도시공원내 야생조류의 먹이자원 및 인공새집 이용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Food Resource and Utilization of Artificial Nest of Wild-birds in Urban Woodland)

  • 먹이식물에 대한 야생조류의 기호성을 조사한 결과 28종 중에서 특히 소나무, 팽나무, 노박덩굴, 찔레꽃, 주목, 사철나무 등을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 야생조류의 먹이섭식량은 번식기(5∼6월)에는 동물성(섭식률 92.2%)을 식물성(섭식률 32.7%)보다 선호하였으나 비번식기(11∼12월)에는 동·식물성 모두 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 먹이 종류별 선호도는 식물성은 조, 좁쌀을 동물성은 쇠기름덩이, 번데기를 선호하였다. 공원별 인공새집 이용률은 노산공원 77.5%, 산호공원 50.3%, 진주성지 44.1%, 비봉공원 42.2% 순으로 노산공원에서 인공새집의 의존률이 가장 높았고, 인공새집 구멍 크기별로는 5cm 출입공보다 3cm 출입공을 주로 이용하는 것으로 나타났다.

A Trend Analysis of Floral Products and Services Using Big Data of Social Networking Services

  • This study was carried out to analyze trends in floral products and services through the big data analysis of various social networking services (SNSs) and then to provide objective marketing directions for the floricultural industry. To analyze the big data of SNSs, we used four analytical methods: Cotton Trend (Social Matrix), Naver Big Data Lab, Instagram Big Data Analysis, and YouTube Big Data Analysis. The results of the big data analysis showed that SNS users paid positive attention to flower one-day classes that can satisfy their needs for direct experiences. Consumers of floral products and services had their favorite designs in mind and purchased floral products very actively. The demand for flower items such as bouquets, wreaths, flower baskets, large bouquets, orchids, flower boxes, wedding bouquets, and potted plants was very high, and cut flowers such as roses, tulips, and freesia were most popular as of June 1, 2019. By gender of consumers, females (68%) purchased more flower products through SNSs than males (32%). Consumers preferred mobile devices (90%) for online access compared to personal computers (PCs; 10%) and frequently searched flower-related words from February to May for the past three years from 2016 to 2018. In the aspect of design, they preferred natural style to formal style. In conclusion, future marketing activities in the floricultural industry need to be focused on social networks based on the results of big data analysis of popular SNSs. Florists need to provide consumers with the floricultural products and services that meet the trends and to blend them with their own sensitivity. It is also needed to select SNS media suitable for each gender and age group and to apply effective marketing methods to each target.

실내공간에서의 시각적 선호도 예측에 관한 연구 (A study on the visual preference prediction of interiors)

  • The visual preference of interiors focusing on lobbies was investigated as a function of six predictor variable on the base of the Informational Approach: complexity, coherence, mystery, spaciousness, brightness, plant. The Common Fcator Analysis of preference ratings yielded six common factors which helped to account for 22.3 percent of the variance in preference response to the scene. Among these factors, the factor defined as 'bright with many plants' was the most preferred and the factor defined as 'simple and closed' was the least preferred. The environmental attributes reflected in six groups of scenes were colour, resting place, window and the six predictors. In the commercial building scenes, complexity, spaciousness, coherence, brightness and mystery out of six predictors accounted for 74 percent of preference variance as the significant contributors. In the business building scenes, three predictors which are brightness, complexity, spaciousness accounted for 84 percent of preference variance. 'The amount of plant' not only influenced the preference indirectly through the intervening variable, complexity, but also was moderately correlated with brightness. The overall pattern of the resulted confirmed the usefulness of the Informational Approach to predict the preference in interiors focusing on lobbies.

Assessment of Residents' Understanding and Demands on Gardens in Gyeongnam Region, Korea

  • This study was conducted to investigate effective ways to meet social and cultural interest in and needs of gardens and gardening. A total of 191 respondents who answered they were living in Gyeongnam region in the questionnaire were selected: 102 (53.4%) were males and 89 (46.6%) were females. In frequency of garden visits, 45% of the respondents answered they visited gardens once a year. Their preferred companion was family (43.6%), followed by friends/colleagues (24.3%). Their important motives of garden visits included admiration of gardens' scenery and ambience, pleasure in being outdoors, relaxing mentally and physically, and appreciation of plants. Relatively less important motives included understanding or educating about nature and environmental conservation, and interest in garden design and horticulture techniques. In the overall assessment of gardens and gardening, the quality of the establishment, management and operation of botanic gardens and arboreta in Gyeongnam region scored 3.32 scale, which was close to the level of 'fair.' Also, the respondents agreed at 3.91 scale that it was necessary to improve the garden creation, gardening, and garden culture. Meanwhile, many people in Gyeongnam region did not clearly understand differences between garden and public park, also had a very obscure perception of public garden. The results of importance-performance analysis (IPA) indicated that it is necessary to concentrate on directing and developing some programs such as admiration of beautiful and exotic plants, and education on garden culture including garden making and horticultural techniques.

건물용도별 옥상공간의 이용행태 및 선호도 분석 - 서울특별시의 사례를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of the Behavior and the Preference of Roof Spaces Depending on Building Types - A Focus on the Case of Seoul, Korea -)

  • 오늘날 옥상공간은 대부분 휴식과 같은 이용을 목적으로 조성되고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 옥상공간의 이용이 적거나, 유지관리가 소홀하게 되면, 옥상공간이 방치되거나, 용도변경 등의 이유로 조성비용의 낭비를 초래할 수 있어, 이용을 활성화하기 위한 설계가 필요할 것으로 판단하였다. 한편, 국내의 경우, 옥상공간은 비교적 획일적이고 단순하게 조성되어 있다. 하지만, 건물용도에 따라 이용자 특성이 다르기 때문에 옥상공간의 이용행태와 선호도도 다를 것이며, 옥상공간의 이용을 활성화하기 위해서 이러한 점을 고려할 필요가 있다고 보았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 4개의 건물용도(공공건물, 교육연구건물, 의료건물, 판매건물)를 선정하여 연구대상지의 이용경험자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 옥상공간의 이용행태와 선호도를 건물용도별로 비교분석하였다. 이때, 교차분석, 다중응답분석, 신뢰도분석, 일원배치 분산분석을 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 옥상공간의 이용행태에서 이용목적, 이용동기, 이용빈도, 평균체류시간이 건물용도별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 이용목적의 경우, 모든 건물에서는 휴식을 위해서 옥상공간을 가장 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 공공건물에서는 대화와 흡연을, 교육연구건물에서는 흡연, 산책 및 스트레칭, 외부경관감상을, 의료건물에서는 산책 및 스트레칭과 대화를, 판매건물에서는 아이 돌보기와 대화를 목적으로 옥상공간을 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 옥상공간의 선호도에서도 식물유형, 포장재, 시설물 선호도가 건물용도별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 식물유형의 경우, 공공건물 이용자들은 초본류와 채소류 및 수생식물을, 의료건물 이용자들은 채소류 및 수생식물을, 판매건물 이용자들은 모든 유형의 식물을 다른 용도의 건물 이용자들보다 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 건물용도별 옥상공간의 이용행태와 선호도 차이를 고려하여 옥상공간을 조성함으로써 이용 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • 골프장 주요 해충인 녹색콩풍뎅이(Popillia quadriguttata) 성충의 기주식물을 경남지역의 골프장에서 알아본 결과, 골프장에서는 13과 15속 15종의 식물을 식해하는 것이 관찰됨으로서 기존 문헌기록의 8과 11속 11종을 합하여 총 18과 25속 26종의 기 주식물이 기록되었다. 녹색콩풍뎅이의 섭식 가능 식물을 알아보기 위하여 실내에서 조사한 결과, 34과 70종의 제공 식물 중 19과 30종을 섭식하였다. 골프장에서는 등나무를 선호하였고. 실내 실험에서는 찰피나무와 석류, 버즘나무, 이팝나무, 고욤나무를 선호하였다.

Conjoint 분석을 통한 주요 절화류의 소비 예측 분석 (Conjoint Analysis of the Korean Floriculture Market for the Main Cut Flowers to Predict the Demand for Floriculture Plants)

  • 본 연구에서는 소비자들의 주요 절화류에 대한 구매행동과 인식을 파악하여 시장을 예측하고, 소비 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 설문조사를 전문 리서치 기관에 대행하여 실시하였고, 주요 절화류를 대상을 조사를 하여 컨조인트 및 군집분석을 하였다. 설문조사결과, 장미의 경우는 선택 속성별 중요도는 가격과 절화수명이 비슷하게 높았으며, 그 다음으로 화색, 화형의 순으로 분석되었다. 각 속성별 부분가치를 보면, 가격은 1000원, 꽃의 형태는 군집1의 남성의 경우만 빼고 여성 군집 2,3,4,5,6,7의 경우 모두 스프레이 형태의 장미를 선호하였다. 꽃의 절화수명에 대한 중요도는 높은 수준을 보여 모든 군집에서 7-8일로 나타났고 화색은 빨강색을 가장 선호하였다. 국화의 경우 선택속성별 중요도는 화색이 가장 높고, 그 다음으로 절화수명, 화형, 가격 순으로 분석되었다. 부분가치를 보면 가격은 1000원, 화형은 스탠다드, 절화수명은 16-20일, 화색은 노란색이 가장 높았다. 백합의 경우 선택속성별 중요도는 화형이 가장 높았고, 그 다음으로 절화수명, 가격, 화색 등의 순으로 분석되었다. 부분가치를 보면, 가격은 2000원, 화형은 대형을, 절화수명은 4-7일, 화색은 노란색이 가장 높았다. 주요 절화(장미, 국화, 백합)을 대상으로 컨조인트 분석 결과, 장미의 경우 가격과 절화수명이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 국화는 절화수명과 화색, 백합은 화형과 절화수명으로 나타났다. 주요 절화 모두 공통적으로 절화수명의 중요도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 소비자 조사를 통해 주요 절화류에 대한 소비자의 선호 패턴을 분석하고 이를 근거로 소비자의 기호에 맞는 상품을 기획 생산하여 화훼류 소비 활성화 방안을 위한 기초조사 자료를 제시하고자 하였다.

Improved Self-Esteem in Women with Hearing Impairment after Horticultural Therapy and Subjects' Program Preference

  • This study was conducted to determine the effects of horticultural therapy on self-esteem of women with hearing impairment. Ten women with hearing impairment registered in the Mokpo Branch of the Korean Association of the Deaf participated in the horticultural therapy programs (HTP) for self-esteem. The self-esteem scale was used to evaluate the effects of the programs and scores were compared to determine the difference before and after the programs. Self-esteem was improved in all 10 subjects, and its mean value increased with statistical significance from 22.5 points before the programs to 29.8 points after the programs. The programs preferred by women with hearing impairment included 'making a centerpiece using scented candles and flowers', 'packing and planting pot spray chrysanthemum', 'making a topiary', 'planting Hedera helix', and 'planting cyclamen'. Therefore, it was suggested that self-esteem of women with hearing impairment were improved by increasing social and family support, emotional stability, positive feedback, and self-expression through horticultural therapy programs.

원의 운견에 관한 연구 -집사를 중심으로- (A Study on the Woon Kyun of Won - Focused on the Jipsa -)

  • Woon Kyun was one of the shoulder cloth worn by both men and women during Won(원) Dynasty. The distinet features of Woon Kyun was that it had cloud-form embroidered on chest, back and both shoulders respectively and the front of it was opened. It also glitterinyly decorated with five different colored embroidery inserted with gold thread. 26 Woon Kyun out of 59 men demonstrated on the miniature of ≪Jipsa≫ were selected and analyzed according to the historical periods, class and sex. The results of the study showed that there was little change on its forms and patterns and people wore it without specific differentiation. The common patterns of embroidery used were various kinds of animals and plants, however, plants seemed to be more preferred.

  • Manufacturing technology for the production of high value-added fine chemical products is emphasized and getting more attention as the diversified interests of customers and the demand of high quality products are getting bigger and bigger everyday. Thus, the development of advanced batch processes, which is the preferred and most appropriate way of producing these types of products, and the related technologies are becoming more important. Therefore, high-precision batch distillation is one of the important elements in the successful manufacturing of fine chemicals, and the importance of the process operation strategy with quality assurance cannot be overemphasized. Accordingly, proposing a process structure explanation and operation strategy of such processes including batch processes and batch distillation would be of great value. We investigate optimal operation strategy and production planning of multi-purpose plants consisting of batch processes and batch distillation for the manufacturing of fine chemical products. For the short-term scheduling of a sequential multi-purpose batch plant consisting of batch distillation under MPC and UIS policy, we proposed a MILP model based on a priori time slot allocation. Also, we consider that the waste product of being produced on batch distillation is recycled to the batch distillation unit for the saving of raw materials. The developed methodology will be especially useful for the design and optimal operations of multi-purpose and multiproduct plants that is suitable for fine chemical production.
