Residents began to recognize the need for projects such as Maeul-mandeulgi to overcome the community crisis, Attempts to change the perception of the existing village rituals resulted in spatial practice. The new cultural contents were created by adding a playful element to the existing Cheonwangje, and thereby strengthening the identity of the village. This resulted in the reproduction of the village as a new cultural space, but it showed the reproduction of the space in which the alienation occurred due to excessive physical expansion. However, through this process, villagers increased their sense of belonging and increased their satisfaction, which showed the process of being produced as a space of representation that strengthens the sense of community.

  • In the wake of COVID-19, more consumers prefer non-face-to-face services and the explosion in the use of delivery apps is shaping a new delivery culture. Meanwhile, in order to solve social problems such as platform monopoly of private delivery apps and increased brokerage fees, many municipalities are launching public delivery apps from 2020 onwards. However, consumers who are used for the existing private delivery apps are not aware of the public delivery apps and the utilization rate is low. In this study, we will look at the impact of sense of community and service quality (information quality, delivery quality) on the intend to use public delivery apps. Studies have shown that SOC and information quality have a significant impact on the attitude of using public delivery apps, but not delivery quality. In addition, the attitude of using public delivery apps has been shown to have a mediating effect on the relationship between SOC, information quality and public delivery app use intentions respectively. Therefore, to activate the public delivery apps, it was found that it is necessary not only to promote, but also to improve user convenience, such as product search and user review inquiry to improve information quality, along with efforts to strengthen the sense of local community.

  • Recently, the method of social interaction is transforming into a method that utilizes videos. We are suggesting a new social video platform that contains a video of 'I' and 'the other'. We studied how the appearance of 'the other' and 'I' affected the user. So we applied the Social Impact Theory and Self-Monitoring Theory. The platforms were then used to investigate how the user's positive attitude and sense of community were affected by having the user view his/her and 'the other's appearance watching the same video. As the result, users felt more positive attitude when their own appearance was shown on the screen. However, the positive attitude decreased when there were more femininity in the surrounding videos along with their own appearance. Also, when there were more masculinity in the surrounding video, the users felt a stronger sense of community. We believe this research will provide implications for developing the structure and organization of a new social video platform.

  • This study was conducted using a multiple regression model to empirically analyze the impact of personal emotions and social change perceptions of pandemic experienced by Korean people in the COVID-19 situation on the perception of disaster response after the endemic. For this end, we used the survey data with 996 respondents on 「Daily Changes of the People After COVID-19」conducted by the Korea Press Promotion Foundation. The results showed that COVID-19 positive emotions and social change perception factors had a positive (+) effect on disaster response perception, while the sense of community had a moderating effect that alleviated COVID-19 negative emotions which had a negative (-) effect. The most influential factors on disaster response perception after the endemic were COVID-19 positive emotions and community sense that had pride and stability in Korean society during disaster situations. Therefore, this study suggests that systematic disaster response manuals and control towers that give the public pride and stability are more strongly requested for the government's prior and follow-up measures performed in the post-endemic disaster situation, and that the people are asked to have the community sense to overcome disasters together rather than to respond with personal actions and judgments.

  • In Korea, a movement for founding a intentional community village is becoming popular to improve the individualistic living environment, and to create a humanistic lifestyle. However, it is difficult to say whether its management is successful or not because the intentional community village such as an eco-village is still in an experimental stage in Korea. In this study, a intentional community village was proposed as an alternative approach to help residents build an effective cooperation system and to encourage them to participate in various communal activities. Detailed cases were studied including a formation process and methods of residents' participation. Through the case study, actual conditions of the community villages and several problems were studied. The conclusion of this study is as follows; In order to sustain the community village, it is crucial to encourage the community spirit among the residents. We also find that developing various community facilities and programs can easily raise a sense of familial warmth among the residents. Above all, proactive participation in the communal activities is the most important. It is also necessary to consider the architectural design which can be used as a guiding principle for foundation of the intentional community village. In addition, concrete and systematic solutions including communal activity programs, residents education, and self management regulations must be discussed.
