  • Convergence between telecom and broadcasting is today a worldwide phenomenon. Diverse services like VoD, mobile broadcasting, IPTV and interactive services have already made their market debut or are currently being commercialized. Regulatory systems are also being revised to appropriately regulate this new breed of services. We propose the new model of educational broadcasting system using the internet network, it is not different conventional coaxial cable methods. Especially, we design the multicast method of the network using the limited channel and resource, propose the method of intercommunication in the school between the broadcasting system and database system.

Early Stages in Morphogenesis of the Shell of Crenella decussata (Bivalvia: Mytilidae)

  • This study examines the morphological features of larval and postlarval shells of the paedomorphic bivalve Crenella decussata Montagu, 1808 from the Sea of Japan. During the early morphogenesis of the shell of C. decussata the following characteristics appear: prodissoconch I -the anterior and posterior provincular teeth, a broad primary ligament pit located on the chondrophore; nepioconch - the anterior and posterior juvenile teeth,primary lateral teeth, fine commarginal and radial sculpture. Larvae of C. decussata distinctly differ from other mytilid larvae by a D-shaped shell, absence of umbo, astraight hinge margin, and homogeneous fine-grained sculpture without co-marginal lines of growth. These shell characters indicate lecithotrophic development of this species. Some morphostructures are revealed which might be used in crenellin taxonomy.

  • Although there is no strict definition of a power semiconductor device, a general description is a semiconductor that has capability to control more than 1 W of electricity. Integrated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs), which are power semiconductors, are widely used in voltage ranges above 300 V and are especially popular in high-efficiency, high-speed power systems. In this paper, the size of the gate was adjusted to test the variation in the yield voltage characteristics by measuring the electric field concentration under the trench gate. After the experiment Synopsys' TCAD was used to analyze the efficiency of threshold voltage, on-state voltage drop, and breakdown voltage by measuring the P- region and its size under the gate.

  • This study presents a single-phase power factor correction AC-DC converter that operates in discontinuous conduction mode. This converter uses the pulse-width modulation technique to achieve almost unity power factor and low total harmonic distortion of input current for universal input voltage $90V_{rms}$ to $264V_{rms}$) applications. The converter has a simple structure and electrical isolation. The magnetizing-inductor energy of the transformer can be recycled to the output without an additional third winding. The steady-state analysis of voltage gain and boundary operating conditions are discussed in detail. Finally, experimental results are shown to verify the performance of the proposed converter.

On Conditions of Phytoplankton Blooms in the Coastal Waters of the North-Western East/Japan Sea

  • Seasonal changes of abundance of the main phytoplankton groups of species (diatoms, dinoflagellates, chrysophytes, small flagellates and cryptophytes) and a set of environmental parameters were investigated in coastal and pre-estuarine waters of Peter the Great Bay (East/Japan Sea) in May-October of 1998 and 1999. Three periods of mass development were revealed: spring, summer and autumn blooms, with successive change of species. The conditions favourable for each group of species were determined. Driving mechanisms of the succession include nutrients transport through seasonal pycnocline by turbulent mixing, terrestrial nutrients supply by monsoon floods, nutrients supply by upwellings, and light control by the thickness of upper mixed layer. Summer succession could be explained by a simple SST-MLD diagram similar to Pingree S-kh diagram with sea surface temperature as indicator of stratification (S) and mixed layer depth as indicator of light availability (kh).

  • The most recently IGBT (insulated gate bipolar mode transistor) devices are in the most current conduction capable devices and designed to the big switching power device. Use this number of the devices are need to high voltage and low on-state voltage drop. And then in this paper design of field stop IGBT is insert N buffer layer structure in NPT planar IGBT and optimization design of field stop IGBT and trench field stop IGBT, both devices have a comparative analysis and reflection of the electrical characteristics. As a simulation result, trench field stop IGBT is electrical characteristics better than field stop IGBT.

  • This paper aims to analyze the status and prospects of chinese e-commerce, review previous literature, and provide future direction for cooperation with far east asian area This study deals with the reform, the open and entering WTO of China economy to suddenly change domestic IT industry, legal regulation of Chinese e-commerce market and cooperation with far east asian area. Especially, Chinese e-commerce market is much developed in recently, but relative legal system is unsatisfactory. Therefore this paper research firstly the present conditions and characteristics of Chinese e-commerce market, secondly Chinese e-commerce policy and legal regulation tendency, thirdly the e-commerce activity between Korea and China, and cooperation with far east asian area.

  • Gas-permeable metal die materials are developed using tool steel powder, packed in a mold having the insertion of orthogonally arrayed polymer wires. Linear gas-permeable channels in orthogonal array are thus developed by the burning out of the polymer wires, which yield a microstructure with wear resistance value and air permeability much larger than those of the conventional gas-permeable die material.

  • Reports have a significant meaning in time-constrained large transaction environments, such as airplane control systems or wargame simulations. This is due to the necessity of generating reports within a limited scope of time without restraining the operation performance of large transaction environments. In order to generate reports in large transaction environments while satisfying time - constrained requirements, this paper propose a model which combines the incremental operation mechanism and materialized view mechanism using triggers and stored procedures. Further, the implementation and evaluation of the preposed model provides analysis for model characteristics.
