초등 수학 영재를 위한 폴리큐브 교수.학습 자료 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Polycube Teaching-Learning Materials for Mathematically Gifted Elementary School Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등 수학 영재를 대상으로 폴리큐브라는 소재를 활용한 교수 학습용 자료 개발의 과정에서 드러나는 여러 가지 논의점을 바탕으로 차후 또 다른 교수 학습용 자료 개발에 주는 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 공간능력의 하위 요소들을 바탕으로 폴리큐브 과제와 관련되는 13개의 주제를 추출하여 이들 중 학년과 수준을 고려한 9개의 주제를 실제로 반영한 수학 영재 교수 학습 자료를 개발하였다. 이 자료들을 가지고 두 차례 현장 적용을 하는 동안 4명의 개별 학생들이 보여주는 공간능력 활용 사례를 집중 분석하면서 활동들의 연계성과 난이도, 과제 제시방법 및 발문, 학습 형태, 보조 자료의 활용, 수업 소요 시간과 같은 항목들을 점검하고 수학 영재 교수 학습자료 개발방향에 따라 평가, 수정, 보완하였다. 이를 통해 수학 영재 교수 학습 자료의 개발 과정에 필요한 7가지 시사점을 제안하였다.

변수에 의한 함수 지도가 함수개념의 형성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect on Forming Functional Concept by Teaching Function Based on Variable)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop learning materials for functional concept on variable and to verify the effect of how well students could learn functional concept after they studied with those materials. To accomplish the purpose of this study, I developed learning materials and after teaching students with them. I have concluded the followings : First, there was little effect in teaching functional concept on variable between two experimental groups, whereas teaching functional concept had greater effect on forming functional concept in high level groups in those two experimental groups. Second, teaching functional concept on variable had little effect on students' understanding of functional concept and perfecting tables in Black box, graph, and mathematical problems, whereas there was much effect in students' understanding functional concept and solving relation formula, image, and range problems related to everyday life or general things. On the basis of the problems which appeared in the process of this study, the following can be suggested : First, we should develop learning materials fit for low level students so that they could understand functional concept. Second, we should continue to teach the basic problems like solving relation formula, image, and range, and understanding functional concept in graph until students are able to understand them exactly. Third, since the goals of Unit Function in a middle school textbook is to solve problems related to everyday life through functional thinking, there should be change in constructing systematic contents of Unit Function in a middle school textbook.

교수·학습자료용 기록정보콘텐츠의 구조에 관한 연구 -영국 TNA와 미국 NARA를 중심으로 (A Study on structures of Archival Contents for Teaching-Learning Materials-Focusing on the TNA of UK and the NARA of USA)

  • 해외 보존기록관리기관이 홈페이지에서 제공하는 '교사와 학생'을 대상으로 하는 교육용 프로그램 서비스는 이제 주요 서비스 메뉴이다. 국내의 여러 선행연구에선 해외의 교육용 프로그램 서비스 사례를 앞 다투어 소개하고 벤치마킹의 필요성을 주장하여 왔지만, 관련 프로그램의 소개 수준에 그치면서 심층적인 사례 분석은 미흡한 감이 없지 않았다. 이에 본 논문은 보다 심층적인 사례 분석을 통하여 교수 학습자료용 기록정보콘텐츠의 내용 구성 및 구조적 특징을 조명하는 것이 필요하다는 인식에서 출발하였다. 먼저, 영국 TNA의 교육 사이트를 개괄하고, 주요한 교수 학습자료용 콘텐츠인 '토픽' 메뉴에서 '냉전' 콘텐츠를 샘플로 선택하여 그 내용 구성 및 구조적 특징을 분석하였다. 미국 NARA의 경우도 교육 사이트를 개괄하고 주요한 콘텐츠인 '기록 수업' 메뉴의 '매카시' 콘텐츠의 내용 구성 및 구조적 특징을 분석하여 일반화하고자 하였다. 해외의 교수 학습자료용 기록정보콘텐츠의 구조를 심층 분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 교과서와 같은 일관성 있는 내용 구성 체제로 개발되어야 한다. 둘째, 일차 사료를 원활하게 해독할 수 있는 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 셋째, 비용 문제를 고려하여 기록정보콘텐츠를 학령별, 교과 간에 연계 활용 할 수 있는 방식으로 개발해야 한다. 넷째, 일차 사료 선별 시 텍스트가 포함된 문서 사료를 우선으로 선별한다. 다섯째, 교수 학습자료용 기록정보콘텐츠는 반드시 교육 과정과 연계해서 개발하여 국가적 차원에서 활용을 촉진하도록 한다.

과학교과서와 그에 관련된 교수 학습자료의 활용 실태 조사 (On Science Textbooks and Related Teaching Learning Materials)

  • The purpose of the study was to establish a new view of textbook which may contribute to the abolishment of the instruction mainly based on the only textbook and to the promotion of creativities of students. We first reviewed science textbooks and related teaching-learning materials of foreign countries with emphasis on the relationship among textbook and teaching-learning materials and practical use of them. In western countries the roles of traditional textbook has been changed. That is, various kinds of materials such as reading book, work-book, worksheet, experimental guidebook, filmstrips are used to raise effect of instruction besides of traditional type of textbook. Secondary, we identified the problems related to the science textbook-view of textbook, textbook contents, practical use of textbook-through opinion survey administered to principals akd teachers of elementary schools. The results of the survey are as follows; Concerning the view of textbook, most teachers did not recognize textbook as an absolute materials. They thought that textbook contents could be taught reorganized according to their judgements. On the contrary, teachers responded to the question of whether or not they follow contents of textbook as they are presented in it were approximately 30%. Further, more than 75% of them have seldom used instructional materials except textbooks. In order to revise the problems of our present textbook as stated above, a new view of textbook should be established. We, above all, established 4 basic premises for searching a new view of textbook. 1) Textbook should not be considered as the only material but as being at the center of various teaching -learning materials. 2) The importance of textbook should be illustrated Among Curriculum, textbook and related teaching-learning materials, instruction and evaluation. 3. Textbook contents should not be regarded as definitely fixed or absolute ones. 4. Human being can understand environment more fully by commanding his swnsory organ multilaterally. Under these premises we disscussed about curriculum and textbook, textbook, and instruction, akd evaluation method.

대학 교수자의 수업전문성 향상을 목적으로 하는 e-티칭 포트폴리오의 구성요소 탐색 (An Exploration on Elements of e-Teaching Portfolio for Enhancing Teaching Expertise in Higher Education)

  • This study has explored the elements of e-teaching portfolio for enhancing teaching expertise in higher education. This study is carried out through the literature review and expert's focus group interview. As the result of this study, seven elements of e-teaching portfolio for enhancing teaching expertise in higher education have been found. First, 'personal background' include curriculum vitae, course responsibility, and other educational activities. Second, 'teaching philosophy' include the principals on teaching and learning, statements of teaching philosophy. Third, 'learning environment' include the characteristics of students, the previous learning contents, and physical environment. Forth, 'course contents and methods' include teaching strategies and instructional materials, Fifth, 'instructional evaluation' includes the principals of evaluation and the examples of learning outcomes. Sixth, 'endeavor for improvement of instruction' include evidence of activity for teaching improvement and instruction feedback from peer and students. And e-teaching portfolio also includes research career and awards history element.

한국 가정생활 문화 관련 단원의 학습에서 ICT활용 수업이 가정교과에 대한 흥미, 전통문화의식, 학업성취 및 수행평가 미치는 효과 (The Effects of ICT Teaching Method on Interest in Home Economics, Consciousness on Traditional Culture, Achievement Test, and Performance Assessment in High School Borne Economics Instruction)

  • This research was to verity the effects of ICT teaching method in high school home economics. The research questions for this study were as follows: 1. Is the ICT teaching method effective in increasing students' interest in home economics and consciousness on traditional culture in teaming the unit of ‘Korean traditional culture of home life’? 2. Is the ICT teaching method effective in improving students' achievement test and performance assessment in teaming the unit of ‘Korean traditional culture of home life’? This study is carried out with following procedure: developing the homepage and lesson plans for ICT teaching, constructing questionnaire, and testing its reliability, pre-testing, treatment for 8 weeks, and post-testing. Two groups were arranged for 8 weeks experiment from May 7,2001 through June 30,2001. Sixteen hours of ICT teaching and 8 hours of traditional lecture for experiment group whereas 8 hours of ICT teaching and 16 hours of traditional lecture for comparison group were input. SAS program was used for statistical analysis, and independent sample t-test and matched pairs t-test were peformed for answering research questions. The results of this study were as following: 1. Sixteen hours of ICT teaching and 8 hours of traditional lecture for experiment group was effective in increasing consciousness on traditional culture and performance assessment. 2. Eight hours of ICT teaching and 16 hours of traditional lecture for comparison group was not effective in learning home economics. This means that at least 2 hours of ICT teaching is demanding for effective learning. This study concluded that ICT teaching will be effectively applied in high school home economic with well developed ICT teaching materials. And home economics educators should continuously put effort in developing curricular, teaching materials, and teaching methods to raise students' interest in home economics.

절차적 시뮬레이션 기법을 적용한 중학교 컴퓨터 교과용 웹 코스웨어 개발 (Development of Web Coursewares for Middle School Computer Subject Applying Procedural Simulation Skill)

  • 컴퓨터 교과는 교과의 특성상 실습 중심의 수업이 강조된다. 이러한 실습 수업에 적절히 활용할 수 있는 교수-학습 자료는 열악한 실습 수업 환경을 개선하는 자원의 역할을 한다. 웹 코스웨어는 학습자에게 학습 동기 및 흥미를 유발시키고 자기 주도학습을 통해 학습자의 수준 및 요구에 맞는 학습 활동을 가능하게 하는 교수-학습 자료로 활용될 수 있다. 이와 같은 필요에 따라 본 연구에서는 중학교 컴퓨터 교과용 교수-학습 자료로서 15종의 웹 코스웨어를 개발하였다. 개발된 웹 코스웨어는 수업 적용의 다양성 및 교사의 창의적인 교수-학습 자료 개발 유도를 위해 상이한 설계 방식을 갖는다. 또한, 웹 코스웨어 내용 중 실습 부분은 절차적 시뮬레이션 기법을 적용한 모의 학습의 형태로 구성하였다. 이는 학습자의 개별적인 실습을 가능하게 하여 현재와 같은 일 대 다 지도 방식의 실습 환경을 어느 정도 개선할 것으로 기대한다.

현행 초등 과학 교육에 대한 현장의 실태 조사 - 전라남도를 중심으로 - (Survey on the Current Science Education at Elementary School in Jeonnam Province)

  • The survey is intended to improve science education by the analysis of problems produced in the following nine aspects (objectives, contents, materials, inquring methods, teaching methods, teachers, children, evalutions, admininative supports) during the past five years often the revision of new science curriculum. 1. View for science education. 1) The teacher's and children's view for science education can be seen renewed, being different from the old one. 2) Inquring method in learning and teaching began to take firm root and children came to know that it is the only way to study science. 3) Writers think that the new science education has stepped into the stage of being fixed to a considerable degree. 2. The aspect of administrative policy. 1) The amount of materials in possession is small and the present materials are lacking in solidity and precision. 2) Class room teacher's over load with miscellaneous things is a difficult problem to solve. 3) The shortage of the printed materials and books for children and teachers has an influence on the development of inquring method. 4) It causes cramming to examine all children at the same time by paper test. 5) It is more desirable to appoint qualified teacher only for science teaching. 3. Contents of science curriculum. 1) In current science textbooks. There can be found some contents which are difficult for teachers to understand and not in accordance with the reality of Korea. Therefore, it is imperative that contents of science textbooks should be reexamined. 2) As it is hard to teach concepts of reciprocal action and to prepare materials with teaching of the system of biological concepts, the teaching of contents is likely to be a cramming. 4. The aspect of in-service education. 1) It is obsolutely predominant reation that in-service education is making a great contribution to class room teaching. 2) As adiministrators' policy for science education has a great effect, in-service education for their enlightenment is needed.

Development of teaching and learning materials using Arduino and piezo buzzer

  • 본 연구에서 저자는 C언어 프로그래밍 교육에서 아두이노를 활용한 교수-학습 자료의 개발 사례를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 주제 선정-구현 방법 탐색-실험-교수학습자료 제작-수업 적용-개선 등 6단계의 저비용 마이크로컨트롤러 교수-학습 개발 모형을 이용하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존 아두이노 교재에 소개되어 있는 소스 코드와 회로의 구성을 분석한 후, 이를 프로그래밍 교육주제에 맞게 재구성하였다. 또한, 아두이노와 피에조 버저 등의 재료를 이용하여 간단히 회로를 구성하는 방법을 제시하여 회로 구성에 많은 시간이 소요되지 않게 하였다. 이 회로를 이용하여 여러 가지 프로그래밍 내용 요소의 교수-학습 활동에 활용한 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 기존 화면상에서만 확인할 수 있는 C언어 프로그래밍 실습 내용을 직접 실물로 체험할 수 있는 사례를 제시하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

중등영어교육 현장에서 협동수업에 대한 학습자 인식 연구 (A study on the perception of Korean EFL learners on team teaching in secondary English classroom)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the preconceptions Korean EFL learners have about team teaching in the field of English education at a secondary level. Team teaching is a method of teaching where a Korean English teacher works in co-junction with a native English speaker. Generally speaking, when we discuss teaching methods for a foreign language, the most important objective is to improve our communication skills. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect on communication skills when team teaching is employed, and to find ways to maximize the benefit when team teaching. The underlying issues are; firstly, what are the precedent conditions for team teaching? Secondly, what are the best teaching methods and preparations for teaching materials for improving the effectiveness of team teaching? Third, how do the programs for team teaching with native teachers assist in improving the student's communication skills? Ideally, this study will assist in overcoming the fear that foreign language learners have when communicating with real native speakers.
