태권도선수들의 체력요인에 의한 경기력 결정요인 평가 (Evaluation of Athletic Performance for Taekwondo Players by Physical Fitness Components)

  • 본 논문은 남자고등학교 태권도선수들의 체력요인에 의한 경기력 결정요인을 규명하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 남자고등학교 태권도선수 50명을 대상으로 선정된 8가지의 체력검사를 실시하였다. 구체적으로 이 연구에서 실시한 체력검사는 악력, 제자리높이뛰기, 윗몸앞으로 굽히기, 윗몸일으키기, 눈감고 외발서기, 10m 왕복달리기, 52m 달리기, 1600m 달리기이다. 이들 체력요인 측정결과를 토대로 요인분석 방법을 적용하여 요인구조를 분석하였다.

The Impact of Product Distribution and Information Technology on Carbon Emissions and Economic Growth: Empirical Evidence in Korea

  • The paper deals with the impact of the product distribution and information technology sectors on energy resource use, carbon emissions and economic growth by examining the long-run equilibrium relationships and Granger causal relationships among these variables in South Korea. The quarterly time series data from the first quarter of 1970 to the third quarter of 2010 (163 observations) are collected and retrieved from the Bank of Korea database. The paper examines the long-run equilibrium relationships using cointegration techniques and Granger causality using vector error correction models. Test results indicate a long-run equilibrium relationship exists among these variables. In testing directional causality, both the product distribution and the information technology sectors show direct effects on economic growth but only marginal effects on carbon emissions.

Numerical Evaluation of the Strut Interference and the 3-Run Image method for Wind Tunnel Tests

  • In order to correct the strut interference in wind tunnel tests, image methods are conventionally used. Because of their excessive extra runs, some alternatives have been tried to reduce the extra runs. In this study, these alternatives were reviewed and checked by the strut interference evaluation with the panel code, CMARC. The present work shows that the strut interference is free from neither model configuration nor model attitude. This dependency makes the alternatives to the image method unfeasible. The 3-run image method was also evaluated. It worked well even for the exaggerated windshield. At this point, reducing the image runs by neglecting parameters affecting minor influence would be best.

Low Point 모니터링 장비의 개발 (Development in Equipment of Low Point Marking Machine Control System)

  • Even the domestically small-and medium-sized companies progressed development in the monitoring equipment of inspecting run out in steel wheel aiming to supply and generalize through developing the monitoring equipment for securing quality technology and enhancing quality-test level. Run-Out value in vehicle wheel was measured with Computer & Servo system by using Low-Point marking machine control system, which is this development product. Low-Point value was operated and calculated. It marked by revolving wheel as much as the demanded measurement value based on 1ST harmony curve. Thus, the shipment of inferior product, which occurs in the measurement by the existing worker, could be blocked in advance. In the existing case, 60 sec. was required for inspecting 1 product. However, it came to bring about a rise in production volume through shortening inspection time to 8 seconds and improving workers' operating environment.

A Twin Symbol Encoding Technique Based on Run-Length for Efficient Test Data Compression

  • Recent test data compression techniques raise concerns regarding power dissipation and compression efficiency. This letter proposes a new test data compression scheme, twin symbol encoding, that supports block division skills that can reduce hardware overhead. Our experimental results show that the proposed technique achieves both a high compression ratio and low-power dissipation. Therefore, the proposed scheme is an attractive solution for efficient test data compression.

  • 보드에 장착된 소자들을 테스트하기위해 제안된 IEEE 1149.1 시험 구조는 입력으로 TDI 핀을 사용하고 출력으로 TDO 핀을 사용하는 커다란 직렬 쉬프트 레지스터이다. IEEE 1149.1은 보드 수준에서의 테스트는 완벽하게 수행하지만 보드가 시스템에 장착되고 난 후의 수행 중인 시스템 수준에서의 실시간 동작클럭 속도로의 테스트에는 문제가 있다. 즉시험대상 핀의 실시간 동작신호를 시험하기 위하여 직렬 시프트 레지스트 체인들의 출력속도를 동작 클럭의 쉬프트레지스터 배수 이상의 속도로 작동 하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 시스템 클럭과 동일한 속도로 실시간 신호를 캡쳐하기 위한 실시간 신호 시험 구조를 설계하고 시험 절차를 제안하였다. 제안한 실시간 신호 시험 구조를 Altera의 Max+Plus 10.0을 사용하여 제안한 시험 절차에 따라 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 제안한 시험구조가 정확히 동작함을 확인하였다.

한-중-일 수출입의 대체·보완성에 관한 실증분석 (Empirical Analysis on the Substitutability or Complementary Nature of Export and Import among Korea, China, and Japan)

  • 한-중-일 3국간 무역형태는 각국의 산업구조 변화를 반영하여 무역수지가 고착화되고 또한 상호간 수출입 품목의 우선순위도 조정되어 왔다. 따라서 이와 같은 무역환경을 감안하여 새로운 형태의 무역정책을 수립 및 시행하는 것이 중요한 경제현안으로 부상하게 되었다. 본 연구는 공적분추정과 오차수정모형을 활용하여 한국, 중국, 및 일본간 수출입의 대체 보완성을 실증적으로 분석하려는 시도이다. 실증분석결과에 의하면 한-중-일 3국간 수출입의 경우 단기적으로는 보완관계를 유지하면서 상호간의 수출증대에 기여하는 측면이 있지만, 장기적으로는 한-중-일 3국 모두 대체관계를 형성하고 있어서 상호간의 수출을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 우리나라 무역정책의 경우 단기적으로는 시장에 의존하는 수출입 정책을 채택해도 무리가 없겠지만 장기적으로는 중국이나 일본과의 무역에서 대체관계에 따른 수출 감소에 대비할 수 있는 정책을 수행하여야 할 것이다. 즉, 한-중-일 3국간 무역에서 단기적으로는 기존의 산업구조를 바탕으로 시장에 영향을 미치는 환율정책이나 무역정책을 중심으로 운용해도 무리가 없겠지만 중장기적으로 무역구조에 영향을 미치는 산업구조의 개편이나 한-중-일 3국간 FTA 체결 등은 대체관계를 고려해서 추진하여야 할 것이다.

Meta-analysis of Excision Repair Cross-complementation Group 1 (ERCC1) Association with Response to Platinum-based Chemotherapy in Ovarian Cancer

  • Recent studies suggested that the ovarian cancers with negative excision repair cross-complementation group 1 enzyme (ERCC1) expression have a better response to platinum-based chemotherapy than those with positive ERCC1 expression. The objective of this study was to evaluate whether ERCC1 expression is associated with response to platinum-based chemotherapy in ovarian cancers. MEDLINE, PubMed, Web of Science and CNKI databases were used for searching studies relating to ERCC1 protein expression and response to platinum-based chemotherapy in ovarian cancers. Statistical analysis was based on the method for a fixed effects meta-analysis. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals for ERCC1 protein expression and response to platinum-based chemotherapy were generated. Publication bias was investigated with Begg's test. Five studies involving 306 patients with ovarian cancer were included. Compared to patients with positive ERCC1 expression, those with negative ERCC1 expression had a better response to platinum-based chemotherapy. The pooled OR was 5.264 (95% CI: 2.928-9.464, P < 0.001) and publication bias was not found (P = 0.904). The result was similar in both in Asians and Caucasians (P < 0.001 and P = 0.028, respectively). ERCC1 protein expression status is significantly associated with response to platinum-based chemotherapy in ovarian cancers.

Carbon dioxide emissions, GDP per capita, industrialization and population: An evidence from Rwanda

  • The study makes an attempt to investigate the causal nexus between carbon dioxide emissions, GDP per capita, industrialization and population with an evidence from Rwanda by employing a time series data spanning from 1965 to 2011 using the autoregressive distributed lag model. Evidence from the study shows that carbon dioxide emissions, GDP per capita, industrialization and population are co-integrated and have a long-run equilibrium relationship. Evidence from the Granger-causality shows a unidirectional causality running from industrialization to GDP per capita, population to carbon dioxide emissions, population to GDP per capita and population to industrialization. Evidence from the long-run elasticities has policy implications for Rwanda; a 1% increase in GDP per capita will decrease carbon dioxide emissions by 1.45%, while a 1% increase in industrialization will increase carbon dioxide emissions by 1.64% in the long-run. Increasing economic growth in Rwanda will therefore reduce environmental pollution in the long-run which appears to support the validity of the environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis. However, industrialization leads to more emissions of carbon dioxide, which reduces environment, health and air quality. It is noteworthy that the Rwandan Government promotes sustainable industrialization, which improves the use of clean and environmentally sound raw materials, industrial process and technologies.

실린더 형상에 따른 Wave Run-up 현상에 대한 연구 (Study on Wave Run-Up Phenomenon over Vertical Cylinder)

  • In this paper, the wave run.up on a vertical cylinder is presented. Various cross sections of a cylinder were simulated using the panel method for various wave periods. Two.dimensional model tests were performed in a wave flume. The simulation results are compared with the test results. The simulation is based on the linear diffraction theory.
