무인교통단속장비 개선 및 구현 (Improvement and Implementation of Unmanned Traffic Enforcement Equipment)

  • 본 논문은 무인교통 단속장비 시스템을 개선하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 기존 무인교통 단속장비에 대하여 개선이 필요한 부분을 정리하고 최신 기술을 적용하여 개선할 수 있는 사항들을 도출하였다. 또한 도출된 개선 사항을 반영하여 새로운 무인교통 단속장비의 설계 및 구현방안을 제시하고자 한다. 주요 개선사항으로서 무인교통 단속장비의 하우징 소재 변경, 장비구성의 간소화, 무게의 경량화와 소프트웨어로 단속용도 변경이 가능하도록 설계 하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 개선된 무인교통 단속장비의 객관적 성능을 평가하기 위하여 공인인증기관에 의뢰하여 KC 인증 및 내구성 시험을 통한 장비의 신뢰도를 확보하였다. 기존 무인교통 단속장비와 공사기간 및 설치비용 등을 비교 평가하여 앞으로 무인교통 단속장비 시장성 확보의 당위성을 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper addresses the outlines of the traffic signal timing principles engaged in TRACS and the results of field test. Research team, encompassing research institute, university, and electronic company, conducted the three-year project for developing the new system, named TRACS(Traffic Adaptive Control System). The project was successfully completed in 1994. TRACS aims at accomplishing the objectives of better traffic adaptability and more reliable travel time prediction. TRACS operates in real-time adjusting signal timings throughout the system in response to variations in traffic demand and system capacity. The purpose of TRACS is to control traffic on an area basis rather than on an isolated intersection basis. An other purpose of TRACS is to provide real-time road traffic information such as volume, speed, delay , travel time, and so on. The performance of the first version of TRACS was compared to the conventional TOD control through field test. The test result was promi ing in that TRACS consistantly outperformed the conventional control method. The change of signaltiming reacted timely to the variation of traffic demand. Extensive operational test of TRACS will be conducted this year, and some functions will be enhanced.

지역 중심지의 역할 변화와 지리적 관성 -전라북도 정읍시 칠보 지역을 사례로- (The Role Change and Geographical Inertia of Central Places : A Case Study Chil-Bo Area, Jeon-Buk)

  • 지방행정의 통치 단위인 군현 지역 내에서 한 장소가 중심지로 선정되고 발전하는 것은, 해당 지역의 자연적 조건과 사회적 상황의 결합에 의한 것이다. 이러한 중심지는 사회적 상황 변화에 따라 그 역할이 변화하지만, 역할 변화에도 불구하고 중심지로서의 지리적 관성을 지니게 된다. 본 연구에서는 행정 중심지로서 역할을 수행했던 칠보 지역을 사례로, 중심지의 역할 변화와 지리적 관성 유지의 특성을 살펴보았다. 그 결과는 첫째, 시대에 따라 중심지의 역할이 변화했다. 이 지역은 삼국시대에는 국방 행정 교통의 중심지였으나, 삼국의 통일과 함께 국방 중심지로서의 역할이 사라졌다. 고려시대에 들어서면서 교통축의 변화로 교통 중심지 기능도 상실되었고, 결국 행정 중심지의 기능 상실로 이어졌다. 둘째, 외부 인물과 그 지역 내부 인물의 결합에 의해서 중심성이 유지되었다. 최치원, 정극인, 신잠 등의 외부 인물과 송세림, 정언충, 김약묵, 김관 등의 내부 인물에 의해 행정 중심 기능이 아닌 새로운 유교 문화와 교육의 중심지로서 지리적 관성을 유지했다. 셋째, 중심지의 역할 변화에 따라 미시적으로 지역 내에서 중심지의 입지 이동이 있었다. 시산리의 송산 마을에서 남전 마을 그리고 무성리의 원촌 마을로 중심 장소가 이동되었다.

  • Recently, marine traffic engineering has been developed until that possible to estimate a change in traffic flow caused from some transformations of the traffic condition and to assess whether changed traffic condition is can be accepted as a useful thing in navigation or not by compute simulation. This paper's main substance is assessment of the present marine traffic safety at these area adjacent to Pusan harbor. Also in this study, it was carried out in order to be convinced of validity of round about TSS to expect changing in traffic flows by the institution of round about TSS and to assess expected traffic flows by using Environmental Stress assessment model.

교통 신호등과 비전 센서의 위치 관계 분석을 통한 이미지에서 교통 신호등 검출 방법 (Traffic Light Detection Method in Image Using Geometric Analysis Between Traffic Light and Vision Sensor)

  • In this paper, a robust traffic light detection method is proposed by using vision sensor and DGPS(Difference Global Positioning System). The conventional vision-based detection methods are very sensitive to illumination change, for instance, low visibility at night time or highly reflection by bright light. To solve these limitations in visual sensor, DGPS is incorporated to determine the location and shape of traffic lights which are available from traffic light database. Furthermore the geometric relationship between traffic light and vision sensor is used to locate the traffic light in the image by using DGPS information. The empirical results show that the proposed method improves by 51% in detection rate for night time with marginal improvement in daytime environment.

  • 홈 네트워크에서 다양한 응용(application) 트래픽(traffic) 간의 차등화 된 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 트래픽 변화에 따라 적응적으로 우선순위(priority)를 재할당하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, FPGA를 이용하여 구현하였다. 제안된 구조는 QoS를 위한 부가적인 시그널링 프로토콜이 없이도 네트워크 트래픽 조절이 가능하도록 설계되었고, 또한 홈 네트워크 트래픽을 그 특징에 따라 제어 데이터 트래픽, 일반 인터넷이나 데이터 트래픽, 그리고 멀티미디어 데이터 트래픽으로 분류하고 이를 네트워크 트래픽 상황에 적응적으로 차등화 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제시한 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하고 FPGA구현을 통하여 실현가능성을 제시하였다.

바닥재 마모에 따른 미끄럼 저항 변화 (The Variation of the Slip Resistance with Wear of Floor)

  • All most of floors can become less slip resistant with wear. The deterioration of slip resistance can often occur rapidly. So relatively new products can become hazardous within a short period of time. The main objective of this study was the comparison of slip resistance variations caused by traffic wear and accelerative wear. The second objective was to ascertain the effect of wear, and to find out the causes of slip resistance change. Although statistical differences were observed between results of traffic wear and accelerative wear, the trend of the variations of slip resistance caused by traffic wear and accelerative wear was very similar. The measured slip resistance of tested floor changed up to 29%(and 26.5%) after 100,000 steps(and 750 cycles). As the traffic wear and accelerative wear were progressed, the surface roughness of the tested floor became smoother, and so the floor became more slippery under the wet condition. The abraded(worn out) floor surface tended to become hydrophilic surface, while the new floor surface tended to show hydrophobic nature. This phenomenon would change the wettability of floor surface, and the wettability would affect the variation of slip resistance.

시간별 교통량 변화에 따른 환경오염지도(대기 및 소음) 구축방안에 관한 연구 (Hourly Environmental Pollution (Air Pollution and Noise) Mapping Method by the Traffic Volume Change)

  • Air pollution and traffic noise from roads distributed near residential area has been a major social problem. In this study, an environmental pollution map for a residential area of Shihung-city was made by an expectation model based on hourly traffic volume change. Using the result from the model, a plan to reduce population in the residential area was established. The result of the modelling is summarized as follows: 1. At peak traffic hours (18 o'clock), 301-500 degree in hazardous and $d_{25}$ degree (25% of the residents are suffering extremely from the noise) in noise pollution were predicted in Jeongwang Main Road in Shihung city. 2. The calculated critical pollutant standard index, PSI showed the air pollution level, especially PM-10 high enough to require re-entrainment. 3. It was expected air pollution would extensively extend over the area distribution of each degree. However, noise pollution problem was limited to the area near roads.

혼잡 교통류에서의 V2V 기반 Cut-In 차량 양보 거동 계획 알고리즘 (V2V based Cut-In Vehicle Yield Algorithm for Congested Traffic Autonomous Driving)

  • This paper presents motion planning algorithm that yields to intervening side lane vehicles in a congested traffic flow based on vehicle to vehicle (V2V) communication. Autonomous driving in dense traffic situation requires advanced driving performance in terms of vehicle interaction and risk mitigation. One of the most important functions necessary for congested traffic autonomous driving is to predict the lane change intention of the side lane target vehicle. However, implementing this function by using only environmental sensors has limitations. In this study, V2V communication is used to overcome the limitations and determine the intention of cut-in vehicles. Lane change intention of the intervening side lane vehicle is inferred by its longitudinal speed, steering angle, and turn signal light information received by the on-board-unit (OBU). Once the yield decision is made, the subject vehicle decelerates to generate sufficient clearance for the target vehicle to enter. Validation of the algorithm was conducted with actual autonomous test vehicles.

  • In order to shorten head-way time on existing railway lines without any change of signal block length between stations, it is a realistic optional way to change the control method of train signal, i.e. to modernize the cab signal using transponder. A new signalling system of operation pattern control technique is suggested as new model to increase the railway traffic efficiency. Through the computer simulation of this model, the train head-way time by the fixed signalling system and the new pattern control system is analyzed.
