  • The strength of concrete depends on factors of materials, composition and manufacturing method. Among these factors, preparatory experiments are to consider and analyze the factors on compressive strength of ultra-high strength concrete according to types of aggregate, binder content, water-binder ratio, and curing methods. And the final experiment to develop the ultra-high strength over 3,000kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ is based on these preparatory experiments. As the result of this final expriment. We could manufacture the ultra-high strength concrete with a marvelous compressive strength concrete with a marvelous compressive strength of 3,116kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. This study is to compare and analyze the manufacturing system of ultra-high strength concrete of 3,116kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ compressive strength in the side of material development of construction industry.

  • This study considered movie costumes shown in 'Alice In Wonderland' by Tim Burton based on the Theory of Fantasy in Literature by Tzvetan Todorov and Rosemary Jackson. The research method used was a case study on expression types of fantasy used in movie costumes with a literature research based on the Theory of Fantasy in Literature. The Theory of Fantasy in Literature has significance in suggesting a new theoretical approach for understanding a visual perspective and aesthetic characteristics shown in fashion as well as movie costumes. The conclusions of the study are as follows. First, fantasy can connote characteristics of the marvelous, the uncanny, and the imitative through a consideration of Theory of Fantasy in Literature. Second, the marvelous is what is not beautiful, not ugly, but is strange and surprising, and what escapes from the existing norm. The characteristics of the marvelous in movie costumes are expressed through cross-dressing or displayed by allowing the personified animal to wear clothes. Third, the uncanny is something that causes grotesque, disgusting, comic and recreational responses. The characteristics of the uncanny in movie costumes are expressed through exaggerating and artificially transforming the body. Fourth, the imitative is the property of trying to imitate or follow other things. The characteristics of the imitative in movie costumes are indicated by dismantling and expanding a form through borrowing costumes from various ages.

  • The fantastic has had various semantic layers between 'the Marvelous' and 'the Uncanny', these has been assorted by historical and synchronic aspects. The Marvelous has been harmonious and abundant world of fantasy which includes metaphysical system and all tradition of magical fence. The Uncanny has been a subversive fantasy world which shows absurdity and negative truths of this very world by modern consciousness. In comics, because of the media features, it is more useful the fantastic than the realistic. However, the relationship about comic and fantasy has rarely discussed in detail. So we has wanted to understand the specificities of affiliation with the Marvelous and with the Uncanny. Then it has been necessary to check the works of You, Sijin the comic book writer, for we ought to know how the affiliations with fantasy could influence each works' styles, and themes. You, Sijin started her works with sensibility of uncanny, but she tried to develop the theme "uptight" and devoted to establish "the Secondary World" stably. However, at Shin Meoung Ki(神明記) fantasy world overwhelmed the theme. After that, in The Closer and On, she crashed down the uptight feeing and made new self-consciousness by mixed fantasy style. The Closer and On has been the turning point of writer You, Sijin. Since than her works has showed a propensity for the Uncanny.

  • This research was analyzed regarding comparing features of expressions between clothes in movie, , and cyber clothes that were made by Marvelous Designer2 which is a design CAD. This research was studied to experiment an expressing possibility of clothes simulation software which was developed currently. Therefore, we picked clothes that are good at movement and detail in the movie. The dress theory of the renaissance which is the period background of movie, was considered and studied as pattern, silhouette, material, color, detail and animation. The movie's dresses are made with 3D virtual and compared so 3D virtual clothes's benefits and weaknesses can be analyzed. As a result, we found that 3D virtual dress can show the real movie's feature accordingly with current developed IT standard. This will assist a development in fashion industry and become a new indicator for 3D movie clothing.

  • The idea of King Hungdok's prohibition of clothing was to restrict the use of chinese-made cloth on the one hand and to compell his people to use Korean-made cloth for their apparel on the other. The prohibition of clothing sprang from King Hungdok's aspiration to restore his dynasty that had been falling due to the repeated drought disaster and luxurious living of the aristocracy. Safflower, Rubeaceae roots and Sapan wood are well known as some of the earliest natural red-dyes, exhibiting beautiful red-color in our anciet cultural tradition. The color yellow was considered from ancient time to the Chosun Dynasty as the central color. Thus, this color became the royal color for the costumes in the palace. Those plants used to make the color yellow are: Gardenia, phellodendron amurense, Turmeric, coptis, safflower, Arthraxon hispidus, Styphnolobium japonicum. Shikon, root of violet plant, is well known as one of the earliest natural days. By repeating the difficult process of making various dyes constantly during many centuries, the Korean people developed the marvelous technique of making natural color.

  • Diamond like carbon(DLC) thin films possesed not only marvelous material charateristics such as large thermal conductivity, high hardness and being chemically inert, but also possesed negative electron affinity(NEA) properties. The NEA is an extremely desirable property of the material used in microelestronics and vacuum microelestronics device. DLC films were fabricated by pulsed laser deposition(PLD). The effect of the laser energy density and the substrate temperature on the properies of DLC films was investigated. The experiment was accomplished at temperatures in the range of room temperature to $400^{\circ}C$. The laser energy density was in the range of $6 J/cm^2$ to $16 J/cm^2$.
