The market of performance arts industry such as concert, musical and opera etc is now expanding in Korea. However, the inadequate safety management in theatres often causes some accidents. The guarantee of safety in theatres is very important since the accidents in theaters can lead to many casualties and serious property damages. In particular, the small theatres which have no obligation of safety inspection by law are very vulnerable to safety mattes. This study has done the research into the improvement of safety in small theaters through the inspection and analysis of their safety status. For the purpose, this study has inspected and analyzed the safety status of small theaters over 120 in the field of theater management and operation, fire protection, electrical facilities, ceiling structure and etc. Moreover, this study had investigated the law and technical standards related to theatre safety. This study shows that the essentials to make sure of the safety in small theaters are (1) the education to improve the sense of security of people who work in theaters (2) the training to strengthen the operating skills of the facilities in theaters (3) the cooperation and support of the related organization such as technical research center, central and local government.
It is a fact that domestic performance art has been sharply progressed but it is focused on only performance quality technique, not on safety of performers and the audience. It is a pity that people's effort to keep safe stage environment have not traced to innovative change, eventually leading to be forced to perform under hazardous condition. This study is to find out and identify that domestic regulation and accident cases are investigated and compared with cases of advanced countries, to verify that performer and the audience are main elements to develop performance art. And it is to show more effective safety measure after pointing out hazardous elements. Research change is limited to review only performance ones of all cultural facilities and to review accident cases from these places to show reasonable safety measures for stage facilities. Operation manager covers almost all of areas such as devices, management, despite a fact that they take charge of stage facilities, illumination, sounds, already. Some conclusions are as follows; 1) performance theatre-related regulations should be established again. domestic safety standards for performance theatre safety should be established. 2) characteristic and purpose of performance place should be clarified at the stage planning and design of them 3) operation expert performance place is required to be trained to cover emergency situation at any time.
Recently there has been many researches of performing arts, the concepts of performance products or mechanism have been gradually established. However, compared to the research of public performance itself, the research of its consumer still stays on the basic stage and it is difficult to apply to the business. Therefore the needs of the related research has continued being insisted among the staffs. This study raises points that the recent performance business still focuses on providers. Moreover it notices the urgent needs of the consumer orientation strategies and the changes of marketing in the performance business. Therefore it needs to understand the performance consumers and to research how they can be satisfied with the performance according to their types. This dissertation, thus, is to find out the evaluation method of theatre service qualities and the relations between the theatre service qualities by size and customer satisfactions to suit for the customer oriented marketing paradigm, and to present a suggestion that requires for establishment of service marketing strategies for theatre, the place for performing arts.

The purpose of this study is to suggest that performers in the performing arts actively utilize the loading dock and stage door when evacuating from the stage space of a performance hall in a crisis situation. Therefore, first, we analyzed the system related to the performance hall's safety. The stage evacuation type was classified into A, B, C, and D forms by applying the building law audience evacuation standards. Second, statistical data were organized based on measurement data, and the characteristics of each form were summarized. Third, the network reliability measurement method was borrowed to evaluate the evacuation safety of the evacuation route in the stage space. We confirmed quantitatively that the direction of the loading dock direction and stage door direction on the stage is advantageous for evacuation. In this study, it was possible to distinguish the advantage of evacuation according to the type of evacuation, (A(0.1274)>B(0.1228).>.C(0.0487)) with A being the most advantageous. These results can be expected to improve the evacuation safety of the stage, and furthermore, they are expected to be used as basic data for stage evacuation.

The purpose of this study is to explore the narrative of VR disaster and safety Education introduced by disaster film narrative. VR(Virtual Reality) is be suitable technology for disaster and safety Education due to media characteristics as 'immersion', 'presence', 'interactivity', 'pleasure'. Disaster film narrative is able to be worth VR disaster and safety education as a variety of stories and educational effect. For this study, examine a theoretical study and a visiting research of 'Busan 119 Safety & Experience Center'. This study concludes that Firstly need to introduce catharsis effect, Secondly, build 'interactive narratives' that ensure active participation of users, Thirdly, introduce an 'adventure game' narrative element, Fourthly, introduce a hero-shaped narrative in which the user becomes a one-man hero, And lastly, need education as use user's multiple access and group experience learning. Background: Nitrous oxide has been an integral part of surgical anesthesia for many years in the developed world and is still used in developing countries such as India. The other main concerns in low-resource countries are the lack of an advanced anesthesia gas-scavenging system and modular surgical theatres. As a greenhouse gas that has been present in the atmosphere for more than 100 years and damages the ozone layer, nitrous oxide is three times worse than sevoflurane. Here, we conducted an observational study to quantify the annual nitrous oxide consumption and its environmental impact in terms of carbon dioxide equivalence in one of busiest tertiary health care and research centers in Northern India. Methods: Data related to nitrous oxide expenditure' from the operation theatre and manifold complex of our tertiary care hospital and research center from 2018 to 2021 were collected monthly and analyzed. The outcomes were extracted from our observational study, which was approved by our institutional ethics board (INT/IEC/2017/1372 Dated 25.11.2017) and registered prospectively under the Central Registry (CTRI/2018/07/014745 Dated 05.07.2018). Results: The annual nitrous oxide consumption in our tertiary care hospital was 22,081.00, 22,904.00, 17,456.00, and 18,392.00 m3 (cubic meters) in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, respectively. This indicates that the environmental impact of nitrous oxide (in terms of CO2 equivalents) from our hospital in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 was 13,016.64, 13,287.82, 10,289.94, and 10,841.24 tons, respectively. Conclusion: This huge amount of nitrous oxide splurge is no longer a matter of laughter, and serious efforts should be made at every central and peripheral health center level to reduce it.
