다단 습식 신선공정 해석 및 적용 (Analysis of Multi-Pass Wet Wire Drawing Process and Its Application)

  • Multi-pass wet wire drawing process is used to produce fine wire in the industrial field. The production of fine wire through multi-pass wet wire drawing process with appropriate dies pass schedule would be impossible without understanding the relationship among many process parameters such as material properties, dies reduction, friction conditions, drawing speed etc However, in the industrial field, dies pass schedule of multi-pass wet wire drawing process has been executed by trial and error of experts. This study investigated the relationship among many process parameters quantitatively to obtain the important process information fur the appropriate pass schedule of multi-pass wet wire drawing process. Therefore, it is possible to predict the many important process parameters of multi-pass wet wire drawing process such as dies reduction, machine reduction, drawing force, backtension force, slip rate, slip velocity rate, power etc. The validity of the analyzed drawing force was verified by FE simulation and multi-pass wet wire drawing experiment. Also, pass redesign was performed based on the analyzed results, and the wire breakage between the original pass schedule and the redesigned pass schedule was compared through experiment.

단층치료기를 이용한 방사선 치료의 환자별 정도관리 평가를 위한 감마인덱스의 정량화 방법 (A Method to Calculate a Pass Rate of the ${\gamma}$-index Analysis in Tomotherapy Delivery Quality Assurance (DQA))

  • 단층치료기(TomoTherapy$^{(R)}$)를 이용한 방사선 치료에서 환자별 정도관리인 DQA (delivery quality assurance)는 보통 이온 전리함과 필름을 이용한다. DQA의 결과는 치료계획장비인 TomoPS (Tomo Planning Station)를 이용하여 분석하게 되는데 필름을 이용한 2차원 선량분포의 비교는 감마인덱스 분석을 사용한다. 감마인덱스를 이용한 비교는 3%/3 mm와 같은 기준을 사용하여 이 기준을 통과한 비율(pass rate)이 허용 값보다 크게 되는지 확인한다. TomoPS는 pass rate 값을 정량적으로 계산해주는 기능이 없다. 본 논문에서는 TomoPS 감마인덱스 분석의 pass rate를 정량적으로 계산하는 방법을 제시하고 이를 계산해주는 프로그램인 PassRT를 개발하였다. PassRT의 검증을 위해 I'mRT MatriXX (IBA Dosimetry, Germany)를 사용하여 측정한 세기조절방사선 치료를 받은 환자의 환자별 정도관리 자료와 필름을 사용한 DQA 자료를 사용하였다. 두 가지 종류의 자료에 대해 PassRT로 계산한 pass rate를 OmniPro I'mRT (IBA Dosimetry, Germany)프로그램으로 계산한 pass rate와 비교하였다. MatriXX를 이용하여 측정한 자료의 비교결과 평균오차 0.00%, 표준편차 0.01%, 최대오차 0.04%였고, 필름의 결과는 평균오차 0.00%, 표준편차 0.02%, 최대오차 0.02%였다. 관심영역이 $24.3{\times}16.6cm^2$ 보다 작은 경우 본 논문에서 제시한 방법으로 감마인덱스 분석의 pass rate를 소수점 첫째자리 까지 정확하게 계산할 수 있어서 보다 정확한 단층치료기의 DQA에 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

  • This paper investigates the multi-pass wet wire drawing process considering the slip between the wire and the capstan. The production of fine wire through multi-pass wet wire drawing process would be impossible without backtension. The backtension is affected by many process parameters, such as slip, dies reduction, coiling number of wire at the capstan, machine reduction, characteristic of lubricant etc. Up to date, die design and dies pass schedule of multi-pass wet wire drawing process have been performed by trial and error of expert in the industrial field. In this study, an analysis program which can perform the analysis and considering the effect of slip at each capstan was developed. The effects of many important parameters (drawing force, backtension force, needed power, slip rate, slip velocity rate etc.) on multi-pass wet wire drawing process can be predicted by this developed program. It is possible to obtain the important basic data which can be used in the pass schedule of multi-pass wet wire drawing process by using this developed program.

  • The Production of fine wire through wet wire drawing process with appropriate pass schedule would be impossible without understanding of relationship among many process parameters. Therefore, this paper investigates the relationship among process parameters of wet wire drawing process. In this study, it is possible to obtain the important basic data that can be used in the pass schedule of multi-pass wet wire drawing process. In order to verify the effectiveness of the analysis, pass redesign was performed based on the result of analysis to reduce the wire breakage. The wire breakage between the conventional pass schedule and the redesigned pass schedule was compared by the FE analysis and the wet win drawing experiment.

초경날식 절삭형 완패스정미기의 개발 (Development of One-Pass Rice Whitener with Cutting Blades of Hard Metal)

  • A one-pass rice whitener with hard metal blades was developed to solve the problems of the existing one-pass rice whitener. The developed one-pass rice whitener was tested and improved through various milling experiments. It showed high performance such as the capacity of 3.5 t/h, the energy consumption of $1.0 kWh/100kg$, milled rice recovery of 91.6%, broken rice rate of 2.2%, the crack rate of 1.9% at the 750 rpm of the roller shaft, compared with those other domestic and foreign one-pass rice whiteners. Especially, it could whiten broun rice of high moisture (16~l7%) with water sprayed at low internal pressure of less than $0.2 kg/cm^2$ and low temperature due to the characteristics of the cutting part composed of 24 hard metal blades. The developed one-pass rice whitener was industrilized and distributed to some rice processing complexs in one fourth price compared with that of imported one-pass rice whiteners.

  • 제트 엔진 변조(jet engine modulation: JEM) 신호는 제트 엔진 고유의 정보를 제공하기 때문에 표적 인식 분야에서 널리 이용된다. JEM 신호의 고유 정보인 날개 수를 얻기 위해서는 날개의 회전 속도, spool rate를 추출하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만 약한 JEM 신호에서는 회전 속도를 추출하는데 어려움을 겪는다. 이에 본 논문에서는 약한 JEM 신호에서 spool rate를 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 우선 JEM 신호에서 spool rate를 추출하기 위해서 JEM 신호 성분의 강약을 구분하는 기준을 정하여 신호를 구분한다. 그 중 약한 신호를 high-pass filtering 기반의 전처리 과정을 거쳐 spool rate 추출에 용의하도록 신호를 변형해준다. Spool rate를 추출할 수 있는 신호를 얻고 난 후, peak detection 과정을 통하여 spool peak를 찾고, spool period/rate를 추출한다. 기존의 CEMD(Complex Empirical Mode Decomposition), WD(Wavelet Decomposition)와 같은 방법보다 간단하기 때문에, 추출을 정확하게 할 뿐만 아니라 시간을 매우 절약할 수 있음을 입증하였다.

FTA 이후, 국내 수입수산물 가격의 환율전가도 변화 (The Change in Exchange Rate Pass-Through into Import Price of the Post-FTA Import Market for Fishery Products in South Korea)

  • The effect of change in exchange rates on an economy is very important, especially, to a small open economy like South Korea. I explore whether Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) have positive influences on exchange rate-pass through import price of import market for fishery products in South Korea. Competition among FTA partners is enhanced after FTAs are effective. I expect that the extent to which are exchange rate pass-through (hereafter, ERPT) into import price of fishery products (in terms of Korea currency) would be reduced since the import market for fishery products in South Korea is an oligopolistic market. Specifically, I investigate two research questions with six South Korea's FTA partners-Norway, Thailand, Peru, U.S., China and Vietnam. First, whether the extent to which are exchange rate pass-through into import price of fishery products from six FTA partners would decrase in the post-FTA era; seconds, the size of reduction has a negative relation with the size of their market share in the import market for fishery products in South Korea if it decreases. The empirical results indicate that the degree of ERPT into import price from other FTA partners than Norway has been reduced after FTA, statistically and significantly; however, I do not find the evidence that the size of reduction is related to their market share. The findings in this study imply that FTAs have negative effects on producers' economic welfare in South Korea's fishery industry by reducing the extent to which are exchange rate pass-through as well as reducing tariff barriers.

우리나라 수출가격에 대한 환율전가율 변화 (Declines in Exchange Rate Pass-through to Export Prices in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 장기간의 시계열 자료를 이용하여 우리 경제의 수출가격에 대한 환율전가율 변화를 실증적으로 분석한 것이다. 분석 결과, 외환위기를 전후로 수출가격에 대한 환율전가율이 하락하였음을 발견하였는데, 이는 우리나라의 수출기업이 환율 변동의 영향을 수출가격에 전가하기 보다 내부적으로 마크업 조정을 통해 흡수하는 경향이 외환위기 이후에 더욱 높아졌음을 의미한다. 또한 환율전가율의 비대칭성 분석을 통해 외환위기 이후의 환율전가율 하락은 거의 대부분 환율이 하락했을 때 발생하였음을 발견하였는데, 이는 외환위기 이후 환율이 하락하는 시기에 수출기업들이 달러표시 수출가격을 인상하는 대신에 해외시장에서의 시장점유율을 유지하는 전략을 채택해 왔음을 시사한다. 한편, 이러한 환율전가율의 하락은 환율 변동성의 확대와 세계시장에서 중국과의 경쟁이 심화되면서 나타난 것으로 분석되었다.

  • In the high carbon steel wire drawing process, the wire temperature increases as the drawing speed is faster in order to increase the production rate in the shop floor. The rapid temperature rise causes the wire fracture in the dry wire drawing process. So, in this paper, the isothermal pass schedule program, which includes the calculation method of wire temperature at each pass, is proposed to prevent the wire fracture due to the temperature rise. Using the isothermal pass schedule program, it is newly proposed the pass schedule design system that prevents the cup-cone defects, improves the elongation of the final products and assures further deformation. As a result, the temperature rise of the wire was decreased and the production rate of the final product is remarkably grown up according to the increase of the final drawing speed than that of the conventional process. Also, the proposed pass schedule design system could give a useful information to the process designer who would design the high carbon steel wire drawing process.
