Based on classification systems of power and IT standard dictionaries, scientific and technological standard, SPARK, power IT fields of IEC and organization units of corporations, we propose a new classification system for the standardization of power of terminologies. The classification system consists of a hierarchical structure with general classification, application fields and specific technologies while keeping the conventional matrix-type classification system. Interpretation work of the power of terminologies confirms that the proposed classification system is efficient.

As a new medium for knowledge diffusion, E-Journal is expected to be a general type of scholarly communication. However, the techno - economic problems have hindered the advancement of the E-Journal. For the technical aspects, there are problems such as the standardization of document format, automatization of the document preparation, forward and backward link between documents. Also there are necessities for the support of the information infrastructure of digital library and information superhighway. For the economic domain, reengineering of total publishing cycle is considered and the new paradigm of peer review is analyzed. We pointed out that the main difficulties in the diffusion of E-Journal are on the promotion of service and technological advance, not the price and marketing strategy.

Power system technologies in the area of smart grid are being converged with communication system technologies or information technologies(IT). This interdisciplinary action affects on two parts vigorously so that IT has become a essential part of power industry. But terminologies of two parts are confused and it is necessary that these are standardized to develop the industry. The interpretation works with scientific and technological standard of the smart grid terminologies which are IEC TC 57 glossary and non-glossary terminologies are introduced. Based on the interpretation works of the smart grid terminologies, an online terminology information system for the standardization of smart grid terminologies is proposed. The system provides the capability of collection and delivery of academic society opinions for the selected and interpreted terminologies.

Extended reality (XR) provides an immersive virtual experience by using various media. The XR virtual environment enables interactions between the real and virtual worlds in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality scenarios. XR is being used in various areas such as industry, medical care, road transportation, gaming, education, and culture. XR and multimedia enhancement are important business scenarios for fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks. As users' demand for emerging media services gradually increases, enhancements in networks should be implemented for delivering multimedia services such as XR. We describe related standardization trends and requirements of the XR service in 5G mobile networks. We also discuss technological enhancements for 5G mobile networks as specified by the 3GPP SA2 working group.

국제 표준화 기구인 ITU, ISO/IEC/JTCl를 비롯해 지역 표준화기구인 ETSI, 국가기구인 committee T1, 한국정보통신기술협회 (TTA) 둥은 표준의 신속한 제정 및 적기의 공급을 위해, 각각의 표준화 절차에 기반한 전자적 문서처리(EDH: Electronic Document Handling) 시스템을 구축하고, 이를 통해 표준화 진행에 관련된 각종 정보를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 전자적 환경을 구축하는데 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국제기구인 ITU-T, JTCl, 유럽의 ETSI, 미국의 Committee T1 그리고 지난해 7월 조직개편을 단행한 한국정보통신기술협회를 대상으로, 최근 인터넷관련 각종 정보처리기술을 이용하여, 이를 표준화 절차에 활용하고 있는 전자적 작업방법 및 이와 관련된 지침을 조사 ·분석하였다. 또한, 향후 전개될 EDH방법에 대해 논하고 한국의 대응방향 및 차세대 표준정보유통망의 운용구조를 제시한다.

최근 정보통신 국제표준을 세계 시장을 선점하기 위한 필수적인 전략으로 인식하여 선진 각국 및 기업 간의 국제표준화 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 한편 우리나라는 2001년 이후로 디스플레이 시장 점유율 세계 1위의 국가로 성장하였으나, 2010년 이후 세계적인 경기 침체 등으로 디스플레이 산업이 둔화되고 있으며 선진 각국은 이를 극복하기 위하여 차세대 디스플레이 개발에 집중하고 있다. 따라서 21세기 스마트 정보사회에서 우리나라가 차세대 디스프레이 시장에서 주도적인 위치를 확보하기 위해서는 차세대 디스플레이의 핵심 기술 개발 및 이를 기반으로 핵심 기술에 대한 국제 표준화를 추진할 수 있는 차세대 디스플레이 표준화 전략의 수립 및 체계적인 추진이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 디스플레이 기술개발 및 표준화 동향을 분석하여 향후 바람직한 표준화 추진 전략을 모색하고자 한다.

Traditional centralized radio access network architecture used for 4G is based on Option 8, a functional split between PHY and RF. This option is commonly used with a fronthaul interface based on common public radio interface (CPRI) specifications; however, the increased data rates in 5G make this option impractical because of the fronthaul interface's high bandwidth requirement. Since CPRI specifications have many vendor-specific options, achieving multi-vendor interoperability becomes challenging. Open RAN (O-RAN) Alliance is developing novel open fronthaul interface specifications based on the functional split Option 7-2x, one of the intra-PHY split options, to relax the bandwidth requirement of the fronthaul interface and achieve multi-vendor interoperability. This article provides a brief overview of the various functional split options for 5G fronthaul that have been reported so far and existing fronthaul technologies. Further, the technological trends in the 5G open fronthaul interface is discussed, focusing on the O-RAN Alliance specifications under standardization.

본 연구는 사이버교육의 활성화와 발전을 근본적인 목적으로 하면서, 원격대학을 중심으로 콘텐츠를 상호 교환하여 활용할 수 있는 체제 및 방법으로 기술 표준화를 제안하고자 하였다. 원격대학의 콘텐츠 교류를 위한 기술 표준화의 모색은 비단 원격대학에만 한정되는 문제는 아니다. 그것은 사이버교육을 수행하고 있고, 다양한 콘텐츠를 개발하여 관리를 해야 하는 주체라면 동일한 문제에 봉착하고, 기술 표준화에 대해 인식을 같이하리라 예상되기 때문이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 원격대학이 당면하고 있는 콘텐츠의 공동활용 방안을 모색하고, 이미 진행되고 있는 콘텐츠의 개발 관리 측면에서 효율성을 기하는 방안을 제시하였다.

파괴적 기술(disruptive technology)은 기존 산업, 타 산업 그리고 소비자에게까지 미치는 파급력으로 인해 국내외 산업계, 표준화기구, 학계, 정부 및 규제기관 등의 관심이 집중되고 있다. 새로운 기술을 주도하는 기업들은 자사의 기술을 표준, 특히 국제표준으로 만듦으로써 세계 시장을 선점하고자 하지만 국제 표준화기구 등을 통한 공식적인 표준화는 급격한 기술 및 시장 변화에 대응하는 데에 시간이 많이 소요되는 어려움이 있어 공적 표준화기구를 우회하는 방법들이 선호되고 있다. 파괴적 기술 분야에서 여러 규모의 기업들과 다양한 이해관계자들이 표준이 가져다주는 기술 개발 및 확산의 혜택을 얻기 위해서는 공적 표준화기구에서의 결집된 표준 제정의 노력이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 파괴적 기술 분야의 표준화에 대해 공적 표준화기구의 역할이 시장 메커니즘에 비해 미미한 이유가 무엇인지 분석하고자 전문가 델파이 조사를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 전문가들은 파괴적 기술의 핵심적 특성을 소비자의 행동 및 습관을 변화시켜 새로운 시장을 창출하고 기존 시장의 경쟁 질서를 변화시키는 것으로 인식하고 있음을 발견하였다. 이러한 특성을 반영하여 유연하고 신속한 표준화가 핵심적이라는 점이 전문가들이 공유하는 의견으로 드러났다. 또한, 표준화 활동과 기업의 이윤창출과의 연결고리 부재에 대한 인식이 표준화 참여를 저해하는 요인으로 작용하고 있음을 발견하였다. 델파이 조사 결과를 분석하여 공적 표준화기구의 차원과 표준화 정책적 측면에서 시사점을 도출하였다.

최근 주요 선진국 및 표준화 기구들은 급변하는 시장의 요구 및 기술변화를 수용하기 위해 더 많은 새롭고 복잡한 표준들을 보다 짧은 시간 내에 개발하여, 표준화를 통한 동 분야의 경쟁력강화는 물론 이를 시장선점용 전략수단으로 활용하고 있으며, 이를 효과적으로 실현하기 위해 전자적 (표준) 문서 처리시스템(EDH: Electronic Document Handling) 혹은 표준정보유통시스템 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 정보통신분야의 환경변화에 효율적으로 대처하기 위해 국내 환경을 고려한 전자적 표준개발환경의 기본 시스템 구성과 이를 지원하기 위한 XML기반 표준 정보 공유 및 교환을 가능하게 하는 차세대 표준 정보 유통망의 구조, 그리고 표준화관련 종합정보의 One-stop Service 통한 표준화 로드맵 역할을 포함하는 차세대 표준정보유통망기능 중 정보서버역할을 하는 표준화전용 보털 사이트(Standardization Vortal Site) 구축 프레임워크를 제시한다.
