In this study, when the normal concrete became a $20^{\circ}C$ image after the exposure time at an external temperature of $-15^{\circ}C$, the limit point of the early frost damage was analyzed. As a result, it was confirmed that the degree of concretion was higher than the external level after carrying in and after exposure, and that the initial Tokai damage was observed after 12 hours of exposure.
Excitons are the most prominent features of the optical properties of monolayer transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDC). In view of optoelectronics it is very important to understand the decay mechanisms of the excitons of these materials. Auger recombination of excitons are regarded as one of the dominant decay processes. In this paper the Auger constant of recombination is computed based on the approach proposed by Kavoulakis and Baym. We obtain both temperature dependent (from type A, A' processes) and temperature independent (from type B, B' processes) contributions, and a numerical estimate of theoretical result yields the value of constant in the order of $10^{-2}cm^2s^{-1}$, being consistent with existing experimental data. This implies that Auger decay processes severely limit the photoluminescence yield of TMDC-based optoelectronic devices.
Wet etching is more economical than dry etching and provides a uniform etching depth regardless of wafer sizes. Typically, potassium hydroxide (KOH) and tetra-methyl-ammonium hydroxide (TMAH) solutions are widely used for the wet etching of silicon. However, there is a limit to the wet etching process when a material deposited on an unetched surface reacts with an etching solution. To solve this problem, in this study, an apparatus was designed and manufactured to physically block the inflow of etchants on the surface using a rubber O-ring. The proposed apparatus includes a heater and a temperature controller to maintain a constant temperature during etching, and the hydrostatic pressure of the etchant is considered for the thin film structure. A corrugation membrane with a diameter of 800 ㎛, thickness of 600 nm, and corrugation depth of 3 ㎛ with two corrugations was successfully fabricated using the prepared device.
The microstructure and texture of three 316L foils of 25 ㎛ thickness, which were subjected to different manufacturing process, were systematically characterized using advance analytical techniques. Then, the electrochemical property of the 316L foils in simulated pressurized water reactor (PWR) solution was analyzed using potentiodynamic polarization. The results showed that final rolling strain and annealing temperature had evident effect on grain size, fraction of recrystallization, grain boundary type and texture distribution. It was suggested that large final rolling strain could transfer Brass texture to Copper texture; low annealing temperature could limit the formation of preferable orientations in the rolling process to reduce anisotropy. Potentiodynamic polarization test showed that all samples exhibited good corrosion performance in the simulated primary PWR solution.
We propose a deep learning analysis technique with a convolutional neural network (CNN) to predict the evolutionary track of the Epoch of Reionization (EoR) from the 21-cm differential brightness temperature tomography images. We use 21cmFAST, a fast semi-numerical cosmological 21-cm signal simulator, to produce mock 21-cm maps between z = 6 ~ 13. We then apply two observational effects, such as instrumental noise and limit of (spatial and depth) resolution somewhat suitable for realistic choices of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), into the 21-cm maps. We design our deep learning model with CNN to predict the sliced-averaged neutral hydrogen fraction from the given 21-cm map. The estimated neutral fraction from our CNN model has great agreement with the true value even after coarsely smoothing with broad beam size and frequency bandwidth and heavily covered by noise with narrow beam size and frequency bandwidth. Our results show that the deep learning analyzing method has the potential to reconstruct the EoR history efficiently from the 21-cm tomography surveys in future.
In this study, ZnCo2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized via the coprecipitation method using different annealing temperatures from 200℃ to 800℃. By varying the treatment temperature, the morphology changed from amorphous to tetragonal, and finally to polygonal particles. As temperature increased, the sizes of the nanoparticles also changed from 5 nm at 200℃ to approximately 500 nm at 800℃. The fabricated material was used to modify the working electrode of a screen-printed carbon electrode (SPE), which was subsequently used to survey the detection performance of the antibiotic, chloramphenicol (CAP). The electrochemical results revealed that the material exhibits a good response to CAP. Further, the sample that annealed at 600℃ displayed the best performance, with a linear range of 1-300 μM, and a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.15 μM. The sensor modified with ZnCo2O4 also exhibited the potential for utilitarian application when the recovery in a real sample was above 97%.
Forty-five Hisex commercial layers and forty-five local Saudi breed layers were used to determine the acceptable limit of short-term water restriction in the late phase of production, when the problem of high feed and water consumption is expected. The experiment was performed under hot and arid environmental conditions when the layers were at fifty weeks of age. Layers from each breed were randomly assigned in groups of five into nine floor pens. The average environmental temperature was 37.2-$38.6^{\circ}C$, and the relative humidity was between 20 to 37%. The trial was divided into 3 periods; control (1 week), water restriction (2 weeks) and rehydration (1 week). During the restriction period, layers from each breed were divided into three groups that received 20, 40, and 0% restriction of drinking water relative to their consumed water during the control period. During the study, feed and water consumption, body weight, changes in body weight, egg production, primary antibody response to SRBC, and rectal temperature were evaluated. Water restriction did not result in any clear effect on feed intake in either breed, however, commercial layers tended to consume less feed compared to the local breed. Body weight declined with water restriction during the first week of restriction in the commercial breed regardless of rate of restriction, but it was delayed until the second week in the local breed. Water restriction of 40% decreased egg production in both breeds but with a delay of 1 week in the local breed. Antibody level to SRBC was not affected by water restriction in the commercial line while it was highly affected in the local breed. A water restriction of 20% is considered to be an acceptable limit under the current experimental conditions without a negative effect on egg production in both breeds and considering the immune status of the local breed. Whereas, 40% restriction had a negative effect on egg production, and varied effects in the other traits in both breeds.
The dielectric constants of used gasoline engine oils were obtained at a few temperatures and a frequency. Through analyzing the characteristics of dielectric constant, the related correlation between the changes in dielectric constants of oil and the degree of oil deterioration is going to be found. The dielectric constant was calculated using cross capacitances measured by a sensor tube. As results of the measurement of the fresh engine oil's dielectric constant, it was found that the value of dielectric constant was set down below $60^{\circ}C$ regardless changing frequency. Further, above 6 kHz, the dielectric constant was set down even if temperature was above $100^{\circ}C$ Therefore, for the measurement of used oils, it was selected the frequency of 6 kHz,,and the temperature of $80^{\circ}C$ preventing a certain ionic-conduction effects on the measured dielectric constant and the evaporation of a certain fluid mixed with engine oil. Specially, the effects of the mixing fluid like coolant, water and fuel on the fresh engine oil's dielectric constant were studied. It was found that the oil mixed with coolant showed the highest value, next water, and the lowest fuel. As results of the measurement of the used engine oil's dielectric constant, it was found that the possible changed rate of the used engine oil's dielectric constant based on the warning limit for engine oil in service was below 4% for gasoline engine oil.
The dielectric constants of used diesel engine oils were obtained at a few temperatures and a frequency. Through analyzing the characteristics of dielectric constant, the related correlation between the changes in dielectric constants of oil and the degree of oil deterioration is going to be found. As results of the measurement of the used engine oil's dielectric constant, it was found that the possible changed rate of the used engine oil's dielectric constant based on the warning limit for engine oil in service was below 10% for diesel engine oil.

In this part of the studies on dielectric dehydration of foamed fish-starch paste, quality stability and shelflife of the product of which the preparation formula and processing conditions were described in the previous report (Lee et at., 1982) were determined by means of accelerated reaction test. The product was stored for 50 days under the conditions of temperatures at 35, 45, and 55$^{\circ}C$ in steady state and various water activities of 0.44, 0.52, 0.65, and 0.75, respectively. The loss of available lysine, the extent of TBA value, and the development of browning during the storage were measured and reaction kinetically analysed to assess quality stability and shelf-life of the product for the storage at room temperature of 25$^{\circ}C$. The extent of browning was accelerated with the increase of water activity and temperature marking the time to reach a limit of color and flavor deterioration, or to reach brown color density of 0.17 O.D./g at 420nm, 106 days at a$\_$w/=0.44, 35$^{\circ}C$, and 41 days at aw=0.65, 55$^{\circ}C$. These reaction rates resulted in a prediction of shelf-life, 130 to 110 days in the storage at au=0.44 to 0.75, 25$^{\circ}C$. The quality limit assessed by TBA values and sensory evaluation of rancidity was 87 days at a$\_$w/=0.44, 35$^{\circ}C$, and 30 days at aw=0.73, 55$^{\circ}C$ which gave a predicted shelf-life, 128 to 113 days at a$\_$w/=0.44 to 0.75, 25$^{\circ}C$ storage.
