  • This paper reports the current status of development of the Korean speech recognition platform (ECHOS). We implement new modules including ETSI feature extraction, backward search with trigram, and utterance verification. The ETSI feature extraction module is implemented by converting the public software to an object-oriented program. We show that trigram language modeling in the backward search pass reduces the word error rate from 23.5% to 22% on a large vocabulary continuous speech recognition task. We confirm the utterance verification module by examining word graphs with confidence score.

  • The IPSE(Integrated Project Support Environment) tool can be seen as a result of an attempt to synthesize the key aspects of language-centered, specific methodology-based and toolkit oriented environments, which are current CASE tools into an organic whole. The IPSE approach based on a process model is regarded as an effective way to implement integrated CASE. The PM-CASE(Process Model based CASE) tool is currently a prototype which draw diagrams describing processes by using a new modeling technique. Attributes related with a task of withen the process model should be defined an saved the database. These attributed are used to retrieve the information of products, and to call the tool related which the task. In this paper, TSEE(Process centered Software Engineering Environment) tools are compared and analyzed. By describing the basic concept, architecture and design of PM-CASE tool, a method of building an process model-based CASE tool is proposed be support an effect software development and management.

  • Since embedded software is very dependent for target hardware architecture, characteristics of the platform must be considered when designing the software. Furthermore, MPSoCs consists of heterogeneous hardware components that are specified in micro level. Thus mapping of embedded software for MPSoCs should be considered the characteristics. In this paper, we provide an approach to automatic mapping PIM (Platform Independent Model) of an embedded software to PSM(Platform Specific Model) for MPSoC(Multi Processor System On Chip) and verify its effectiveness with simulation. In the proposed approach, tasks are derived from an object oriented model based on the UML (Unified Modeling Language). And then the types of the derived tasks are identified. With the identified types and inter relationship between tasks, the tasks are assigned to appropriate heterogeneous hardware components. We expect that the approach improve accuracy of the assigning and concurrency of the deployed software.

  • In Europe, the diversity in religions, cultures, languages and historical backgrounds is enormous. World War II and the Soviet Regime have played a large part in this and the flow of refugees from other continents increases the pluralism. How can religious education add to bridging between differences? The language across European countries is different, literally between countries, but also figuratively speaking and even inside individual countries. These differences occur in cultural sense and across age groups as well. Secondary education has the task to form young people to become firmly rooted people who can hold their own in society. It is essential that they learn to examine their own core values and their roots. Recognising their values should be a main focus of religious education. However, schools are currently accommodating increasing numbers of non-religious pupils. What role do religious values still play in this situation? How do pupils feel about active involvement in religious institutions, and about basing life choices on religious beliefs? Can other, non-religious values be detected which could form the basis for value-oriented personal formation? Research of these subjects has been ongoing in the Netherlands for more than twenty years and is currently being expanded to the Czech Republic and(former East) Germany. These are also secularized countries but have a very different history. Does the history and context of these countries play a role, and does this show in the values that are important to pupils? A comparative pilot study is being conducted as start of this broadening perspective geared towards greater insight into the values of pupils in these three European countries. This information helps to design appropriate new forms of religious value-oriented worldview education.

  • Text augmentation is a methodology that creates new augmented texts by transforming or generating original texts for the purpose of improving the performance of NLP models. However existing text augmentation techniques have limitations such as lack of expressive diversity semantic distortion and limited number of augmented texts. Recently text augmentation using large language models and few-shot learning can overcome these limitations but there is also a risk of noise generation due to incorrect generation. In this paper, we propose a text augmentation method called TAGS that generates multiple candidate texts and selects the appropriate text as the augmented text. TAGS generates various expressions using few-shot learning while effectively selecting suitable data even with a small amount of original text by using contrastive learning and similarity comparison. We applied this method to task-oriented chatbot data and achieved more than sixty times quantitative improvement. We also analyzed the generated texts to confirm that they produced semantically and expressively diverse texts compared to the original texts. Moreover, we trained and evaluated a classification model using the augmented texts and showed that it improved the performance by more than 0.1915, confirming that it helps to improve the actual model performance.

  • The development process of cyber literature theory in the 1990s clearly shows the duality of the pursuit of symbolic power and desire through the formation and conflict of literary fields, collective intelligence. All desires are bound to be power-oriented, and cyber literature is meaningful in that network-space critics developed while advocating the humanities of coexistence. The failure of cyber literature theory is due to the conflicting desire of critical power between real and virtual spaces. Cyber literature theory in the 1990s was the first literary response to the birth of artificial nature, although the contradiction of desires revealed in symbolic power and the limitations of barking are clear. Literature discourse has always explored the relationship between the social conditions of the time (including technological progress) and art texts. Producing a new critical discourse encompassing the whole within the literary field of artificial nature is an important task in literature in the era of technology compilation, and humanities and technology must coexist. Through this paper, we examined the impact of the birth of artificial nature on humanities. This study is an important achievement of humanities engineering that understands, interprets, and leads technology.
