  • In this paper, we study the geometry of half lightlike submanifolds M of a semi-Riemannian manifold $\tilde{M}$ with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection subject to the conditions; (1) the characteristic vector field of $\tilde{M}$ is tangent to M, the screen distribution on M is totally umbilical in M and the co-screen distribution on M is conformal Killing, or (2) the screen distribution is integrable and the local lightlike second fundamental form of M is parallel.

  • Since time-dependent inactivation of MAO was found to be complete in a few minutes when high concentration ratios of tranylcypromine to MAO were used, a method to obtain kinetic parameters was sought suitable to the conditions in which concentrations of tranylcypromine analogs did not exceed that of MAO. For the purpose, kinetic equations were derived and the method applied to the kinetic studies of tranylcypromine enantiomers. It was found that (E)-(+)-2-phenylcyclopropylamine inhibited MAO by the mechanism following bimolecular reaction scheme with $\tilde{K}_i$ of $2.0\;{\times}\;10^6M^{-1}min^{-1}$. Whereas, MAO-inhibitory pattern of the (-)-enantiomer was to be interpreted by suicide inhibition scheme and measured $k_{in}\;and\;\tilde{K}'$ were $0.457\;min^{-1}\;and\;$5.4{\mu}M$, respectively.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a new type of $q$-Euler numbers and polynomials with weak weight (${\alpha}$,${\omega}$): $\tilde{E}^{({\alpha},{\omega})}_{n,q}$ and $\tilde{E}^{({\alpha},{\omega})}_{n,q}(x)$, respectively. By using the fermionic $p$-adic $q$-integral on $\mathbb{Z}_p$, we can obtain some results and derive some recurrence identities for the $q$-Euler numbers and polynomials with weak weight (${\alpha}$,${\omega}$).

  • As is evident from its definition, Southern Oscillation Index variability conformed to a combination of the variations of Darwin and Tahiti pressure. Over the El-$Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ Southern Oscillation spectra, the Darwin pressure shared variations associated with the SSN tendency while the Tahiti had a connection with the stratospheric quasi-biennial oscillation modulating annual cycle. The power peak near the 3.5-year period comprised the third harmonic of the sun and the second of the modulated annual cycle. The derived harmonics came from both sources, so the initiation of El-$Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ could be predicted more successfully when including the effects of the sun and QBO.

  • In this study, strength reduction factors and inelastic displacement ratios are investigated for SDOF systems with period range of 0.1-3.0 s considering soil structure interaction for earthquake motions recorded on soft soil. The effect of stiffness degradation on strength reduction factors and inelastic displacement ratios is investigated. The modified-Clough model is used to represent structures that exhibit significant stiffness degradation when subjected to reverse cyclic loading and the elastoplastic model is used to represent non-degrading structures. The effect of negative strain - hardening on the inelastic displacement and strength of structures is also investigated. Soil structure interacting systems are modeled and analyzed with effective period, effective damping and effective ductility values differing from fixed-base case. For inelastic time history analyses, Newmark method for step by step time integration was adapted in an in-house computer program. New equations are proposed for strength reduction factor and inelastic displacement ratio of interacting system as a function of structural period($\tilde{T}$, T) ductility (${\mu}$) and period lengthening ratio ($\tilde{T}$/T).

  • We show how the dynamic optimization problem with the capital constraint can be reduced to the problem to find an optimal modified claim $\tilde{\psi}H$ where $\tilde{\psi}$ is a randomized test in the static problem. Coherent risk measure is used as risk measure in the $L^{\infty}$ random variable spaces. The paper is written in expository style to some degree. We use an average risk of measure(AVaR), which is a special coherent risk measure, to see how to hedge the modified claim in a complete market model.

  • In the present paper, we analyse analytic continuation of weighted $q$-Genocchi numbers and polynomials. A novel formula for weighted $q$-Genocchi-zeta function $\tilde{\zeta}_{G,q}(s{\mid}{\alpha})$ in terms of nested series of $\tilde{\zeta}_{G,q}(n{\mid}{\alpha})$ is derived. Moreover, we introduce a novel concept of dynamics of the zeros of analytically continued weighted $q$-Genocchi polynomials.

  • Persistent cloaca in a female newborn is one of the most complex and challenging anorectal malformation. The incidence is about 10% of all anorectal anomalies. Treatment of cloacal malformations has evolved during the past 40 years. However, it still remains one of the most difficult operations. In 1997, Pena reported a new procedure called "Total urogenital mobilization". We have repaired 3 cases of cloacal anomaly using "Total urogenital mobilization". The operations were performed between age 15 and 28 months. The length of the common channels was 2.5 - 3.0 cm. Two cases had double vaginas and one of them also had double uterus. The operation time was 4-5 hours and no major complications occurred. Functional and cosmetic results were satisfactory.

  • In this paper, firstly we discuss some basic axioms of trans Sasakian manifolds. Later, the trans-Sasakian manifold with quarter symmetric non-metric connection are studied and its curvature tensor and Ricci tensor are calculated. Also, we study the η-Ricci solitons on a Trans-Sasakian Manifolds with quartersymmetric non-metric connection. Indeed, we investigated that the Ricci and η-Ricci solitons with quarter-symmetric non-metric connection satisfying the conditions ${\tilde{R}}.{\tilde{S}}$ = 0. In a particular case, when the potential vector field ξ of the η-Ricci soliton is of gradient type ξ = grad(ψ), we derive, from the η-Ricci soliton equation, a Laplacian equation satisfied by ψ. Finally, we furnish an example for trans-Sasakian manifolds with quarter-symmetric non-metric connection admitting the η-Ricci solitons.

In this paper, we prove that D is a $G-{\tilde{\star}}-GCD$ domain if and only if D[X] is a $G-{\star}_1-GCD$ domain if and only if the Nagata ring of D with respect to the semistar operation ${\tilde{\star}}$, $Na(D,{\star}_f)$ is a G-GCD domain if and only if $Na(D,{\star}_f)$ is a GCD domain, where ${\star}_1$ is the semistar operation on D[X] introduced by G. Picozza [12].
