The human body is structured as sentence of healing. This study examines how the mechanism of healing works in the human body by the narrative relation of functor and argument. So, we predict the way of extreme healing by literary or human narrative. For this purpose, we analyze the principle that the emotional and semantic arguments are called by the functor set by the sentences containing the fingerprints of mind in Gosijo and the mechanism of healing works extensively. We analyze the process of the transition from the narrative of the literary to the narrative of the human body. Thus, the barcode of the healing, which is made up of the relationship between the functor of the literature and the argument, is transferred to the human body and it is judged that the fingerprint of the human mind is operated through the stage of encoding and re-encoding due to the action potential. In addition, it was predicted that the neurotransmitters such as dopamine and the secretion of hormones would be promoted and the healing level would be increased. In results, we conclude that the function of argument and functor which contains the fingerprint of the mind in the third sound step on the last sentence of Gosijo is transferred to the human body and is especially heavily focused and operate with healing.

Nowadays chronic degenerative diseases such as arthritis are increasing rapidly, even though acute infectious diseases are decreasing due to the advance of modern medicine. Although many of remedies are developed for arthritis healing, there is no precise medical prescription, and pathogenesis is not examined exactly. In this study, we confirmed gene expression of BMP 1A, BMP 2B, osteonectin and MGP which are genes related with bone formation in osteoblast by using ultrasonic stimulation. Through this study, we also evaluated the fact that ultrasound could be applied to arthritis healing by making activated osteoblast induce remodeling of cartilage. As a result of this research, BMP 2B and MGP have higher rates of expression in specific ultrasound mode. In conclusion, it is expected that ultrasound could be used efficiently for healing arthritis if we use ultrasounds according to symptoms of arthritis on reasonable terms.
Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigative the effects of Gagambojungikgi-tang (GBT), a Korean herbal medicine, on the immune mediators, T cell proliferation and wound healing in the recombinant Sj26 (rSj26) antigen induced atopic dermatitis(AD) model mice. Methods : GBT is the water extracts prepared from mixture of Ginseng Radix, Astragali Radix, Angelicae gigantis Radix, Atractylodes Rhizoma alba, Aurantii nobilis Pericarpium, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Artemisia iwayomogi Herba, Scutellaria Radix, Lonicera japonica Flos. This is a modified prescription of Bojungikgi-tang, which has been used for the treatment of indigestion, and immunological disease in east-asian countries. GBT was orally administered or externally applied at difference doses. The levels of immune mediators [(IgE, IgG1, prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), Th1/Th2 cytokines], T cell proliferation, and wound healing in the rSj26 or chemical antigen induced AD model BALB/c were investigated. Results : GBT dose-dependently suppressed the release of TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-$1{\beta}$ (Th1 cytokines), IL-4, IL-10 (Th2 cytokines), PGE2 (inflammatory mediators) and T cell proliferation. But GBT increased the production of IFN-${\gamma}$ (Th1 cytokine). Furthermore, A wound healing effect of GBT was similar to external application of dexamethasone. Conclusions : These results suggest that GBT suppresses the inflammatory mediators and regulates the Thl/Th2 cytokines, and promotes the wound healing. Therefore, these properties may contribute to the strong anti-AD effect of GBT.

Angiogenesis is important for promoting cardiovascular disease, wound healing, and tissue regeneration. We here investigated the pharmacological effects of Korea red ginseng water extract (KRGE) on angiogenesis and its underlying signal mechanism. This study showed that KRGE increased in vitro proliferation, migration, and tube formation of human umbilical endothelial cells, as well as stimulated in vivo angiogenesis. KRGE-induced angiogenesis was accompanied by phosphorylation of ERK1/2, Akt, and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) as well as an increase in NO production. Inhibition of PI3K activity by wortmannin completely inhibited KRGE-induced angiogenesis and phosphorylation of Akt, ERK1/2, and eNOS, indicating that PI3K/Akt activation is an upstream event of KRGE-mediated angiogenic pathway. The MEK inhibitor PD98059 completely blocked KRGE-induced angiogenesis and ERK phosphorylation without affecting Akt and eNOS activation. However, the eNOS inhibitor NMA effectively inhibited tube formation, but partially blocked proliferation and migration as well as ERK phosphorylation without altering Akt and eNOS activation, revealing that eNOS/NO pathway is in part involved in ERK1/2 activation. This study first demonstrated the critical involvement of both ERK1/2 and eNOS activation in KRGE-induced angiogenesis, which lie on downstream of PI3K/Akt. Thus, these results indicate that KRGE requires activation of both the PI3K/Akt-dependent ERK1/2 and eNOS signal pathways and their cross-talk for its full angiogenic activity.
Hypoesthesia after an inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) block does not commonly occur, but some cases are reported. The causes of hypoesthesia include a needle injury or toxicity of local anesthetic agents, and the incidence itself can cause stress to both dentists and patients. This case presents a hypoesthesia on mental nerve area followed by IAN block anesthesia with 2% lidocaine. Prescription of steroids for a week was performed and periodic follow up was done. After 1 wk, the symptoms got much better and after 4 mon, hypoesthesia completely disappeared. During this healing period, only early steroid medication was prescribed. In most cases, hypoesthesia is resolved within 6 mon, but being aware of etiology and the treatment options of hypoesthesia is important. Because the hypoesthesia caused by IAN block anesthesia is a mild to moderate nerve injury, early detection of symptom and prescription of steroids could be helpful for improvement of the hypoesthesia.
Through investigation on prescriptions from Dongeuibogam with Radix Puerariae as an ingredient, the following conclusions were reached. The 59 prescriptions with Radix Puerariae as an ingredient are mentioned from chapter of Pediatrics to chapter of Intestinal Convulsions. And 85% of those appears from chapter of Pediatrics to chapter of coughs. Prescriptions with Radix Puerariae as the main ingredient are used for skin diseases, cold, epidemics, abscess, diabetes, stroke, feverish diseases, intestinal diseases, weakness and cough. The dosage of Radix Puerariae varies from 0.875g to 11.25g. 3.75g was the most frequently used dosage which accounts 44%. And those with small dosage of 0.875 to 1.125g were for use on infants or pregnant women. The grounding pathology used for prescriptions with Radix Puerariae as an ingredient appeared to be mostly the pathology related to the Six External Qi. Among this, wind with cold(風寒), wind, cold with heat and humidity(風寒署濕), catching cold(傷寒), successively catching cold(兩感傷寒), cold of the Yangmyung and heat clogging(陽明傷寒火鬱), abnormal weather(時令不正) are the majority. Through the prescriptions with Radix Puerariae as an ingredient, it could be concluded Radix Puerariae that has various functions such as sweating and removing rash(發表透疹), exhalation and curing muscular ache(發散解肌), producing body fluid and ceasing thirst(生津止渴), opening abscess and healing the scar(托瘡生肌), removal of fever(解熱), resolving hangover(醒酒). Seungmagalguntang(升麻葛根湯) is used as the base prescription the most, and various prescriptions and herbs are combined according to the case.
Diabetic foot ulcers result from abnormal mechanical loading of the foot, such as repetitive pressure applied to the plantar aspect of the foot while walking. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy causes changes in foot structure, affecting foot function and subsequently leading to increased plantar foot pressure, which is a predictive risk factor for the development of diabetic foot ulceration. To early identify the insensitive foot makes it possible to prevent diabetic foot ulceration and to protect the foot at risk from abnormal biomechanical loading. Abnormal foot pressures can be reduced using several different approaches, including callus debridement, prescription of special footwear, foot orthosis. injection of liquid silicone, Achilles tendon lengthening, and so forth. Off-loading of the diabetic wound is a key factor to successful wound healing as it is associated with reduced inflammatory and accelerated repair processes. Pressure relief can be achieved using various off-loading modalities including accommodative dressing, walking splints, ankle-foot orthosis, total contact cast, and removable and irremovable cast walkers.
This study was designed to investigate prescriptions and herbs for treating coughing In childhood(小兒咳嗽) with oriental medical literature. The results were summarized as follows; 1. 182 prescriptions and 212 herbs were used for healing coughing in childhood. 2. There are 12 cases which has the same name of prescription with different elements. Applied prescriptions can be recorded according to the number as follows. They are Samsoeum(蔘蘇飮) and Jeonglyukhwan, Ageosan(阿膠散), Gamgiltang(甘桔湯), Keumbichosan(金沸草散), Sabaeksan(瀉白散), Gilgyungtang(桔梗湯), Mahwangtang(麻黃湯), Baekbyungja(白餠子), Baeksanghwan(白祥丸). Boeunhwan, Whagaesan(華盖散) respectively. 3. Applied herbs can be recorded according to the number as follows. They are (杏仁), Radix glycyrrhizae(甘草), Rhizoma zingiberis(生薑), Rhizoma pinelliae(半夏), Radix ginseng(人蔘) Platycodi radix(桔梗), Mori cortex(桑白皮).
Background and Purpose : Oncheongeum(溫淸飮) composed of Samultang(四物湯) and Hwangryunhaedoktang(黃連解毒湯) was mainly used for healing metrorrhagia in the Qing dynasty of China. At present, Oncheongeum is used for treating a broad spectrum of diseases such as skin disease, stomatitis, behcets disease, diabetes mellitus and, especially in Japan, atopic dermatitis. To our knowledge, however, neither the precise constituents and their effects of Oncheongeum nor the criteria for the prescription of Oncheongeum were defined. To address this issue, we searched and performed analysis of Korean, Chinese and Japanese articles reporting the clinical and experimental studies of Oncheongeum. Methods : We searched articles in the national assembly library of Korea by using keyword 'Oncheongeum' korean. Similarly, we did chinese articles in the CNKI and japanese ones in the CiNii, respectively. Results : We found 13 korean articles about Oncheongeum in the national assembly library, 34 chinese articles in the CNKI, and 23 japanese in the CiNii. The papers were divided into clinical and experimental articles. The clinical articles were mainly published from China and Japan, and their subjects were predominantly on skin diseases. Conclusions : There were a lot of case reports about Oncheongeum used in the clinical studies. In order to better understand the effects of Oncheongeum, systematic review of the studies seems essential. The efficacy of Oncheongeum reported in the clinical studies should be supported by experimental data. Not much were clinical reports in Korea, although we are expecting more to come. It is possible to not only analyse but compare Oncheongeum with other prescriptions used for atopic dermatitis. More comprehensive and comparative analysis of three countries' prescriptions might provide a way of how to standardize prescriptions, which leads oriental medicine to an evidence based medicine.
