  • This paper proposes an estimation method of back emf for the sensorless controlled high speed PMSM drive in turbo compressors with air bearings. The back emf of PMSM motor varies due to the temperature variation, which deteriorates the control performance of sensorless controlled PMSM drives. The proposed method is based on the current model of the PMSM motor. The simulation results show that the proposed method estimates the back emf of sensorless controlled PMSM drives with reasonable accuracy for parameter adaptation.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the thermal conductivity of cement mortar for apartment housing floor using expansive admixture, copper fiber, cower lathe, hollowed aluminum plate. According to test results, temperature at point (a) located above heating pipe does not show significant variation with age, and temperature at (b), which is located at the finishing surface above heating pipe, and temperature at (c), which is located at center surface between heating pipe has remarkable change. Temperature distribution sat (b) are in order for, structure containing copper fiber>plain structure>structure containing hollowed aluminum plate>structure containing expansive admixture. Temperature distribution, shows high tendency in order for, structure containing copper fiber>structure containing copper lathe>structure containing hollowed aluminum plate>plain structure>structure containing expansive admixture. (a) estimation of temperature distribution is determined with the variation of temperature between (b) point and (c) point during 60 minutes heating.

  • Microwave Radiometry is the spectral measurement of eleclromagnetic radiation at frequency bands in the microwave region. One particular application of Microwave Radiometry is for analyzing temperature difffrentials of inside of human body to detect and diagnose pathologic conditions in which the temperature differentials are related with the symptoms of certain diseases. To accomplish this aim, we propose a new calibration method for estimating subcutaneous temperature by Microwave Radiometer and we also suggest a tumor-imitator phantom structure for simulating heat diffusion propagated by tissues around tumors to evaluate the discernment of brighuless temperature difffrentials.

  • Study on high temperature properties of concrete and internal force estimation of structural member subjected to high temperature mainly applied high temperature strength model based on experimental results with concrete under 40MPa. However, it is reported that degradation of internal force at high temperature and spalling of ultra high strength concrete are higher than that of normal strength concrete. Therefore, this study attempts to propose compressive strength degradation model which is suitable to ultra high strength concrete comparing to existing model by evaluating high temperature properties of ultra high strength concrete.
