신뢰성 평가를 위한 LV 회로 분석시뮬레이터 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Implementation of LV circuit analysis simulator for Reliability Evaluation)

  • This study is concerned with analysis and reliability evaluation of LV circuit in Cab Cubicle system which controls train to keep safety in High Speed Train. LV circuit is operated with diagnosis system as safety system. In this paper, we suggest a design and an implementation method to analyze LV circuit or trace fault area in LV circuit. This simulator uses 28 package modules and examines input and output by equations. So, user can trace where is fault area. The implemented system can be expected to be useful for long term test and evaluation of circuit in high speed train systems. We expect reduction to diagnosis area or repair time by this simulator.

  • A Single-phase condensor motor is analyzed by FEM coupled with external circuit. The finite element analysis is based on the solution of combined equation both the magnetic field equation from the Maxwell's and the circuit equations of the stator and rotor circuit. The external circuit of the single-phase condensor motor to be analyzed is described using FLUX2D and linked to multiple FEM regions. The simulated results show that the condensor motor analysis with external circuit has good agreement with those of test results.

  • Even the case DC circuit Breaker have good quality for interruption of high current like heavy load current, short-circuit current, the verification for small current breaking capability of circuit breaker should be performed. It comes from the reason DC small current breaking failure can be lead to break out second heavy fault condition and in the long run substation shutdown. In this paper, we can find the characteristics of DC small current and international test standard discription about small current breaking and one of the proper solution to get over it.

  • The circuit breaker in an electric power system is not operated when the voltage in the circuit breaker is higher than the rated transient recovery voltage (TRV). The TRV of a circuit breaker is characterized by re-ignition of the arc between two poles and determined by the value of connecting impedance. In this study, we simulated the peak value of TRV in the AC filter of the circuit breaker. The suitability of TRV is assessed by capacitive current switching test conditions defined by the international guide IEC62271-100.

  • In recent years, DC distribution systems are becoming hot issue due to the increase in digital loads and DC generation systems according to the expansion of renewable energy technologies. However, removing the fault current in DC grids is comparably difficult since the current in DC grids has no zero-crossing point like in AC grids. Thus, developing dedicated DC circuit breakers for DC grids is necessary to get safety for people and electrical facilities. This paper proposes magnet arc extinguishing method to develop a 300[$V_{DC}$]/10[A] DC circuit breaker. The performance of the proposed DC circuit breaker was verified by an experimental circuit breaker test system built in this research.

  • The breaking of a circuit in DC grid could pose a challenge because of the absence of zero-crossing instant for both current and voltage when a fault occurs. An additional fault current limiting function will be very helpful for reducing the burden of the DC circuit breaker by limiting the fault current to a reasonable value. In this paper, we studied the overcurrent characteristics of several HTS conductors so that we could use the selected conductors for the basic design work of a resistive type fault current limiting module as a part of the circuit breaking system. According to the short-circuit test results, we suggested and compared two different basic design parameters of the HTS fault current limiting module, which will be connected in series to the DC circuit breaker.

  • 본 논문에서는 많은 함수를 용이하게 해석하고 테스트할 수 있는 결정도(Decision diagram)에 의한 다치순차논리회로(Multiple valued squential circuit)를 구현하였다 우선, 다치순차 회로의 기억소사는 D F/F를 이용하였으며 전류모드에 의한 결정도 순차 논리 회로를 구현한다 이 회로의 동자특성은 PSPICE 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 전류모드 CMOS의 결정도 다치순차회로는 회선 경로 선택의 규칙성, 간단성, 여러함수를 쉽게 해석하고 테스트 할 수 있는 등등의 이점을 가지므로 VLSI화 실현에 적합할 것으로 생각된다.

  • A new type of fiber-reinforced polymeric materials for the main body and the arc chamber of the low-voltage circuit breakers was developed. The tensile and the flectional strength of the three kinds of thermoplastic resins for the cover of MCCBs(Molded case circuit breakers) increase much higher than those made of BMC that has been used. In a high current-breaking test, an experimental MCCB with the new insulating material showed no-cracks on the bodies.

  • High-voltage gas-insulated circuit-breaker must interrupt short-circuit current successfully when breakdown occurs in electric power system. Among many test-duties, Basic Terminal fault T100a(BTF T100a) is the one of the severest duties because of its high DC component of short-circuit current. In this paper, we developed 245kV 50kA gas circuit breaker using control circuits to reduce DC component while interrupting short-circuit current, then got good performance through high-power tests in Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute(KERI) and KEMA

  • The cubicle type GIS rated at 25.8kV has been designed and manufactured by Jinkwang E&C eacently with their own technologies and KERI's assistances. The C-GIS has been tested to check the design capability for reference before conducting the type test. The operating characteristics test, short time withstand current and peak withstand current test, basic short circuit test duty T60 for preconditioning test, cable charging current switching test, capacitor bank current switching test, basic short circuit test duty T100s and T100a, single phase earth fault test, double earth fault test has been conducted. The test results show that the design and the manufacturing of the C-GIS has an enough capability to pass through the type test except the occurrence of 2 NSDDs in the cable charging current switching test and the instability of opening time at the minimum operating voltage. The problems shown in the tests will be improved soon and the successful pass will be expected in the following type test.
