  • 미래 핵심인 SW산업의 국제 경쟁력 확보를 위하여, SW 분야의 세계적인 기술변화에 대응하고 향후 SW 산업의 분석 및 설계를 주도할 아키텍트 수준의 SW 기술 인력 양성이 요구된다. 그러나 현재의 상황은 일정 수준의 경력에 따른 SW 기술 인력이 일반관리자로 전직하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 이러한 현실을 해결하고 SW 기술 인력의 질적 수준을 제고하기 위해서 국내 SW 기술 인력의 체계적이고 효과적인 성장방향을 제시하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내 SW 기술 인력의 체계적이고 효과적인 성장방향을 제시하면서, 고급 SW 분석/설계 인력의 경력 경로를 제시하며 이를 실현할 수 있는 방만을 제시하고자 한다.

인적 오류 연구의 동향과 과제: 어떻게 하고 있으며, 무엇이 필요한가? (A State-of-the-Art Report on the Current Human Error Studies: What and How to Cope with)

  • While human error has been one of the main technical issues from the early era of human factors engineering, it still remains hot and somewhat vague due to the various types of the concepts and words on human errors in practice. There may be some technical limitations hindering human error prevention activities. This paper introduces the human error activities described in the papers if this issue of ESK Journal according to a few criteria proposed for more effective technical review. And two basic technical issues are discussed on the concepts, perspectives, and classifications about human errors. Each activity shows its own artifacts associated with the safety purpose and the nature of the industry. This paper also provides a set of new technical bases proposed for a more effective management of human errors by considering the dependability, representativeness, and structuredness of human errors. Additionally, this paper includes some new challenges over the current prevention-oriented activities; positive utilizations of human errors to training/education, advertisements, fun and entertainments, and nudges.

A comparative study on applicability and efficiency of machine learning algorithms for modeling gamma-ray shielding behaviors

  • The mass attenuation coefficient is the primary physical parameter to model narrow beam gamma-ray attenuation. A new machine learning based approach is proposed to model gamma-ray shielding behavior of composites alternative to theoretical calculations. Two fuzzy logic algorithms and a neural network algorithm were trained and tested with different mixture ratios of vanadium slag/epoxy resin/antimony in the 0.05 MeV-2 MeV energy range. Two of the algorithms showed excellent agreement with testing data after optimizing adjustable parameters, with root mean squared error (RMSE) values down to 0.0001. Those results are remarkable because mass attenuation coefficients are often presented with four significant figures. Different training data sizes were tried to determine the least number of data points required to train sufficient models. Data set size more than 1000 is seen to be required to model in above 0.05 MeV energy. Below this energy, more data points with finer energy resolution might be required. Neuro-fuzzy models were three times faster to train than neural network models, while neural network models depicted low RMSE. Fuzzy logic algorithms are overlooked in complex function approximation, yet grid partitioned fuzzy algorithms showed excellent calculation efficiency and good convergence in predicting mass attenuation coefficient.

다면 AHP 방법론을 활용한 역량 모델링과 국가기술자격제도 개선 방안 도출 (Competency Modeling Using AHP Methodology and Improvement of National Technical Qualification System)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an engineer competency model using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to improve the national technical qualification system. Korea has managed technical human resources at the government level through the operation of a national technical qualification system that certifies engineers with national certificates or technical grades by laws. However, there have been increasing concerns that the government system is separated from global standards and does not reflect an engineer's comprehensive capabilities. For these reasons, the new architecture of the system has been continuously discussed and becomes a major policy issue of the Korean government. For the development of the engineer competency model, domestic and global models were separately structured using 554 valid questionnaires with a consistency ratio (CR) of 0.1 or less. The relative importance of engineer competency factors in a domestic model was career (0.383), qualification (0.253), academic degree (0.195), and job training (0.169) whereas the order in the global model was career (0.308), global ability (0.237), job training (0.175), domestic qualification (0.147), and academic degree (0.134). The results of AHP analysis indicated that the evaluation factors and methods recognized by engineers were different from a current government model focusing on domestic qualifications. There was also perceptual difference in the importance of engineer evaluation factors between groups depending on the type of organizations and markets. This means that it is necessary to reflect the characteristics of organizations and markets when evaluating engineer competency. Based on AHP analysis and literature reviews, this paper discussed how to develop a new engineer competency index (ECI) and presented two effective index models verified by simulation test using 59,721 engineers' information. Lastly, the paper discussed major findings of our empirical research and proposed policy alternatives for the improvement of a national engineer qualification system. The paper contributes to the management of technical human resources since it provides quantitative competency models that are objectively developed by reflecting market recognition and can be effectively used by the policy makers or firms.

미세수술 술기 연습을 위한 실체 현미경의 사용 (Use of Stereoscopic Microscope for Practice of Microsurgical Skill)

  • Purpose: Microsurgery is an essential technique in plastic and reconstructive surgery. However, microsurgical suturing and handling of the instrument are difficult for beginners, and who requires a steep learning curve. Therefore, methods for improving the technical skill are needed. The authors describe the value of a small stereoscopic microscope as a training tool. Materials and Methods: A small stereoscopic microscope was used to help improve the microsurgical skill. Monofilament 10-0 Nylon and a surgical rubber globe were used as a suture material and education material, respectively Result: Stereoscopic view of the operation field was obtained and basic microsurgical suture was possible. Conclusion: The stereoscopic microscope is an effective training tool for beginners of microsurgery with benefits in cost and usefulness in small place.

비행훈련 품질 향상을 위한 개선 효과 분석 (Analysis of Improvement Effects for Flight Training Quality)

  • Currently, flight training is not only a technical instruction that teaches maneuvering operations, but has expertise equal to that of general disciplines. Therefore, flight instructors must have academic knowledge and flight skills. As flight instructors are the first teacher in flight training for students who have never experienced actual flight control, the behavior of flight instructors will affect the students' flight education. Therefore, the influence of flight instructors for students are quite large compared to other educational institutions. In this study, the factors of instructional behavior were determined, and the actual state of instructional behavior of flight instructors were confirmed through students' survey. Improvements were derived to solve the problems identified in the survey results. For the follow-up analysis, improvements were applied to the flight instructors for 8 months, and then re-question was conducted to the same students who responded to the first questionnaire to find out the difference in results before and after through a paired t-test.

  • 본 논문에서는 외국인과 발음에 어려움을 겪고 있는 한국인들을 대상으로 음성 녹음을 진행하여 점수를 반환받는 웹 사이트를 소개한다. 이 웹 사이트의 목적은 사용자들의 발음 향상을 돕는 것이다. 음성 인식 API와 발음 평가 API를 사용하여 사용자의 발음을 정확하게 평가하고 피드백을 제공함으로써, 외국어 학습자와 발음에 어려움을 겪는 한국인들이 보다 원활하게 의사소통할 수 있도록 돕는다. 향후 연구로는 이 시스템의 사용자들에게 학습 성취에 대한 동기 부여를 하는 기능을 추가해 학습 효과를 높이도록 개선할 것이다.

성인 스피치교육 전후 효과에 관한 목소리변화스펙트로그램 비교 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Speech Training for Adults Focusing on the Analysis of Voices Before and After Speech Training)

  • 본 연구는 스피치교육의 효과를 측정하는데 있어 화자의 목소리의 변화에 주목하였다. 본 연구에서는 스피치교육을 통해 얻게 되는 실질적 효과 중 목소리의 변화를 보다 가시적이고, 과학적으로 평가하고자 하였다. 연구결과 모든 학습자의 목소리에서 스피치교육 전과는 다른 객관적인 변화를 찾을 수 있었다. 학습자 모두 공명, 음색, 발음의 정확성, 휴지 등 다양한 목소리 요소에서 점진적 기술향상이 이루어졌다. 즉, 스피치교육을 받기 전보다 목소리가 풍부해지고 발음이 정확하고, 휴지를 잘 활용하는 안정화된 결과를 볼 수 있었다. 이 연구결과를 통해 스피치훈련을 통해 목소리의 변화가 나타날 수 있는지 분석하고, 스피치 학습자들이 스피치교육에 적극 임해 스피치실력 향상의 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

지방자치와 사서직 공무원 연수 (Local Autonomy and Training of public Librarians)

  • 사서직은 본질적으로 전문적인 지식과 기술을 습득하고 연마하기 위하여 장기적이고 계속적인 훈련과 연찬이 필요한 직종이다. 적절한 재교육을 통하여 새로운 지식과 정보 그리고 기술을 습득해 나가야 할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 교육의 기회가 바로 연수제도이다. 기존의 연수제도의 문제점과 개선방안을 살펴본 바, 교육훈련방향은 중앙집중식을 지양하며 각 지방의 교육훈련계획에 따라 실시되어야 하고, 교육방법에서는 각 지방에 있는 이론과 실제 전문가를 강사로 초빙하며, 교육평가에서는 선택전문교육의 학점제 및 공통전문교육의 수료제를 시행하여야 한다. 끝으로, 사이버교육의 활성화와 도서관협회의 역할 제고 등도 연수제도에 도입되어 사서의 전문성 능력배양에 일조해야 할 것이다.
