  • Determination of operational dimensions and tolerances is complex if there exist inconsistencies between operational and design specifications. Dimension and tolerance charts (D&T charts) have been used to establish the relationships among operational dimensions in complex machining. This chart proves that individual operations can be harmonized when they are interconnected. However, it is hard to generate the chart manually. Because operational dimensions and tolerances must meet the design specifications, the dimensions and tolerances of interconnected operations have to be verified serially for economical operations. In this paper, the chart is automatically generated from the interconnected operations. More importantly, all operational dimensions and tolerances displayed in the chart have been verified by using LP to meet the design specifications. Finally, the chart is converted to an operational routing sheet that contains a detailed process plan along with cutting speed, feed rate, and operational references based on material hardness, surface finish, and tool nose radius.

  • This paper describes a fault diagnosis method by a T-invariance of Petri Net (PN). First, a complicated fault system with some failure is modeled into a PN graphic expressions. Next, the PN model is analyzed by using the backward chaining of T-invariance to find out causes of the faults. In this step, an inter-node search technique which is suggested in this paper is applied for reducing searching area in the fault system. Also, a novel idea to compose incidence matrices which have different dimension each other in PN model is proposed. As the new knowledges which is discovered newly about faults can be added easily to conventional systems, the diagnosis system will be very flexible. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the automobile fault diagnosis system to confirm the validity of the method.

  • We find a $C^{\infty}$ one-parameter family of Riemannian metrics $g_t$ on $\mathbb{R}^3$ for $0{\leq}t{\leq}{\varepsilon}$ for some number ${\varepsilon}$ with the following property: $g_0$ is the Euclidean metric on $\mathbb{R}^3$, the scalar curvatures of $g_t$ are strictly decreasing in t in the open unit ball and $g_t$ is isometric to the Euclidean metric in the complement of the ball.

  • Broaching is widely used for the machining of inner shaped slots in work-pieces. The broach tool is moved vertically (usually by hydraulic power) through the work-piece. Broaching occurs with the work-pieced fix while the broach tool traverses through material and shears it. To produce a T/F driven gear both an outside cutting and an inside cutting are needed. The outside cut determines the tooth profile and the inside cut determines the inner dimension. Broaching can cause problems with concentricity. In the current study, the characteristics of shearing along the cutting blade and the broaching of a T/F driven gear are considered.

  • Teacher knowledge needed for teaching is bound to be revealed in teaching the subject matter in relation to the given instructional context. Given this, recent studies on mathematics teacher knowledge tend to analyze actual Mathematical Knowledge in Teaching [MKiT]. This study focused on the dimension of transformation and its related codes in Knowledge Quartet, which has been recognized as a MKiT framework, and analyzed a Korean teacher's transformation knowledge revealed in her elementary mathematics teaching. The analysis showed that the codes related to the dimension of transformation were useful in analyzing teacher knowledge in the Korean context. However, a few codes need to be revised or added for more suitability. On the basis of these results, this paper closes with implications for analyzing teacher knowledge in mathematics teaching.

  • System level diagnosis algorithms use the properties of t-diagnosable system where the maximum number of the faults does not exceed t. The existing diagnosis algorithms have limit when dealing with large fault sets in large multiprocessor systems. Somani and Peleg proposed t/k-diagnosable system to diagnose more faults than t (dimension) by allowing upper bounded few number of units to be diagnosed incorrectly. In this paper, we propose hypercube diagnosis algorithm using t/k-diagnosable system. When the number of faults exceeds t, we allow k faults to be diagnosed incorrectly. Simulation shows that the performance of the proposed algorithm is better than Feng's HADA algorithm. The proposed algorithm also gives similar performance compared to HYP-DIAG algorithm.

  • Introduction : The setup error due to the patient and the staff from radiation treatment as the reason which is important the treatment record could be decided is a possibility of effect. The SET-UP ERROR of the patient analyzes the effect of dose distribution and DVH from radiation treatment of the patient. Material & Methode : This test uses human phantom and when C-T scan doing, It rotated the Left direction of the human phantom and it made SET-UP ERROR , Standard plan and 3mm, 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm with to distinguish, it made the C-T scan error. With the result, The SET-UP ERROR got each C-T image Using RTP equipment It used the plan which is used generally from clinical - Box plan, 3Dimension plan( identical angle 5beam plan) Also, ( CTV+1cm margin, CTV+0.5cm margin, CTV+0.3,cm margin = PTV) it distinguished the standard plan and each set-up error plan and The plan used a dose distribution and the DVH and it analyzed Result : The Box4 the plan and 3Dimension plan which it bites it got similar an dose distribution and DVH in 3mm, 5mm From rotation error and Rectilinear movement( $0\%{\sim}2\%$ ). Rotation error and rectilinear error 7mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm appeared effect it will go mad to a enough change in treatment ( $2\%{\sim}^11\%$ ) Conclusion : The diminishes the effect of the SET-UP ERROR must reduce move with tension of the patient Also, we are important accessory development and the supply that it reducing of reproducibility and the move

  • Objectives : This study is planned to classify correlation between thoracic kyphosis angle and prevalence of cervical intervertebral disc. Methods : We Measured the thoracic kyphosis angel of the 110 men and 179 women patients with neck pain in 00 Korean Medicine Hospital. We use Cobb's angle method and Thoracic cage dimension method for measuring the thoracic kyphosis. And We use Magentic Resonance Imaging(MRI) for classifying the patient who has cervical intervertebral disc or not. Results : 1. There was statistical difference on the thoracic cage dimension with gender(P<0.001), while there was no statistical difference on Cobb's angle with gender(P=0.882). 2. Age and thoracic cage dimension(r=0.383) is statistically more correlative than age and cobb's angle(r=-0.59). Conclusions : 1. Thoracic cage dimension and gender, Thoracic cage dimension and age were statistically concerned on patient who has neck pain, while Cobb's angle had no statistical correlation with age and gender. 2. There was no statistical difference on the Cobb's angle and Thoracic cage Dimension between patient who has one or more cervical disc herniation(Protrusion disc, Extrusion disc) segment and patient who didn't have cervical disc herniation(Protrusion disc, Extrusion disc) segment.

  • The influence of compaction pressure and sintering temperature on the hydraulic cylinder block fabricated by powder metallurgy is investigated in this study. The cylinder block is powder compacted under various compaction pressures and sintered under various sintering temperatures, and its density and dimensions are measured to reveal the relation of the process condition with the product quality. Moreover, finite element analyses of the density distributions are conducted under the same conditions with the experiments and the predicted results are compared with the measured ones.

  • This study is searching the characteristics of transferred element in composition of architectural spaces ; it is ultimate goal that frame of reference is arranged system about path of horizontal direction is two-dimension and stairs of vertical in three-dimension as transferred element in Architectural plan. With the exception of stylized discussion or rhetorical analysis about these, it is analysed as element in physical order of a whole architecture in relation to another elements in composition of architecture spaces. And one who is perceptible and cognitive through spaces is the subject. Consequently , these elements are classified concept of location and circulation. And it can't think that the formal is divided the latter for accept behavior of pedestrican and thinking system to consider verticality and time property is absolutely conceptual elements in space of architectural plan.
