전문교과 교육과정에 대응하기 위한 공업계고등학교 공간규모 산정에 관한 연구 (An Estimating Space Program of Technical High School for Future Educational Curriculum)

  • The problem should be approached in terms of recovering essential functions of technical high school and identification to supply stable and quality human resources in technical sector. An adequate space programming for technical high school is needed to educate effective skills and techniques. Considering the education directions of vocational high school, the article covers principals of technical school's construction plan and directions and, based on this, suggest the way of estimating the scale in construction plan of technical school. Through this research, systematic and reasonable space planning can be possible. The range of this research is based on development directions of society and education and an objective standard in a newly reformed the 7th Stage of Education. In addition, the research is limited to technical high school among kinds of vocational high school. The purpose is to redefine the role of technical school that face identification crisis currently, comparing to the past, and to suggest a more effective space planning. The research limits the space to classes for specialized subjects, a core space for education in technical school among diverse spaces.

NCS직업기초능력에 기반한 종합설계교육 사례 분석에 관한 연구 (The Case study on Analysis of Capstone Design Education based on NCS(National Competencies Standard) Basic workplace skills)

  • 국가직무능력표준, NCS(National Competency Standards)는 대학이나 기업체 모두에서 매우 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. NCS는 그동안 직업훈련기관에서 주로 사용되어 왔으나 최근 들어 2,3년제 전문대학뿐만이 아니라 4년제 대학에서도 점차 관심을 가지고 있는 추세이다. 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 등의 NCS의 직업기초능력과 같은 소프트스킬들은 기술이 비약적으로 발전하는 지식정보사회에서는 구체적인 기술능력보다 더욱더 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 NCS의 직업기초능력과 북미와 유럽 등지에서 캡스톤 디자인으로 많이 활용하고 있는 Formula SAE 활동과의 연관성을 대회 현지관찰조사, 학생들이 작성한 대회 관련 문서들 그리고 미국 링컨에서 열린 Formula SAE대회와 한국 KSAE 대회에 참가한 학생들을 대상으로 하는 설문 조사를 통하여 분석하였다. 결과에서 학생들이 참가한 Formula SAE 대회는 NCS 직업기초능력 항들과 전반적인 관점에서 밀접한 속성을 가진다는 것을 알 수가 있다. Formula SAE 활동이 NCS 직업기초능력 향상에 얼마나 도움이 되는가에 대한 설문조사에서 해외 및 국내 모두 전반적으로 리커트척도 5점 만점에 모두 4.0 이상의 점수를 나타내며 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 참고로 양 대회 참가학생들 간에 수학적능력, 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 항들은 통계적으로 유의미한 관계를 나머지 항들은 유의차가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper deals with the method how to organize a team that is effective for developing teamwork skills. In recent engineering education, classes requiring team activities are getting a lot according to the increase of the engineering design classes and PBL based teaching subjects. For an effective team activity, team organization is very important because the team has to have the enough man-power to perform the task need to be completed. Nevertheless, most of all classes that need team activities, team organization is considered a little. Thus, we could see the problems such as the conflict between team members and the lack of technical ability. To overcome the problems, we proposed MBTI based team organizing method that may improve teamwork skills of students.

Designing an Electronic Course and Its Impact on Developing University Students' Computational Thinking Skills

  • The study investigated the effects of differences in some electronic course designs on university students' Computational Thinking Skills (CTS). Towards this end, the researcher adopted the experimental research design of a quasi-experimental of two experimental groups. The first group was taught an e-course designed in a sequential pattern, and the other group's course was designed according to the holistic model. A CTSs test was prepared to collect the relevant data, and the data were analyzed statistically using these tests- Pearson correlation Mann Whitney and Alpha Cronbach. Results revealed statistically-significant differences at the level α=0.05 between the mean scores of the first and second experimental groups in favor of the latter in the CTS test. The findings gave ground to put forward some salient recommendations, including the need to expand computational thinking in universities' educational process. It also recommends urging faculty members to enhance e-courses in the educational process and provide technical support to students and faculty members.

대형 의류벤더의 테크니컬 디자이너 실무 분석 (Analysis of Practical Tasks of Technical Designers of Big Vendors)

  • This study analyzes the practical tasks and required competency for technical designers to provide basic data on the training of domestic technical designers. The survey was applied to 21 technical designers of big vendors as well as investigated tasks, task flow, important tasks, time-consuming tasks, and required competencies. The results of the study are as follows. First, the technical designers were in charge of several brands of buyers and distributors of fashion companies, or several lines of the same brand. The main production items were cut and sewn knits. Second, the flow of task and tasks were in the order of buyer comments analysis, sloper decision to matching style, sewing specification, productive sewing method research, size specification suggestion, pattern correction comments, construction decision to matching style & fabric, sample evaluations, fit approval, business e-mail writing, specification & grading confirmation, and communication with buyer. Third, five tasks (analysis of buyer comments analysis, communication with buyer, pattern correction comments, productive sewing methods research, sample evaluation) were important and time-consuming tasks. Fourth, reeducation was required in order of sewing, pattern, English, fabric, and fitting. Fifth, competencies to be a technical designers were fitting, pattern correction, size specification & grading, construction & sewing specification, sewing terms & techniques, and communication skills. In conclusion, technical designer training should focus on technology-based instruction, such as sample evaluation, fitting, pattern correction, and productive sewing methods research of cut and sewn knits.

국가기술자격제도의 혁신이 기업의 고용결정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 과정평가형 자격을 중심으로 (A Study on the Effects of National Technical Qualification System Innovation on Companies' Decision on Employment: Focused on Course-base Qualification)

  • 기존 검정형 자격제도가 산업의 숙련수요를 충분히 반영하지 못하여 노동시장에서 효용성이 낮게 나타나고 있다는 우려가 제기됨에 따라 최근 검정형 자격을 보완 차별화한 혁신형 국가기술자격제도로써 과정평가형 자격제도가 시행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 과정평가형 자격취득자를 채용한 기업들을 대상으로 한 조사자료를 분석하여 국가기술자격제도의 혁신이 기업의 고용결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 기업의 숙련수요 반영정도는 전체 고용결정에 있어서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 과거 기술부족으로 인한 손실발생 경험이 있는 경우 지속고용 및 고용확대를 결정할 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 기업이 우수한 인력을 고용하고자 하는 것은 모든 기업의 공통적인 희망사항임에도 그간 중소기업들은 우수한 인력을 선별하는 수단이 부족했을 수 있다는 점을 시사한다. 결과적으로 자격제도의 기업숙련수요 반영정도가 높아질수록 자격 취득자의 지속고용 및 고용확대 가능성이 높아질 수 있고, 국가기술자격제도를 산업체의 구체적인 기술숙련 수요에 대응하는 방향으로 설계해야 할 필요성을 제시한다고 하겠다.

Leadership Development in Students as Part of Attitude Development

  • Leadership development corresponds to the focus on the individual's success and competitiveness strategy. This is the optimal direction of the organization of attitude development because it covers two aspects of the student's personality development, professionally-oriented and self-centric. The aim of the study is to identify and compare the leadership level in second-and fourth-year students to see dynamics of development and implementation of the leadership phenomenon in the professional and personal making up of future specialists. Based on the theoretical analysis of the issue, the authors developed an objective and subjective diagnostic model for leadership skills. In this study, data of the objective diagnostic technique are the key. Subjective diagnostic technique for leadership skills provides insights for problem interpretation. At the level of the first group of respondents, the average Leadership Skills Level of the second-year students was quite low and was found within the medium level. The second group of respondents consisting of the fourth-year students showed a slight but effective improvement. The Leadership Skills of this group were found at a sufficient level. Positive dynamics was revealed for all criteria of leadership skills as a result of applying objective diagnostic methods: decreased percentage of students with negative and relatively low markers of Leadership Skills Level and corresponding increase in percentage of applicants with positive markers of Leadership Skills Level. Further research can be organized in the direction of identifying and developing successful universal and professionally-oriented tactics for leadership development in students as part of attitude development.

기계분야 직무체계 개발과 국가기술자격종목 연계실태 분석 연구 (A Study on Development Skill Framework and Analysis of It's Linkage to National Technical Qualification Items in Machinery Sector)

  • 이 연구는 기계분야 직무체계 개발과 국가기술자격종목 연계실태 분석에 목적이 있다. 문헌연구, 면담조사, 전문가협의회를 통해 산업현장에서 통용되는 용어를 중심으로 직무를 분류하고 직무수준을 설정하였다. 직무분류 결과 기계분야의 직무군은 크게 중분류 3개, 소분류 11개, 이들 소분류를 다시 분류하면 총 42개의 직무가 도출되었다. 기계분야의 직무수준은 국가자격체제(KQF)의 수준체계와 자격 및 교육과정, 산업 현장의 직무별 수준을 반영하여 7단계로 구분하였다. 도출된 직무 체계를 바탕으로 직무군과 직무 정의를 제시하였으며, 각 직무별 정의와 직무별 수준별 수행기준을 도출하였다. 또한 개발된 직무체계와 국가기술자격 종목과의 연계실태를 분석하여 자격종목 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • Purpose One of the success factors of information system projects is to reduce requirements uncertainty through user engagement. So, in many recent IS development environment, a business analyst or business analysts are positioned between users and developers to drive user engagement to reduce requirements uncertainty. But, there are few studies that research about the competencies of business analysts for training and staffing. So, this study analyzed which underlying and practical competencies that positively influence user engagement are required. Design/methodology/approach The level of underlying and practical competencies required for business analysts and the level of user enagement in the IS development environment are collected through the survey. And, the causal relationship between the construct concepts which are underlying competencies, practical competencies and the user participation is analzed through the PLS analysis. Findings The results of this study show that the practial competencies of business analysts that positively have a significant impact on user engaement were studied as requirements development skills. Additionally, the underlying competencies of business analysts which have a significant impact on requirements development skills were examined as business knowledge and interaction skills rather than technical knowledge and communication skills.

  • This research seeks to determine what intellectual capital represented by indicators of conceptual skills, human skills, and technical skills plays a role in the development of financial technology. The consideration of fintech is more practical and economical. The concept of fintech is related to the rapid development of global technology by creating various new technologies, especially computer technology. This research uses secondary data; the population of this study is the top management companies in Indonesia during the new normal era. The sample in this research used a purposive sampling method, and the quantitative method. The results of this research indicate that the intellectual capital variable represented by conceptual skills has a significant positive role in the development of financial technology in the new normal era. This research posits that intellectual capital also has a role in the development of financial technology in the new normal. This is because the new normal period represents currently a new challenge in responding to the economic crisis that is resulting from Covid-19 pandemic around the world. Therefore, new concepts, new humanity, and new techniques are needed to develop financial technology, so that they can exist and encourage economic growth in this Covid-19 pandemic era.
