This study is to figure out the Filipino cultural identity by analyzing the image of the Philippine comfort woman statue, which was created as a representation of memories of the Filipino comfort women during the World War II. As a new approach to the field of area study, this study introduced the concept of 'intertextuality', which is a method of understanding texts in the field of literature. Since the comfort woman statue represents the grieved memories of the comfort women during the international war time, the analysis of the image was focused on 'femininity' and 'nationalism'. As for comparison, the Korean comfort woman statue, the Statue of Peace, was taken into the analysis. Upon analyzing, it can be seen that Filipino perception of femininity emphasizes 'beauty' rather than 'purity' that expressed in the Statue of Peace. And the Philippine nationalism expressed through the comfort woman statue can find 'elitist and inclusive' characteristics, unlike the 'popular and resisting' characteristics of Korean.

The acetylation of histone is one of the mechanisms involved in the regulation of gene expression and is tightly controlled by two core enzymes, histone acetyltransferase (HAT) and deacetylase (HDAC). There are several reports that imbalance of HAT and HDAC activity is associated with abnormal behavior of the cells in morphology, cell cycle, differentiation, and carcinogenesis. Recently, an increasing number of structurally diverse HDAC inhibitors have been identified that inhibit proliferation and induce differentiation and/or apoptosis of tumor cells in vivo and in vitro. In this study, we have investigated the effects of novel HDAC inhibitors, IN2001 on ER positive and ER negative human breast cancer cell lines. The growth inhibition, cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of cells by HDAC inhibitors were determined using SRB assay, DNA fragmentation, and flow cytometry. We found that IN 2001 as well as Trichostatin A inhibited cell growth dose-dependently in both ER positive and ER negative human breast cancer cell lines. The growth inhibition with HDAC inhibitors was associated with profound morphological change. The result of cell cycle analysis after 24 h exposure of IN2001 showed G2-M cell cycle arrest in MCF-7 cell and apoptosis in T47D and MDA-MB-231 cell. In summary, IN2001 has antiproliferative effect on human breast cancer cells regardless of the expression of estrogen receptor. These findings heights the possibility of developing HDAC inhibitors as potential anticancer therapeutic agents for the treatment of breast cancer.

Also, management ability, entrepreneurship, technological ability have been shown to influence sales, market share, profitability. According to research, it IS important for business women to know management, improving of technology ability and entrepreneurship.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of horse riding exercise for the prevention of falls in the frail woman elderly people. Method : 30 subjects in H-equestrian and N-equestrian were randomly divided two group, aero-step exercise group and horse-riding exercise group. Each group carried out 40 minutes exercise three times a week for 8 weeks. TUG were measured for dynamic balance ability, and sway path of COP movement during standing were measured for evaluation of static balance ability in balance performance monitor(BPM). Result : The results were as follows, the dynamic balance scales of TUG between aero-step exercise and horse-riding exercise groups in post-test, were significantly different in measures(p<.05). And there were significant in two group after exercise(p<.05). The static balance scales of sway path between aero-step exercise and horse-riding exercise groups in post-test, were significantly different in measures(p<.05). And there were significant in two group after exercise(p<.05). Conclusion : These finding revealed that horse-riding exercise was effective on dynamic and static balance abiility of elderly people so that these exercise can be new altematives for the prevention of falls in the frail woman elderly people.

Expression of woman characters in fusion traditional dramas plays a role of making the progress of dramas not bigoted and new. Especially, woman characters have a high weight as a heroine by an increase in their image in fusion traditional dramas. Expression of characters harmonizing modern with tradition has also given a help in reflecting a trend of the present times. Hair style and face makeup of woman characters in fusion traditional dramas are in the process of fusionization getting an effect from postmodernism. They are expressing the hair style of symbolization modern elements of hair style to traditional hair styles. They also expressed a neutral image with faded hair styles in the shaggy cut style and dye of neoplaticism. Neo-hippie style was changed into the style of naturalism and nationalism and the hair style braided in various branches as the one of Indians was changed into a primitive and national feature. It is producing a new style by permitting even a long-hair permanent wave hair style. Expression of straight hair style, a long-hair shaggy & bulging wave style and a hair style of neoplaticism, was distinguished. In the side of face makeup, they expressed its luxurious and splendid style by attaching great importance to its luster and are exposing images of characters by a smoky makeup emphasizing eye lines. Their face makeup was almost never separated from present dramas as using pearl shadow in a glossy lips makeup and color, which made it possible to express it more dramatically in fusion traditional dramas than in present dramas. In the event of the makeup element of fusion traditional dramas permitting diversity, the character makeup of fusion traditional dramas made a foundation to show people diverse elements of makeup by mix & match a present elements and past elements of historical research, which made it possible to express a unique makeup or a special makeup. Diverse makeup expressions were limited by reflection of illumination even in the existing videos. Therefore, 'Fusion' made it possible to express it more freely in fusion traditional dramas than in present dramas.

The purpose of this study was to make suitabl skirts pattern for pregnant woman on the basis of their physical characteristics. 9 women who were 3,5,8 and 10 months pregnant were measured using Martin's anthropometric instrument on 12 items and sliding gauge on 4 items. The measures were analyzed statistically. Skirts pattern was developed based on the measurements of the essential items for skirts construction. The sensory evaluation was applied to estimate fittness and comfort in Rim's method skirt pattern. The items which showed a remarkable and significant increase were anterior waist circumference, anterior waist height and abdominal circumference. The anterior part of waist and abdorminal sections projected forward gradually. According to statistical analysis on the questionnaire, all the items showed significant difference between the new and the Rim's method skirts pattern with the new pattern having higher scores.

This paper analyzes the similarity of fashion in the 1920's and 1960's. Fashion is a reflection of Zeitgeist. The similarity of fashion appeared in the similar social ideal period. The fashion of the 1920's and 1960's have a lot of similarity in many respects. Androgyny was the new word. The woman cut her hair short, wore short skirt, and projected a self-confidence that was considered by many to be too masculine. The new fashions also appeared very youthful. The cult of eternal youth was born. The mature woman was no longer requested. Instead, in the face of changing lifestyles and extremely rapid technological development, taste ran in favor of a young, athletic, and mobile ideal. The new fashions do-emphasized curvaceous shapes through short dresses and short hair-both styles were supposed to express youthfulness. Characteristic of the times was the short loose dress: straight silhouette disguised feminine curves. The new dresses were invented for very young, slim, and wide-eyed women. The common Zeitgeist of the 1920's and 1960's represents the cult of youth and the adoption of innovative style, which emphasized decoration-cleared simplicity, functionality, practicality, activity, androgyny. Innovative short skirt, youth fashion, androgynous style, unisex style, tubular silhouette, short hair style, and eyeline-emphasized makeup were analyzed by the similarity of fashion in the 1920's and 1960's.

The purpose of this thesis is to make clear particulartity of young adult generation which leads industry in their demands so that fashion trends are foresaw, and to describe style of costume satisfied with picture of new male. This thesis is to consider young adult style of costume in terms of double root described by W$\ddot{o}$lfflin in the internal meaning and the external form, so as to analyze their unique style. In conclusion, domestic young adult style of costume is embodied in the internal meanings of individuality, aestheticism and new classicism in terms of the external forms which means body-priority-form by open-form, whole-form, integration-form, rounded-form, indeterminate-form. With these results, domestic fashion industry is demanded to be from classic to modern expressions so as to be reflected in sophisticated masculinity of young adult.

The New Look, which Christian Dior presented in 1947, has been a source of inspiration for contemporary fashion designers, as well as designers for the House of Dior, and has a great influence on them. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the aesthetic characteristics of Christian Dior's New Look and the New Look that Christian Dior House designers reinterpreted. The subject and the scope of this study were limited to Christian Dior and the New Look designed by Gianfranco $Ferr\acute{e}$, John Galliano, and Raf Simons who are regarded as worthy successors. The research method was a literature review on previous studies on Christian Dior and related literatures to examine the history of the House of Dior and the aesthetic characteristics of the New Look presented by Christian Dior. Then, an empirical study was conducted through the analysis of collection photographs from 1989 to 2016 that were gathered from the Mode et Mode and Hi Fashion, and websites (British Vogue, Firstview). The results of the study were as follows. First, the aesthetic characteristics of Christian Dior's New Look in 1947 used femininity to express an elegant and beautiful woman, structural property to render the contours of a woman's body, and innovation that changed the formal and gloomy social atmosphere in the post-war years. Second, the aesthetic characteristics of the New Look by Christian Dior were compared with those of the New Look made by designers for the House of Dior. The elegant femininity of Dior can be seen as gorgeous femininity, and sensual femininity, minimalistic femininity, structurality is represented by the spatial structurality of Dior and $Ferr\acute{e}$, the organic structure of Galliano, and the orthodox structure of Simons. Moreover, Dior's retro innovativeness appeared to be $Ferr\acute{e}^{\prime}s$ androgyny innovation, Galliano's deconstructive innovation, and Simons' romantic futuristic innovation.
