An unmaned surveillance robot consists of rifle, laser receiver, thermal imager, color CCD camera, and laser illuminator. A human guard can be replaced with such a robot to take care dangerous surveillance tasks. Currently most of surveillance robots are mounded at a fixed post to take care of surveillance tasks. In order to watch blind areas, it is necessary to modify such a surveillance robot to become a mobile robot. In this paper, simulation based design procedure of mobile surveillance robot has been introduced. 3D CAD geometry model has been produced using Pro-Engineer. Required pen and tilt motor capacities have been analyzed using ADAMS inverse dynamics analysis. A target tracking and stabilization control algorithm of the mobile surveillance robot has been developed in order to stabilize the system from the motion of the vehicle which experiences the rough terrain. ADAMS-Matlab co-simulation has been also carried out to validate the proposed target tracking and stabilization algorithm.

This study is designed as pilot study to report the efficacy and safety of long term medication of Oncheongeum-gamibang on atopic dermatitis. The patient of atopic dermatitis was asked to take Oncheongeum-gamibang for 3 months. Every end of month, he had gotten hematological test and SCORAD Index examination. After the clinical trial was done, he had additional examination to see the changes and duration of medicinal effect. During the period of taking Onchung-um, estimation of symptoms by SCORAD Index examination showed little bit of improvement while taking medicine and after one month, the improvement was maintained. There were no significant changes in hematologic test and liver function test during and at the end of the clinical trial. We were able to find out that it is effective and safe to take long term medication of Oncheongeum-gamibang for an individual. However, due to deficiency of the cases and immunological values, there will be additional study to make up for better result.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 해양보호구역 제도를 개관하고 제도의 문제점을 도출한 후 해양보호구역의 효과적인 관리를 위한 대안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구결과, 우리나라에는 다양한 법률에 기인해 여러 형태의 해양보호구역이 존재하고 있으나 이를 통합적으로 관리할 수 있는 제도는 마련되지 못한 실정이며 보호구역내 유해행위의 규제에 대한 규정이 미흡하며 해양보호구역의 기능을 제대로 활용하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 해양보호구역 지정 및 관리를 총괄하는 단일법률의 제정, 국가차원의 전담 관리기구 조직, 어업금지 해양보호구역 설정 및 해양보호구역 네트워크 구축 등 네 가지의 정책이 제안되었다.

본 논문에서는 자동으로 점프 동작을 인식하여 촬영하기 위한 점프 동작 인식 알고리즘을 제안하고, 가속도계가 장착된 스마트폰을 이용하여 촬영 시스템을 구현한다. 점프 동작은 개인의 신체적, 성별, 연령별 특성에 따라 다르기 때문에, 이들 특성에 비 의존적인 공통점을 감지할 수 있는 방법이 중요하다. 또한 점프 동작의 지속시간을 고려할 때 감지 알고리즘의 실시간 동작 가능성도 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 고려한 두 가지 알고리즘을 제안하며, 이들을 스마트폰 어플리케이션으로 구현하여 촬영 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 점프 동작 감지와 도약 동작을 포착한 사진 촬영이 가능하였다.

This study aims to identify the degree of safety when mariners take their actions in several different situations. We have carried out many experiments in order to observe mariners' behavior, and then measured the safety level that is based on their actions to avoid dangerous collision situations. One of the most important actions that mariners have to take, either as their daily routine or when they are in a collision situation and then want to avoid that situation is the lookout. In this paper, behaviors on the lookout have been defined as a standard sequence of three steps that are "time of first detection", "time of recognition as risky vessel" and "time of starting avoiding action", and the suitability and applicability of the definition have been shown. And also we propose the risk assessment on the collision and the recommendation for reducing the collision at sea. Some analyzing results and the application of the results are reported. The sequence of lookout is also understood. By combining these knowledge and some systematic studies, we propose the risk assessment on the collision and the recommendation for reducing the collision at sea.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate an education program to take care of the elderly in the rural area. The education program that includes 4 sessions are carried out in the community center. The 4 sessions are to understand rural elderly and volunteer role, help elderly's daily living, aid elderly to use welfare services and support the elderly's leisure. The subjects were 30 persons under 60 years of age living in Jangseong and Hoengsung villages. By paired t-test, knowledge on caring and the attitude for elderly and volunteer showed significant differences between before and after the education program. After the training, 66.7% of the subjects answered 'yes' to the question that asked whether they would like to participate in caring volunteer for neighboring elderly. Subjects's positively changed attitude can stimulate positive behavior that eventually enables them to provide high quality services. The satisfaction of the program showed high scores for contents, place and operation of education.

This research follows the previous research on Kimchi Culture for the Koreans in Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS) and the purpose of this research was to investigate the habits with Kimchi of the Koreans in CIS. The research was carried out with items of the preparation and the preservation of Kimchi. The results were summarized as follows : 1. Abut 95% of above 30 years old of the respondents prepared Kimchi for their family. But 51.9% of under 30 years old and the forth generation of the respondents got Kimchi without self preparation. 2. All the respondents argued that the procedure of Kimchi preparation of the present indifferent from that of the past. 3. 40.2% of the respondents used to take Kimchi after 2~3 days from the preparation and 29.1% used to take after 1~2 days. 52.8% of the respondents would like to eat the well-matured Kimchi and 45.2% to eat Kimchi which was immediately prepared. 4. The most popular container for keeping was the enamel pot and the most popular places for keeping was the refrigerator. The popular keeping containers were a wooden box(61.2%), a earthen vessel(20.1%), a plastic vessel(14.7%) and the popular keeping places were a underfloor(37.9%), veranda (25.0%), underearth(22.9%) in order.

The results of investigation are as follows; 1) Tobacco be transmitted the first year of KwangHea's(reign) from GeeRu(the year of GeeRu), before sixth year of KwangHea's GapIn. 2) By reason of smoking an extreme poison ingerdients is Nicotine, Co, Tar etc three kinds. 3) The number of chemicalcompound in the tobacco smoking. Nicotine play an important part of it makes continue to smoking act. 4) Co, Not only injury vascular in the cell wall but also influence in ardiac muscular tissue. 5) Tar, is play an important part tl determine taste of tobacco or fragrace(a sweet smell). 6) Be demaged in the body with harmful objects of tobacco is first lung cancer, next heart disease, and chronic lung disease etc. 7) Passive smoke(indirect smoke)is first smoker's when have smoking and blow smoke from cigarette take smoking. On second when take smoking as it is burning cagar to end. 8) Female smoker are no good and bring many trouble to the mother's body and fetal body(an unborn child). 9) Nicotine also, like drug and alcohol break out reliance, introspection, poisonous or obstinence syndrome 10) A counterplan about smoke should be settlement with propriety control of smoking and an antismoking(non-smoker).

This study was carried out to examine the actual using condition of Yogawear and consumer's preference of Yogawear with traditional pattern. Yogawear can be developed as a cultural fashion item, because Yoga is getting universal interest with "Wellbeing Trend". A survey with 34 questionnaires was made by 305 consumers who had ever experienced Yoga from July to August, 2006. The results are as follows: 1. Most of objects were female(94%). Those who are in their twenties accounted for 50%, and those who take Yoga practice time less than 1 year accounted 63%, and those who take Yoga practice time less than 1 hour in a week accounted 46%. 2. Respondents who have Yogawear accounted 32% and they bought it in a online-shopping mall(48%), department store(16%) and discount store(11%). 3. Only 31% of respondents were satisfied of their Yogawear but they weren't satisfied about Yogawear Design, fabric and color. 4. Most preferred Yogawear style was pastel colored 'shirt & Pants' style with long sleeve using cotton fabric. 5. They liked much more modern Yogawear having korean image than completely korean style Yogawear or modern style Yogawear. 6.The benefits of Yogawear were 3 dimension: appearance, easy management, physical properties.

The advantages of implementing a virtual channel can be derived from the notion of the 'death of distance' that would result from electronic commerce. According to this view, the internet was going to make distance irrelevant, in that firms would no longer need to establish a physical presence in a geographical location in order to do business there. However, on-line firms selling physical products could take advantages of presence in the related off-line(brick and mortar) industrial area. This paper developed a conceptual framework that highlights the various types of synergies by location on-line businesses in the related off-line industrial area. Using data from 96 on-line ventures selling physical products, factor analysis was used to figuring out six synergies including improved customer trust, value-added service, cost savings, personnel and organizational efficiency, sharing products and customer information, relationship with suppliers, and relationship with local government. The six empirically derived critical synergy factors were then used to examine how they improve performance of the on-line ventures measured by Balanced Scorecard(BSC). According to lthe results, we concluded that the on-line firms selling physical products can take advantages of presence in the related off-line industrial area.
