  • Enterprises confronted the Environment of infinite competition should be prepared to abrupt variations of management environment and have the ability to be changed in short term. It has to be studied, the control method of products that correspond to molt-functionalization and reduced product life which is caused by high-quality and varied customers demands. As a process control method, we must be able not only to control varies characteristic in a control at once but also to detected special values quickly for high-quality. In this paper a control method referred above is presented.

  • The low energy excitations of spin waves (SWR) in thin films can be used for determination of the surface anisotropy constant and the nonhomogeneities of magnetization in the close-to-surface layer. The dispersion relation in SWR is sensitive on the geometry of experiment. We report on temperature dependence of surface magnetic anisotropy energy constant in magnetic semiconductor thin films of$ CdCr_{2-2x}In_{2x}Se_4$ at spin glass state. Samples were deposited by rf sputtering technique on Corning glass substrate in controlled temperature conditions. Coexistence of the infinite ferromagnetic network (IFN) and finite spin slusters (FSC) in spin glass state (SG) is know phenomena. Some behavior typical for long range magnetic ordering is expected in samples at SG state. The spin wave resonance experiment (microwave spectrometer at X-band) with excited surface modes was applied to describe the energy state of surface spins. We determined the surface magnetic anisotropy energy constant versus temperature using the surface inhomogeneities model of magnetic thin films. It was found that two components contribute to the surface magnetic anisotropy energy. One originates from the exchange interaction term due to the lack of translation symmetry for surface spin as well as from the originates from the exchange interaction term due to the lack of translation symmetry for surface spin as well as from the stray field of the surface roughness. The second one comes from the demagnetizing field of close-to surface layer with grad M. Both term linearly decrease when temperature is increased from 5 to 123 K, but dominant contribution is from the first component.

  • Photovoltaic (PV) power generation is the world's best and largest renewable energy that generates electricity with infinite sunlight. Solar cell modules are a component of photovoltaic power generation and must have a long-term durability of at least 25 years. The development of processes and equipment that can be recovered through the recycling of metals and valuable metals when the solar module's lifespan is over has been completed to the level of commercialization, but few processes have been developed that require repair due to initial defects. This is mainly due to the economic problems caused by remaking. However, if manufacturing processes such as repairing solar cell modules that have been proven to be early defects are established and the technical review of long-term reliability and durability reaches a certain level, it is considered that it will be a recommended process technology for environmental economics. In this paper, assuming that a defective solar cell module occurs artificially, a manufacturing process for replacement of solar cells was developed, and a technical verification of the manufacturing technology was conducted through long-term durability evaluation in accordance with KS C 8561. Through this, it was determined that remanufacturing technology for solar cell replacement of solar cell modules that occurred in a short period of time after installation was possible, and the research results were announced through a journal to commercialize solar modules using manufacturing technology in the solar market in the future.

  • Since Berkhoff proposed the mild-slope equation in 1972, it has widely been used for calculation of shallow water wave transformation. Recently, it was extended to give an extended mild-slope equation, which includes the bottom slope squared term and bottom curvature term so as to be capable of modeling wave transformation on rapidly varying topography. These equations were derived by integrating the Laplace equation vertically. In the present study, we develop a finite element model to solve the Laplace equation directly while keeping the same computational efficiency as the mild-slope equation. This model assumes the vertical variation of wave potential as a cosine hyperbolic function as done in the derivation of the mild-slope equation, and the Galerkin method is used to discretize . The computational domain was discretized with proper finite elements, while the radiation condition at infinity was treated by introducing the concept of an infinite element. The upper boundary condition can be either free surface or a solid structure. The applicability of the developed model was verified through example analyses of two-dimensional wave reflection and transmission. .

  • A penalized VIC method offers an efficient hybrid particle-mesh algorithm to simulate an incompressible viscous flow passing a solid body in an infinite domain. In this manner, the computational domain needs to be restricted to a relatively small region to reduce computational cost which would be very high in case of using a large domain. In this paper, we present how to dispose of far-field particles to avoid an unnecessarily large computational domain. The present approach constraints expansion of the domain and thus prevents the incremental computational cost. To validate the numerical approach, a flow around an impulsively started sphere was simulated for Reynolds numbers of 100 and 1000.

  • Nowadays, after beginning of 21 centuries, owing to simplify market, the world is in the era of an influx of new paradigm that requires infinite competition. The manufacturing industries of Korea are in need of casting off high cost and low efficiency structure. The forfeiture of competition is resulted from the lost of level in quality of product. Today, the achievement of competitive product quality is coming from the following factors, that is., quality control, quality of service, marketing, human resources, finance, etc., together with process management. While Six Sigma, a newly introduced method to achieve process qualify outcome by sector of enterprise, is now being enjoyed a high reputation as a key device for competition by superiority enterprises in the United States, it has not been introduced sufficiently in the domestic enterprises yet. In our research, we, first of all, organized systematically the materials being released up to now. Furthermore, we looked over case studies of the American enterprises that apply Six Sigma strategy very successfully. Finally, we discussed the situation of domestic enterprises which are about to importing Six Sigma strategy as well as main causation of success by adopting it. While the enterprises approach Six Sigma strategy not in the way of on time and short term but in the way of long term, consistent renovation and persistent innovation we can assure that they will produce the highest quality and globally competitive products which are second to none.

  • In this paper, asymmetric drainage boundaries modeled by exponential functions which can simulate intermediate drainage from pervious to impervious boundary is proposed for the one-dimensional consolidation problem, and the solution for the new boundary conditions was derived. The new boundary conditions satisfy the initial and the steady state conditions, and the solution for the new boundary conditions can be degraded to the conventional solution by Terzaghi. Convergence study on the infinite series solution showed that only one term in the series is needed to meet the precision requirement for larger degree of consolidation, and that more terms in the series for smaller degree of consolidation. Comparisons between the present solution with those by Terzaghi and Gray are also provided.

  • This paper aimed for numerical simulation of complicated gas turbine combustor with swirler. For the convenience of numerical analysis, fuel nozzle and air linear hole areas of secondary and dilution zone, which are issued to jet stream, were simplified to equivalent areas of annular type. In other to solve these problems, imaginary source terms which are corresponded to supplied fuel amount were added to those of governing equation. Chemical equilibrium model of infinite reaction rate and $k-{\epsilon}-g$ model with the consideration of density fluctuation were applied. As the result, swirl intensity contributed to mixing of supplied fuel and air, and to speed up the flame velocity than no swirl condition. Temperature profiles were higher than experimental results at the upstream and lower at the downstream, but total energy balance was accomplished. As these properties showed the similar trend qualitatively, simplified simulation method was worth to apply to complicated combustor for predicting combustion characteristics.

  • Let I(f) be the integral defined by : $I(f) = \int\limits_{a}^{b} f(x)w(x)dx$ with f a given function, w a nonclassical weight function and [a, b] an interval of IR (of finite or infinite length). We propose to calculate the approximate value of I(f) by using a new scheme for deriving a non-linear system, satisfied by the three-term recurrence coefficients of semi-classical orthogonal polynomials. Finally we studies the Stability and complexity of this scheme.
