This study examined the anti-microbiological effects of chlorine treatment on the surface of fresh fruits, in order to improve microbiological safety in school foodservice operations. Non-peeled fruit(strawberries) and peeled fruit(bananas) were treated with different concentrations of chlorinated water and rinsing numbers, followed by microbiological testing. The fruits were immersed at different concentrations of chlorinated water(0 ppm, 50 ppm, and 100 ppm) and durations(3 min and 5 min), and were then rinsed with tap water(one time, two times, or three times). The total viable cell counts of both the strawberries and bananas ranged from $10^3$ CFU/g to $10^4$ CFU/g, and coliform levels ranged from $10^2$ CFU/g to $10^3$ CFU/g. As the chlorine concentration, immersion time, and rinsing number increased, anti-microbiological activity increased. The largest microbial reduction was shown with immersion for 5 min in 100 ppm chlorinated water and three rinsings. In the strawberries, this treatment reduced the initial population of total viable cells and coliforms by 3.29 log CFU/g and to an undetectable level, respectively, no total viable cells or coliforms were detected on the banana surface following this treatment. However, after a sterilization treatment with immersion for 5 min in 50 ppm chlorinated water and three rinsings, the total viable cell counts and coliform counts of the strawberries and bananas decreased to acceptable levels, based on the microbiological standards for ready-to-eat foods. Overall, it was shown that the sterilization treatment of 50 ppm chlorinated water, soaking for 5 min, and three rinsings provided an effective reduction in surface microbes, and enhanced the microbiological safety of the fruit.
Sprinkler installations shall be operated at normal operating temperature of the atmosphere as a fire sprinkler head in any facility to control and extinguish the fire when the fire initially. Recently, however, some flush type quick response automatic sprinkler heads in slow fire place is a problem that can not be normal operation are raised. In this paper, by using the experimental model of the Apartment house of Commons and Cabinet burner size bedrooms fire conditions to form a slow growth rate and can supply more than 0.2 MPa pressure is the minimum pressure that can be applied inside the pipe in the field experiment was conducted. In the majority of experiments lush type quick response automatic sprinkler heads which is used in the country it was confirmed to be incompletely opened as the Cold Soldering occur. This phenomenon is likely to fail early fire suppression and control because they can cause the spread of fire and casualties needed to complement domestic product testing and type approval standards through additional research.
Composite rotor blades for rotorcraft have an intrinsic vulnerability to foreign object impact from its inherent structural characteristics of insufficient strength in the thickness direction, which may easily lead to internal structure damage. Therefore, defects and strength reducing effects caused by foreign object impact should be considered in fatigue evaluation of composite blades. For this purpose, the flaw tolerant safe-life and fail-safe concepts were adopted in fatigue evaluation since 1980s, and recently those concepts have been replaced by the damage tolerance concept. In this paper, the relevant standards for fatigue evaluation are analyzed focusing on fiber reinforced composite rotor blades used in rotorcraft. In addition, fatigue evaluation procedure of composite blades considering impact damages is proposed by reviewing the practices implemented through domestic development projects.

There are many types of national and international standards for low temperature tests depending on the products. This study conducted CFD analysis and estimation of the energy efficiency of the chamber both with and without a test object by considering variations of COP and specific volume according to temperature. The supply air was located in the upper area to compare the cooling performance for each location using various outlets in mixed ventilated conditions. For cases without the test object, the air temperature of the upper supply and center extract on the opposite side type chamber cooled faster than other areas by 4.3~29.8%. However, for cases with the test object, the object temperature of the upper supply and lower extract type chamber cooled faster than the other areas by 7.2~31.5%. The cooling efficiency of the air inside the chamber and the test object did not show the same pattern, which indicates the need to consider the cooling performance by not only the air but also the test object in the cryogenic chamber design for testing.
In this study, a standardized test method to analyze tensile properties of multi-directional GFRP plate was proposed. Presently, tensile strength test of FRP composite reinforced with isotropic and orthotropic fiber is standardized according to ISO standard. Also, even though many studies were performed on test method to analyze the dynamic properties, the properties of tensile strength for multi-directional GFRP plate were not clearly identified. Currently, the domestic test method in accordance with ASTM, which is applicable to unidirectional FRP plate, gave tensile test results greater than actual properties. Thus, in this study, GFRP tensile test was conducted using the method found to be commonly applicable to all standards based on literature review of domestic and international references. Then, anchorage length experiments were performed using the proposed tension test method to evaluate validity of the method. Finally, optimal anchorage length was estimated from the numerical analysis to propose the standardized tensile strength method for GFRP multi-directional composite evaluation.

The prediction of the actual ultimate capacity of confined concrete columns requires partial confinement utilization under eccentric loading. This is attributed to the reduction in compression zone compared to columns under pure axial compression. Modern codes and standards are introducing the need to perform extreme event analysis under static loads. There has been a number of studies that focused on the analysis and testing of concentric columns. On the other hand, the augmentation of compressive strength due to partial confinement has not been treated before. The higher eccentricity causes smaller confined concrete region in compression yielding smaller increase in strength of concrete. Accordingly, the ultimate eccentric confined strength is gradually reduced from the fully confined value $f_{cc}$ (at zero eccentricity) to the unconfined value $f^{\prime}_c$ (at infinite eccentricity) as a function of the ratio of compression area to total area of each eccentricity. This approach is used to implement an adaptive Mander model for analyzing eccentrically loaded columns. Generalization of the 3D moment of area approach is implemented based on proportional loading, fiber model and the secant stiffness approach, in an incremental-iterative numerical procedure to achieve the equilibrium path of $P-{\varepsilon}$ and $M-{\varphi}$ response up to failure. This numerical analysis is adapted to assess the confining effect in rectangular columns confined with conventional lateral steel. This analysis is validated against experimental data found in the literature showing good correlation to the partial confinement model while rendering the full confinement treatment unsafe.
The goal of this study is to help for the utilization the national pharmacists test through the analysis of item development management to the foreign pharmacists examination. The United States is going to NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) initiative under the curriculum in question on the basis of this assessment and develop standards and unified, systematic system to conduct tests pharmacist. Practice oriented (patient scenario, the participation of a pharmacist or perform work, clinical practice) examination is doing in Canada, The UK is asking the for more than 70 percent and the prescription needed for actual calculation in practice prior to testing program, and by the including that allows references use. Our country may introduce the job as a clinical pharmacist, positively. Item management system is integrated into four regions based on the six-year curriculum should be done in harmony proportion of each region. Integration of fusion of each region in accordance with the duties should be come out. It has gradually been able to item management system developed by the United States or Canada. This item notice pharmacist judging the results of the work must be carried out for management upgrading to a form of management with an emphasis on clinical practice in developed countries. Foundation design, development, production and management and test after actively reviewing ways to improve management system for to management systems, a pharmacist to improve the quality of the national examination could be contributing are involved.
The vertical static stiffness of rail pads or baseplate pads, which are important components in rail fastening systems for track safety, is a key factor to determine the total track stiffness and a guideline of quality control in the manufacturing process. The vertical static stiffness can be checked by laboratory testing: test methods are EN 13146-9 and KRS TR 0014, which are widely used in the railway field. In this paper, to correct some problems, namely the preloading step, the unloading level, and the holding time in the loading program in the vertical static stiffness test of EN 13146-9 and KRS TR 0014, domestic and foreign test standards of pads were analyzed and then certain schemes for a vertical static stiffness test were proposed. To assess the reliability of the proposed schemes, the vertical static stiffness tests were performed with 4 pads and the validity of the test results was estimated.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate measurement properties of self-report questionnaires for studies published in Korean nursing journals. Methods: Of 424 Korean nursing articles initially identified, 168 articles met the inclusion criteria. The methodological quality of the measurements used in the studies and interpretability were assessed using the COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN) checklist. It consists of items on internal consistency, reliability, measurement error, content validity, construct validity including structural validity, hypothesis testing, cross-cultural validity, and criterion validity, and responsiveness. For each item of the COSMIN checklist, measurement properties are rated on a four-point scale: excellent, good, fair, and poor. Each measurement property is scored with worst score counts. Results: All articles used the classical test theory for measurement properties. Internal consistency (72.6%), construct validity (56.5%), and content validity (38.2%) were most frequently reported properties being rated as 'excellent' by COSMIN checklist, whereas other measurement properties were rarely reported. Conclusion: A systematic review of measurement properties including interpretability of most instruments warrants further research and nursing-focused checklists assessing measurement properties should be developed to facilitate intervention outcomes across Korean studies.

Statement of problem. In dentistry, the minimally prepared inlay resin-bonded fixed partial denture (FPD) made of new ceromer / fiber-reinforced composite (FRC) was recently introduced. However, the appropriate dimensions for the long-term success and subsequent failure strength are still unknown. Purpose. The aim of this study was to investigate the most fracture-resistible thickness combination of the ceromer / FRC using a universal testing machine and an AE analyzer. Material and Methods. A metal jig considering the dimensions of premolars and molars was milled and 56-epoxy resin dies, which had a similar elastic modulus to that of dentin, were duplicated. According to manufacturer's instructions, the FRC beams with various thicknesses (2 to 4 mm) were constructed and veneered with the 1 or 2 mm-thick ceromers. The fabricated FPDs were luted with resin cement on the resin dies and stored at room temperature for 72 hours. AE (acoustic emission) sensors were attached to both ends, the specimens were subjected to a compressive load until fracture at a crosshead speed of 0.5 mm/min. The AE and failure loads were recorded and analyzed statistically. Results. The results showed that the failure strength of the ceromer/FRC inlay FPDs was affected by the total thickness of the connectors rather than the ceromer to FRC ratio or the depth of the pulpal wall. Fracture was initiated from the interface and propagated into the ceromer layer regardless of the change in the ceromer / FRC ratio. Conclusion. Within the limitations of this study, the failure loads showed significant differences only in the case of different connector thicknesses, and no significant differences were found between the same connector thickness groups. The application of AE analysis method in a fiber-reinforced inlay FPD can be used to evaluate the fracture behavior and to analyze the precise fracture point.
