부산시 시간제 대체교사 지원사업에 대한 보육교직원의 인식 및 요구 (Recognition and Demand of Child Care Teachers for the Support Project for Part-Time Substitute Teachers in Busan)

  • Objective: This study aims to investigate the perception and demand of child care teachers regarding the support project for part-time substitute teachers in Busan. Methods: A survey was conducted on 6,141 childcare teachers participating in the Busan part-time substitute teacher support project, and the data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: First, an examination of the perception of part-time substitute teacher support projects based on the type of daycare center revealed significant differences in all aspects, except for whether they choose to reapply. Second, an analysis of the demand for part-time substitute teacher support projects, categorized by the type of daycare center, indicated significant differences. Conclusion/Implications: The findings of this study furnish valuable insights for the equitable and effective implementation of the part-time substitute teaching assistant support project, taking into account the distinct characteristics of various daycare centers. Additionally, the results offer essential foundational data to guide the strategic direction of the part-time substitute teaching assistant support project.

교사의 공감능력과 유아의 또래 유능성간의 관계에서 교사-유아관계의 매개효과 연구 (A Study on the Mediating Effect of Teacher-Child Relationship between Teacher's Empathy Ability and Child's Peer Competence)

  • Objective: This study examined the relationships among teachers' empathy ability, children's peer competence and teacher-child relationships. Methods: 180 teachers and 360 children from 3 to 5 years old were included in the study. The research variables were measured by teachers' self-report through questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and three-step mediated regression analysis. Results: First, teachers' empathy ability and teacher-child relationship showed significant differences according to teacher variables (age, marital status, parental status). And children's peer competence was significantly different according to gender. Second, intimacy which was a subfactor of teacher-child relationships showed a perfect mediating role in the association between teachers' empathy ability and peer competence. Conclusion/Implications: These results suggest the importance of teacher-child's intimate relationships since it affects the child's peer competence significantly. In this study, it was found that, in order to help foster the teacher's empathic ability and teacher-child relationships which have positive effects on the child's desirable peer formation, continuous teacher education and diverse studies are needed.

부모-교사 관계가 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Parent-Teacher Relationships on Mothers' Parenting Efficacy)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parent-teacher relationships on mothers' parenting efficacy especially for toddlers. Methods: 225 mothers of toddlers completed questionnaires on parent-teacher relationships and parenting efficacy. This study used technical statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis in order to analyze the collected data. Results: First, there was a significant correlation between parent-teacher relationships and mothers' parenting efficacy. Second, the parent-teacher relationships was an important factor in predicting mothers' parenting efficacy. In particular, when a teacher and mother develop practical collaboration for caring for and educating a child, the mothers' parenting efficacy was higher. Conclusion/Implications: These findings indicate that the parent-teacher relationship is a significant factor in order to improve the quality of parenting. The results especially support the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents and suggest that we need to find practical ways for collaborating in the field. Limitations of this study and implications for future research were discussed.

유아의 수줍음과 교사-유아 관계 간의 관계에 대한 유아 언어능력의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Children's Verbal Ability in the Relation Between a Child's Shyness and Teacher-Child Relationships in Kindergarten)

  • Objective: The purpose of the present study was to explore the moderating role of children's verbal ability in the relation between shyness and teacher-child relationships. Methods: Participants were 200 children, their mothers, and their kindergarten teachers. Children's shyness was rated by their mothers and teachers, and children's verbal ability was measured using the language problem solving ability test. And teachers completed a rating scale in order to examine the teacher-child relationship. The collected data were analyzed using correlations and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results: Children's shyness had a negative relation to close teacher-child relationships. And child's verbal ability was significantly related to teacher-child relationships. Hierachical regression analysis indicted to the interaction of child's shyness and verbal ability predicted close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness, those who demonstrated the lowest level of child's verbal ability, was significantly associated with close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness had no significant relation to close teacher-child relationships, especially for the highest level of children's verbal ability. Conclusion/Implications: We suggested that verbal ability training for children might be valuable for shy children in order to buffer the link between shyness and teacher-child relationships.

어린이집 유아반의 일과 유형분류 및 일과 유형별 교사행동에 관한 연구 (Classification of Daily Routine Types in Child Care Center and Teacher Behaviors Based on Daily Routine Types)

  • This study evaluated the types of daily routines that occurred in child care centers based on four general categorizations: time spent on indoor free choice activities, outdoor activities, group activities and special activities. In addition, resulting child care teacher behaviors were examined based on daily routine types. A total 23 classes' activity times and teacher behaviors were observed. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, hierarchical cluster, and Mann-Whitney U. Results indicated that there were 2 principle daily routine, 'indoor/outdoor activity time oriented' and 'group activity time oriented'. Analysis showed that teachers who belonged to the 'indoor/outdoor activity time oriented' type showed more positive affect, positive guidance, neural guidance, and less non-involved behavior. Results suggest the importance of time spent on free choice activities in the context of daily routine for quality childcare.

아동상담에 대한 보육교사와 유아기 어머니의 인식 및 요구 (The Child Care Teacher's and Mother's Recognition and Need about Child Counseling and Therapy)

  • The present study was to investigate child care teather's and parents's recognition and need about child counseling and to analyse differences between them. The subjects for this study were 244 child care teachers and 260 mothers of the day care centers. The major finding were as follows; Most child care teachers are aware of child counseling through lecture, pre-service education, and internet. Most mothers hear about child counseling through internet. They think that child counseling is very effective for young children, especially for negative experience and emotion. Most child care teachers think that they can administer child counseling. especially daycare centers. But mothers think that special facilities is the most appropriate place by child counseling. Child care teachers and mothers regard the credibility of human being as personal characteristics required for child counseling. Counseling specialists are to be the most appropriate person for followed by child care teather's and parents. And they think that special training is needed for child counseling. but few of them receive special training. They perceive the necessity of professional education in child counseling. but they rarely experience related education of child counseling. Especially, they feel lack of time and information. They also want to apply to child counseling children education after learning it through counseling association or by observing real situations in child counseling center using morning time or during weekends. Most mothers and child care teachers know play therapy, art therapy. bibliotherapy, sand play therapy.

어린이집 원장의 남자교사 채용 인식과 개선방안에 대한 포커스 집단 연구 (A Focus Group Interview Study on the Daycare Center Director's Recognition and Improvement of Male Teacher's Employment)

  • 본 연구에서는 포커스 집단 인터뷰를 통하여 어린이집 원장의 남자교사 채용에 관한 인식과 개선방안을 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 보육현장에서 남자교사를 채용하였거나 실습을 지도한 경험이 있는 어린이집 원장 8명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 자료수집방법으로는 포커스 집단 인터뷰 방법을 적용하였고 매회 2시간~2시간 30분 정도, 총 4회의 면담이 진행되었다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료를 통하여 분석해 본 결과 어린이집 원장의 남자교사 채용에 관한 인식은 (1) 다가올 어려움에 대한 막연한 두려움 (2) 보육현장 조직문화에서의 남자교사의 명과 암 등의 2가지 주제와 6개의 하위주제로 나타났다. 도출된 결과를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 다가올 어려움에 대한 막연한 두려움 주제에서는 '행정적인 불이익', '성과 관련된 사회적 분위기', '역할 수행에 대한 불확실성' 등의 하위주제를 도출하고, 보육현장에서의 남자교사의 명과 암 주제에서는 '여성중심의 조직 문화와 적응', '보육현장의 비전', '보육현장에서의 남자교사의 역할' 등의 하위 주제가 도출되었다. 다음으로 보육현장에서 남자교사의 채용을 위한 개선방안에 관해서는 보육현장으로 진입하기 위한 남자교사의 길의 주제가 도출되었는데, 이 주제에서는 '영유아 보육 경험 및 실습 기회 확대', '남자가 아닌 개인의 문제라는 인식으로의 전환', '남자로서의 장점 극대화', '시스템의 변화' 등의 4가지 하위주제가 도출되었다. 이는 무엇보다도 남자교사 채용을 위해서는 보육현장에서 교사 성불균형 문제를 해결해야 함을 시사하고 있다.

유아-교사 친밀관계 및 유아의 어린이집 적응 향상을 위한 집단치료놀이 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of a Group Theraplay Program for Enhancing Intimacy in Infant-Teacher Relationships and Adaptation to Child Care Centers)

  • 본 연구에서는 유아-교사 친밀관계 및 유아의 어린이집 적응 향상을 위한 집단치료놀이 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다. 만 2-3세 유아 16명이 연구에 참여하였으며 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 8명씩 배정되었다. 실험집단에는 매 회 45분, 주 2회씩, 총 10회기의 집단치료놀이를 실시하였고 통제집단에는 어떤 처치도 제공하지 않았다. 유아-교사 친밀관계(Pianta, 2001) 및 어린이집 적응(Jewsuwan, Luster & Kostelnik, 1993) 척도를 사용해 사전 사후검사를 실시하였다. 맨 휘트니 유 검정과 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검정을 실시하여 자료 분석 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사전검사에서 두 집단의 유아-교사 친밀관계는 동질적이었으나 사후검사에서는 실험집단의 유아-교사 친밀관계가 유의하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 사전검사에서 두 집단의 어린이집 적응 수준은 동질적이었으나 사후검사에서는 실험집단의 어린이집 적응 수준이 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론적으로, 집단치료놀이 프로그램은 유아-교사 친밀관계와 유아의 어린이집 적응 향상에 효과적이었다.

보육교사의 직무스트레스와 자기효능감 (A Job Stress and Self-Efficacy of Child Care Teachers)

  • The Teachers' Job Stress Scale(D'Arienzo, 1981) and the General Self-Efficacy Scale(Kim & Cho, 1996) were used to study 170 child care teachers. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, Pearson's partial correlation, stepwise multiple regression(forward), path analysis, Internal consistency(Cronbach's $\alpha$), and factor analysis. Results showed that job stress was low for teachers of the national child care center, university graduates, higher salaried, and married teachers. Self-efficacy was high among teachers with more than 2 years experience, married status, and previous experience. Correlation between teacher's job stress and self-efficacy was -.19. Self-efficacy and demographic variables for job stress explained 8~22% of the variability. Self-efficacy intermediated between job stress and demographic variables. Monthly salary directly affected job stress.

아동이 지각한 교사-아동 관계와 교사의 심리통제가 아동의 공격성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Teacher-Child Relationship and the Teacher's Psychological Control as Perceived by the Child on a Child's Aggression)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the teacher-child relationship and child's perception of the psychological control of teachers on a child's aggression. A total of 216 4th graders from Dongjak-gu and Gwanak-gu, Seoul, participated in this study. A multiple regression analysis and Pearson's correlation analysis were performed using the SPSS ver. 18.0 program. The results were as follows: first, there was a meaningful relationship between a teacher-child relationship, the teacher's psychological control and the child's aggression. Second, closeness between the teacher and the child could reduce the child's overt and relational aggression, while conflicts between the teacher and the child could increase the child's overt, relational, and overall aggression. The teacher's blame, limit of the child's self-expression, and guilt induction could increase the child's overt aggression. Further, the teacher's withdrawal of affection, emotional disapproval, blame, and limit of self-expression could increase the child's relational aggression. In particular, the teacher's blame appeared to influence both the child's overt aggression and the child's overall aggression, and the teacher's withdrawal of affection appeared to influence the child's relational aggression. These results suggest that the relationship between a teacher and a child is a matter of mutual contribution. In other words, the better the teacher-student relationship is, the greater is the decrease in the child's aggression. This study provides the basic data for the development of an aggression prevention program for elementary school children.
