A Study on Optimal Fitting for Tightness Characteristics of Composite Bushing (Composite 부싱의 기밀 특성을 위한 최적의 압착에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, composite hollow bushings have been increasingly employed mainly from the various characteristics. Composite bushings are superior to porcelain bushings in several respects, including lighter weight, better anti-pollution and anti-explosion properties, and easer manufacturing. This paper deals with the optimal thermal fitting for improved tightness characteristics of composite bushing. Two types of composite bushings were fabricated. For optimal fitting process, it is necessary using adhesive and designed internal structure of flange and FRP tube. In this study, for improved tightness characteristics of composite bushing has prominence and interface tolerance of flange and FRP tube. From FE-SEM analysis the adhesive layers were different with interface tolerance, sample 1 and 2 which have respective about $120{\mu}m$ and $50{\mu}m$.

  • An electric precipitator in a thermal electric power plant is essential equipment for preventing air environment pollution. However, it is difficult for the existing control systems to make efficient effects on dust collection. This is because AVC and ERC consist of independent, separate systems in the existing systems. To solve this problem, we developed an intelligent distributed control system, which makes optimal control possible through connection operations between the control systems. In this paper, we analyzed system performance and fly ash reduction effects through the developed system structure, development contents and its actual application to power plant.

Collecting method of silk sericin from degumming solution and characteristics of recovered sericin (정련폐액에서 실크 세리신의 회수방법 및 회수세리신의 특성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the optimum condition for silk sericin collection from degumming solution using some aluminium salts with various treatment conditions and examine the thermal properties of silk sericin collected from degumming solution. Silk sericin was precipitated by treatment of aluminium metal compound from degumming solution. The best optimum collecting conditions of silk sericin from degumming solution are the concentration of 2 $m\ell$/l of polyaluminium chloride (PAC), pH range of 5~7 and room temperature. The reduction of water pollution was evaluated by decreasing the chemical oxygen demand (COD) and nitrate ion (NO$_3$ ̄). Thermal stability of silk sericin collected from degumming solution was a little lower than that of hot water.

  • For many years, T/G Supplier has constructed a number of thermal power plants and researched to improve the performance and the reliability of steam turbine, which are achieved by advances in design and materials technology. In recent, interest is renewed in advance steam condition as means of improving economy of thermal power plant and reducing environmental pollution. Improvements in the maximum power have been driven by the development of advanced rotor and bucket material and longer last stage bucket. Improvements in efficiency have been brought through advance in mechanical efficiency and thermodynamic efficiency. This paper describes a number of new steam path design features introduced to the steam turbine product. And also this paper describes new design technologies' development, new technologies' trend and technologies' development for ultra-super critical steam turbine.

  • Because the Pb-based piezoelectric materials showed problems such as an environmental pollution. lead-free $O_3$ materials were studied in the present study. The $O_3$ thin films were deposited at $640^{\circ}C$ on $Pt/Ti/SiO_2$ substrate by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and were annealed for 5 min at $750^{\circ}C$ using rapid thermal annealing (RTA) in nitrogen atmosphere. Samples annealed at $750^{\circ}C$ showed a smooth morphology and an improvement of the dielectric and leakage properties, as compared with as-grown samples. However, electrical properties of the $O_3$ thin films obtained in the present study should be improved for piezoelectric applications.

  • In Korea accelerated industry development and urbanization during the last three decades have led serious water pollution problems in many parts of the nation. Especially in the regions of west and south coast have low fresh water in the dry season of spring and summer. In the place isolated from land it is important to secure the fresh water for drinking and general service. This study is concerned on the thermal system design to develop low-pressure evaporation type fresh water gen-erator of capacity 1 ton/day using the heat source of non-operating boiler in the season of spring and summer. The results obtained from this study are as follows. the water quantitieds generated from experi-mental evaporator showed good coincidence with the calculated values. The maximum production quantity was 1.38ton/day at pressure 40mmHg abs. and temperature $80^{\circ}C$.

  • 최근 실내공기 질(IAQ : Indoor Air Quality)에 관한 인식이 높아지고 있으며 환경개선에 상응하는 기술 개발의 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있다. 실제 산업체에서는 여러 가스정화기술들이 오염물질제거에 이용되어 왔고, 그 한 분야인 N.T.P(Non-thermal plasma Process) 공정도 다양한 각도에서 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 그러나, 이 기술의 실용화를 위한 설계변수 개념의 연구는 부족한 실정으로, 이에 본 연구는N.T.P 공정에 의한 가스정화의 반 경험식 도출과 이를 이용한 성능 평가 고찰이 주목적이다. 또한, 반응기 통과 후 나오는 부산물을 동정하여, 차후 후단에 사용할 촉매를 결정 하고자 한다. Change of Thermal Environment with Urban Expansion (도시 확장에 따른 온열환경의 변화)

  • The surface changes due to urban expansion and the increase of artificial heat releases have brought significant climate changes such as heat island phenomenon in urban area. Furthermore, these changes also have brought serious problems such as air temperature increase, wind changes, and air pollution in urban area. Comprehensive analytical technologies considering various effects are required to analyse complicated mechanism of climate changes, and review the efficient measures. In this research, the effect of the urban expansion in Tokyo and Bangkok area on urban environment will be discussed. By using CFD, urban development and the mechanism of global warming and wind change are studied in those two cities. As a result of numerical research, the surface changes of city could bring the environmental changes in urban area.
