers and finishers on the environment were the highest, and that of designers were the lowest. Second, the results of reference analysis showed that the dimensions of textile producers environmental behavior were resource and energy saving, solid waste reduction, and green product production. And the results of empirical study were resource and energy saving, resource reuse or recycling, solid waste reduction, and green product production, and total variances was 62.3%. The practice was the lowest. Third, global environment problem consciousness, environment problem consciousness caused by the textile life-cycle concerned, and clothing seperate-collection or not at residing place were effective on environmental behavior, and 52.45% of environmental behavior was explained with above variables.

  • 목재자원을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 목적으로 개발된 공학목재는 기존에 구조용으로 사용되어 오던 목재제품에 비해 강도가 높으면서도 안정적인 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 설계 상세에 따라 부재를 주문 제작이 가능하며, 대규모 건축물에도 주요 구조체로 사용되어져 오고 있다. 장 스팬이 요구되는 재료로 구조용 집성재나 목재 I형장선, 단판적층재(LVL) 등을 활용하여 사용되고 있다. 본 프로젝트는 공학목재 중에서 집성재 및 막재를 이용한 구조 시스템으로, 강원도 뿌리기념관 공원공사 중 "야외무대 지붕공사"로 구조 재료, 구조설계 및 시공에 관한 내용으로 구성되어 있다. 지붕 구조재는 PVF/PFLT(테드라 필름코팅) 소재의 막이 사용되었다. 기둥 및 경사 부재는 강재(SS400)를 사용하였고, 캔틸레버 보 부재는 비대칭 구성 집성재(10S-28B)를 이용하였다.

도시림의 보호 및 증진관리를 위한 계획제도에 관한 연구 - 대전광역시를 사례로 - (Planning System on Conservation and Improvement of Urban Forest - A Case Study in Daejon City, Korea -)

  • Urban forest area in South Korea has been increased up to 20.8% of national land as of 2007 by the mergence of municipalities and counties. The rate of park and green tract among urban forest averages out to about 4% nationally but the Capital, Seoul, almost 105% level, not easy to split the two. Park and green has positive management system because of its infrastructure attribute and relevant security obligation standard while urban forest left alone with no such concerns. The most important reason of the negligence comes from institutional inertia although it is possible to be managed functionally by forest laws as like forests of park, landscape, wind and noise protection, and timber product. As a results, it reaches below than 92.64% of the national average level of the timber stockpile especially in the metropolitan areas and loses broad acres rapidly due to the easy conversion system to the urban land usage. Therefore, there must be required some alternative methodologies to conserve and foster it. The paper proposes the four urban forest management types and their control methods. The four types divide into conservation, foster, development, and reservation ones. Also it suggests the five furtherance tract types with the combination among the four earlier types, optionally having one of the six aim climaxes and recommends the standardization of operation design. The total green quantity index of urban forest also suggested by the weight method according to location and DBH class. The case study of the suggested model was executed on the Daejon Metropolitan area and its index calculated as 110.4% level compared with the acreage.

고종대 경복궁 중건 시 영건일기에 나타난 목재 조달 고찰 (A Study on the Wooden Procurement in the Diary of Yeonggun during the Construction of Gyeongbokgung Palace in King Gojong's reign)

  • This study focuses on the construction of Gyeongbokgung Palace in the second year of King Gojong's reign, which has been spotlighted for political and economic history. The author analyzed the contents of wood procurement with the Yeonggeon Diary, which records each day of construction site. The results are as follows: First, the 2nd year of King Gojong's reign, Yeonggeon of Gyeongbokgung Palace, was a new building that reflected the old system and 270 years of changed environment on the existing site. Despite the poor economic conditions, it began with years of effort and voluntary volunteer work and dedication. Second, the priority of timber transport was recruiting people in the whole process and the supply and demand of transportation tools. Carrying lumber from the mountains to the riverside and floating it at the right time were all a matter of manpower. Soldiers and carts were used to carry timber that arrived in Hangang River to the construction site. The cart was a consumable product, so it was necessary to continuously use the wood to make cart at the site. Third, fire and flood were the biggest obstacles to the Yeonggeon schedule of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Especially the fire was fatal. It was difficult to extinguish the fire in temporary structure, where was the storage for wood to construct. These disasters greatly affected the construction cost and construction period. Wood procurements of Gyeongbokgung Palace were based on public offerings. At the same time, recycled materials from other palace wood and nearby houses, nationwide buying of private mountain wood, the logging of royal tombs and some of the buildings of Gyeonghui Palace and Changgyeong Palace were relocated.

리기다소나무 원목형질 조사 및 구조용집성재 제조 수율 평가 (Visual Log Grading and Evaluation of Lamina Yield for Manufacturing Structural Glued Laminated Timber of Pitch Pine)

  • 우리나라 전역에 사방 및 연료림으로 대량 식재되어 소기의 목적을 달성함과 동시에 치산녹화 성공을 이루는데 크게 기여한 수종인 리기다소나무 제재목의 구조용집성재 라미나로서의 이용가능성을 고찰하였다. 건전한 임분 내에서 평균 흉고직경 32 cm인 리기다소나무를 벌채하여 말구직경 15 cm 이상으로 조재하였을 경우 80% 이상이 2등급 또는 3등급의 원목형질로 구분되어 리기다소나무의 제재목으로서의 이용가능성이 높다고 판단되었다. 구조용집성재 라미나용 주제품의 제재수율은 39.9%, 벽판재 수율은 7.2%, 부제품 수율은 8.1%로 총 원목의 55.2%가 판재로 제재되었다. 옹이를 제거하여 핑거가공한 후 제조한 구조용집성재의 제조수율은 15.3%로 평가되어 옹이를 제거하지 않은 판재의 라미나로의 이용을 위한 옹이재의 휨강도와 압축강도 등의 강도적 성능 평가와 더불어 최적의 라미나 배열을 통한 구조용집성재의 강도 감소 최소화를 위한 연구가 앞으로 필요하다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서 조사된 제재수율과 기타 가공수율 평가는 현재까지 목재산업현장에서 제재목으로의 이용이 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 리기다소나무의 효율적인 생산계획을 수립하는데 사용되어질 수 있으리라 기대된다.

  • 최근 단기소득임산물 생산량 증가에 따라 정부나 관련 기관에서 단기소득임산물에 대한 소비를 촉진하기 위한 다양한 노력을 하고 있다. 소비 촉진 노력의 일환으로 단기소득임산물에 대한 소비자 의향 연구가 진행되고 있지만 대부분의 연구는 설문조사에만 의존하는 상황이다. 정보화 시대에서 소비재에 대한 소비자 의향은 인터넷 확산에 따라 SNS에 크게 반영되고 있다. 기존 연구에서 설문에만 의존하는 것을 탈피하여 소비자의 의향이 직접 반영되어 있는 SNS를 직접 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 소셜 빅테이터 분석을 통해 주요 단기소득임산물에 대한 소비자 의향을 파악하였으며, 이 결과를 이용해 해당 단기소득임산물의 판매 촉진 전략을 수립하였다. 본 논문은 설문조사만을 이용한 기존의 단기임산물 관련 연구들과는 다르게 적은 비용으로 많은 표본들의 즉각적인 반응을 파악할 수 있는 SNS 빅데이터를 활용하여 소비자 의향을 파악하였다는 것에 차별성이 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 정부나 관련 기관의 단기소득임산물의 소비 촉진 정책에 직접적으로 도움이 되고 궁극적으로는 임가 소득 향상과 건강한 산림관리에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

Feasibility Study of Forestry Project in Sarawak State, Malaysia

  • This research paper investigates available options for implementing clean development mechanism (CDM) project in Sarawak state, Malaysia. To investigate economic feasibility, data was collected using survey and field research methods. Also, economic analysis was estimated using net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and payback period (PBP) during the 30 years CDM: afforestation and reforestation periods. The result of economic analysis indicated that, the payback period was estimated at 9 years with 18 percent of internal rate of return (IRR). This study also highlighted that CDM biomass supply project have a lot of challenges due to the reduction and exclusion of bio-Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF), supply and demand scenario, and impact of restriction of illegal logging in Malaysia. This study results demonstrate the methodology and guideline for future CDM investment and projects.

Investigation of Color Difference in ACQ and CBHDO Treated Wood During Two-year Outdoor Exposure

  • In general, when wood products are used outdoors for a certain period of time the surface color of wood changes due to light, water, heat and so on. This color change can be considered importantly for the product's market value. In this study, the color change of ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) and CBHDO (CuO $H_3BO_3$ N-cyclohexyldiazenium-anion) treated wood and untreated wood was investigated during 2-year weathering test. From this experimental study, it was found that the colors of the treated wood changed more reddish and yellowish from green. Meanwhile, the untreated wood turned to grey color rapidly. Also, the color of the treated wood in short-term exposure changed closer to the inherent color of the fresh natural wood than that of the untreated woods.

단기소득 임산물의 주산지 집적도에 관한 연구 (Spatial Aggregation on the Main Producing Area of Nontimber Forest Products)

  • 본 연구는 단기소득 임산물 주산지의 공간적 특성을 밝히기 위해 마련되었다. 산림청의 임산물생산조사 결과 중 시군구의 품목별 생산량을 기준으로 Moran's I 방법을 활용하여 주산지의 공간적 집적도와 그 변화를 규명하였다. 연구 결과, 단기소득 임산물의 45%의 주산지가 공간적으로 유의미하게 군집화되어 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 5대 주요 단기소득 임산물의 경우, 지난 10년간 주산지가 확대되었으며, 군집화 정도도 강화된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 특정 임산물 산지종합유통센터 위치와 규모 확정 등 임산물 지원 정책에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
