Sportswear, including sports shoes, becomes a common and popular category because it gives young people a more relax lifestyle and greater versatility and comfort. It is believed that consumers prefer products of developed countries to products of developing or underdeveloped countries. This study tries to compare consumer behaviors for sports shoes in China and Korea. Our research model analyzed relationships among country-of-origin, perceived quality, perceived price, brand image and purchase intention for sports shoes in Korea and China. The country-of-origin was not found to play a significant role in Korea. But it was found to positively influence perceived quality in China. Brand image was found to play an important role in influencing perceived quality and perceived price in Korea and China. Perceived quality was found to influence positively purchase intention in both countries. Perceived price was found to negatively influence purchase intention in China. Implications drawn from this study were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived parental behavior and children’s coping behaviors with parent-related problems on parent-related stress. The subjects were 234 children composed of 115 3rd-graders and 119 6th-graders elected from three elementary schools in Seoul(121 males and 113 females). Statistical techniques were means, Percentages, Scheffe test, ANOVA and Multiple Regressions. The major findings of this study were as follows : 1) There was a significant difference in parent-related stress with respect to perceived parental behavior and coping behaviors of childrens such as passive, avoidant, and aggressive coping. Perceived parental behavior and aggressive coping behavior showed significant interaction effects. When children perceived parental behavior as being less suppotive and children more aggressively coped with parent-related problems, parent-rotated stress increased in level. 2) Among perceived parental behavior and pasive, avoid, aggressive coping behavior, perceived parental behavior and passive coping behavior were significant predictors of parent-related stress. Perceived parental behavior was much more predictor of parent-related stress than the passive coping behavior.

The purpose of this research is to understand the general consumer knowledge and adoption intention of nanotechnology products, one of the advanced scientific fields. We examined consumers' knowledge of innovation products based on nanotechnology, by gender and age group, which are divided into benefits, cost, and trust perception. As a result, the benefits were highly perceived in the order of perceived usefulness, perceived gains, and perceived ease of use. In general, it was found that men and older age group perceived the benefits of nanotechnology to be relatively higher than women and younger age groups did. In terms of cost, perceived risk was relatively higher than other variables and a high innovation resistance appeared in the younger 30s group. Finally, we found that trust for nano-related institution is relatively lower than trust for nano-related people and trust for nanotechnology itself.

This study demonstrates some major traits of digital contents as information, playfulness, individuality, perceived recognition as perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, relationship quality as satisfaction and commitment, user behavior as use intention. To make an empirical analysis the study, it is hypothesized that traits of digital contents and perceived recognition, traits of digital contents and relationship quality, perceived recognition and relationship quality, relationship quality and user behavior. Proposed theoretical model was based on TAM and was tested by the structure equation model for validity, credibility, goodness of fit. The major finding of this study can be summarized as follows, traits of digital contents are positively affected by perceived recognition, satisfaction in relationship quality and use intention via perceived recognition. Theoretical implication of this study are as follows. First, users wanted to choice only needed information. Second, users recognized digital contents as a part of life. So, user's ability is very important in this environment. According to this, business related with or interested in digital contents must have developed digital contents in variety aspect. Users must have concerned using digital contents, also.

Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship of ethical leadership to perceived organizational support and organizational commitment, and explored the mediating role of perceived organizational support in ethical leadership and organizational commitment of nurse. Method: Data were collected from 256 nurses in one city. Data from the completed questionnaires was analyzed with the SPSSWIN and AMOS programs. Result: Ethical leadership related positively to perceived organizational support and organizational commitment. There was also a positive relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment. It was found that perceived organizational support showed a partial mediating role between relationship of ethical leadership and organizational commitment. Conclusion: The results suggest that positive effects in developing organizational commitment in nurses occur when nurse administrators are concerned about ethical leadership and perceived organizational support.

This study explains the consumer acceptance of smart clothing using the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM); in addition, it compares the difference in the path hypotheses of the perceived group and nonperceived group from the aspect of the extended TAM. A total of 815 copies of questionnaire were collected from a web-based survey in March 2009. Structural equation modeling was used to examine the entire pattern of intercorrelations among the constructs and to test related propositions using an AMOS 5.0 package. The fitness of the extended TAM explains the process of the adaptation of smart clothing. Technology Innovation (TI) and Clothing Involvement (CI) were confirmed as antecedent variables to affect TAM. In the perceived group, Technology Innovation (TI) and Clothing Involvement (CI) showed significant impacts on the Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU) while Technology Innovation (TI) did not influence the Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) in the non-perceived group. Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) influenced the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and indirectly influenced Attitude (A) through the Perceived Usefulness (PU) in both groups. In addition, Perceived Usefulness (PU) did not influence Acceptance Intention (AI) but indirectly affected Acceptance Intention (AI) through Attitude (A). Therefore, Attitude (A) was found to be an important parameter in the adaptation of smart clothing in both groups. This finding implies that consumers first perceive the usefulness of smart clothing, then take favorable attitudes towards the smart clothing, and finally have the intention to adopt it. Strategies for publishing and informing consumers of the functions of smart clothing and usefulness in life are necessary; in addition, understanding what useful values they expect from the clothing is also crucial.
AI voice speaker has played an important role in forming an early market and development for AI-based goods and service with growing attention from many people. In this context, this research examined factors affecting continuous intention of AI voice speaker based on the integrated adoption model, which combined two factors of perceived playfulness and innovation resistance with extended technology acceptance model. It was also examined whether three perceived anthropomorphic features(i.e., perceived rational support, perceived intimacy, perceived cognitive openness) have influences on continuous intention of AI voice speaker. The data was collected by an online-survey and were responses of those who are in their 20s and 30s and have experienced in using AI voice speaker. They were analyzed by using SEM(Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that all of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived playfulness and innovation resistance had significant influences on continuous intention of AI voice speaker. In addition, all of perceived rational support, perceived intimacy and perceived cognitive openness as perceived anthropomorphic features had significant influences on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness. The implications of found results in this research was also discussed.
Purpose - This study attempted to construct and validate a structural model of the relationship between the quality of medical services, perceived risk, reputation and customer satisfaction, which is the main concept of the relationship between large hospitals as well as small and medium hospitals and medical consumers. Through this verification, the small and medium hospitals are to find the way for wise coping in competitive situation with large hospitals. Research design, data, and methodology - This research developed a hypothesis by constructing a structural equation that reaches the satisfaction and the relationship between reputation of perceived risk and perceived risk of service quality perceptions of customers of small and medium hospitals. Research data were collected through a questionnaire survey of respondents who had medical service experience from small and medium hospital. A total data of 252 respondents were used as the sample for the final analysis and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23. Results - As a result, the relationship of quality of medical service, reputation, and customer satisfaction among small and medium hospitals was consistent with the results of precedent studies, and the perceived risk has a significant impact on reputation, so the greater the perceived risk, the higher the preference for reputable medical institutions as large hospitals. In addition, it was found that the direct route from perceived risk to customer satisfaction was not significant, and reputation was found to have a full mediating effect on perceived risk and customer satisfaction. Customers who use small and medium hospitals prefer to use reputable medical institutions if their perceived risk is high, which is different from risk perception when specific targets are specified. Conclusions - In terms of the effect from customer satisfaction, not only the path of perceived risk → reputation → customer satisfaction, but also the quality of service quality → reputation → customer satisfaction. These findings suggest that small and medium hospitals are appropriately responding to competition with large hospitals, rather than focusing on the perceived risks and reputation of customers in establishing and utilizing competitive strategies to create new customers and preserve existing customers.

This study is to estimate differences, relationships and related factors of environmental risk perception and perceived benefit among residents and workers. A self-administered questionnaire survey using a structured instrument was carried out to residents and workers in industrial area during April, 2002. Total number of participants were 657 including 329 residents and 328 workers. Participants assessed environmental risk perception, self- assessed knowledge, trust in authorities and perceived benefit associated with 10 products manufactured in industrial area. There were difference in environmental risk perception, knowledge and trust in authorities and perceived benefit among residents and workers. Especially, trust in authorities and perceived benefit were statistically significant difference among residents and workers. Inverse relationships between environmental risk perception and perceived benefit have been observed for different products. In other words, the greater the perceived benefit, the lower the perceived risk, and vice versa. Factors mostly associated with participant's characteristics of environmental risk perception were age. marriage status (workers), education level (workers). There was statistically significant difference. Perceived benefit was statistically significant difference with sex, marriage status, residence duration, education level (workers). Related factors of environmental risk perception among residents and workers were age, trust in authorities. And factors affecting the perceived benefit were sex, age, education level (workers), and trust in authorities (workers). According to the results, people having high trust in the authorities perceived less risks than people having low in the authorities. To improve the communication of risk information, further study focus on assessment of experts, government and stakeholder in industrial area. Methodologies of this study can be used as the basis for investigating the structure of public perception of environmental products risks and benefit, designing a public information and risk communication program, and developing policy actions to improve acceptance.
Purpose - The aims of this study are follows. We investigated to find out how country image and brand image affect the consumer perceived value, consumer attitude, and purchase intention of foreign infant foods in China. Especially, we focused on investigate for the moderating role of consumer knowledge between national image, brand image and consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods in China. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed the effect of national image and brand image on purchase intention through consumer perceived value and consumer attitude. This study collected data for empirical analysis of Chinese consumers who have been purchase experience infant foods in China. 256 copies of questionnaire data were used for substantial analysis. Before testing the hypothesis, factor analysis was conducted to test the construct validity of measurement items. Hypotheses about effects between variables were verified using structural equation modeling analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results - First, the country image had a positive effect on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. Second, the brand image had a positive effect on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. Third, the consumer perceived value had a positive effect on consumer attitude. Fourth, the consumer attitude had a positive effect on purchase intention. Fifth, the consumer knowledge was moderating roles between brand image and consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. However, the consumer knowledge did not effect of moderating between country image and perceived value of consumers. Conclusions - First, the impact of country image and brand image on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods in China can be seen as a universal psychology of consumers who trust pure foreign products such as high quality, technology, etc. Second, consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods has a positive effect on consumer attitude, and this attitude is leading to purchase intention. Third, the consumer knowledge between brand image and perceived value acts as a moderating variable. It means that the consumer's knowledge can shape the perception of the brand image more strongly.
