The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in family cohesion and family adaptability between college students and their parents to identify the factors that affect family cohesion and family adaptability using a descriptive research study design. The subjects of this study were 197 college students and their parents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression analysis by SPSS for Windows (ver. 22.0). The mean of the family function index of the subjects was $7.42{\pm}2.28$ on the scale of 1 to 10, and that of the normal family functional group was 65.48%. There was no significant difference in family cohesion between the college students and their parents, and family adaptability was significantly different in discipline(t=-3.100, p<.01) and role(t=.212, p<.05). The factors affecting the family adaptability of the students were the sharing of family activities, emotional intimacy and attending family events, which showed a combined explanatory power of 45.9%. The factors affecting the family cohesion of the parents were housework assignment, emotional intimacy and attending family events, which showed a combined explanatory power of 51.4%. Family emotional intimacy and attending family events, as well as the sharing of family activities, were found to be important to the family adaptability of the college students and housework assignment was found to be important to the family cohesion of the parents.

This paper examines the values of various library functions according to users' points of view. To execute this study, the several 'circumstance', related variables and 'condition' variables that lead to factors or functions of academic libraries were measured. Analysis was carried out in three stages. In the first, factor analysis was used on the three multi variable dimensions to ensure that the groups of variables loaded significantly and uniquely on the respective dimensions. The second phase of analysis involved the use of binary logistic regression analysis to complete research models. In the third phase, t-test was used to identify significant differences in the independent variables for additional explanation of the models. Books, competition & effectiveness and fee verses free (fee-free hereafter) are the three main factors that distinguish not only the purpose of using an academic library but also the degree of influence on knowledge, information and library facilities for the users. In addition, the fee-free factor related to digital library facilities was also uncovered.

In this study, the fatty acid (FA) composition of commercial sesame oils (n = 62) was investigated using gas chromatography with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Multivariate statistical techniques, including principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA), were applied to the chromatographic data of the FAs to discriminate the geographical origin of sesame oils. A statistically significant difference was observed in the content of C16:0, C18:0, C18:1, and C18:2 between domestic and imported sesame oils. A satisfactory recovery rate of 82.8-100.2 % was achieved for C16:0, C18:0, C18:1, C18:2, and C18:3. The correlation of C16:0, C18:1, and C18:2 in domestic sesame oils showed opposite trends compared to imported oils. The PCA plot demonstrated that sesame oils were clustered in distinct groups according to their origin. LDA was used to predict sesame oil samples in one of the two groups. C16:0 (Wilks λ = 0.361) and C18:1 (Wilks λ = 0.637) demonstrated the highest discriminant power for classifying the origin of the samples. The correct prediction rates were 88.9 % and 100 % for the domestic and imported samples, respectively. Further, 60 of the 62 sesame oil samples (96.8 %) were correctly classified, indicating that this approach can be used as a valuable tool to predict and classify the geographical origin of sesame oils.

Purpose : Endometriosis is a steroid dependent disease with a particular genetic background but the location of possible genomic aberrations are still poorly clarified. This study was designed to investigate the associations between the polymorphism of the progesterone receptor gene (PROGINS) and endometriosis. Methods : 100 women with surgically diagnosed and histologically confirmed endometriosis were enrolled as a patient population and a total of 110 female control subjects undergoing health examination were enrolled as control population. DNA extraction and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used to genotype women for the presence of the PROGINS polymorphism in peripheral blood samples. The x2-test was used to compare genotype distributions between endometriosis and controls. Results : T1/T2 heterozygote was found to be one patient in each group, and the rest of the subjects were all T1/T1 homozygotes. There was no difference in the genotype distribution between the endometriosis group and the control group. Conclusion : These results suggest that the progesterone receptor gene PROGINS is not associated with the risk for endometriosis.

The purpose of this study was to identify the nursing college students' problem solving ability, nurses' image and leadership and compare problem solving ability, nurses' amage and leadership after management clinical practice. A descriptive survey design was used 60 nursing students who 4th grade, during August 2014. Data were analyzed using mean, t-test, ANOVA with SPSS 21.0. The highest area was 'get a gob' in application motivation, 'from nurse during clinical training' in most influencing events. Satisfaction with nursing as major was 83.4% above 'moderate'. There were significant mean differences in nurses' image according to having relation nurse and satisfaction with nursing as major, leadership according to application motivation and satisfaction with nursing as major and personality, problem solving ability according to having relation nurse and personality. The subject scored 3.32 points of full 5 on problem solving ability, 3.41 of full 5 on nurses' image and 3.62 of full 5 on leadership before management clinical practice. Scores for problem solving ability(t=-2.15, p=.03), nurses' image(t=-2.67, p=.01) and leadership(t=-2.20, p=.03) showed statistically significant increases after management practice. The result should be reflected in the development of effective teaching for management clinical practice.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the recognition of the professionalism required for strengthening the effective career guidance capacity of the secondary career teachers who are required to prepare for the coming fourth industrial revolution era. Based on these research objectives, we derived the required roles(8), the required competencies(20), and the contents(23) for enhancing professionalism by the required competencies, based on this, the questionnaire was composed and 217 respondents were collected and analyzed. First, the t-test was conducted to confirm the statistically significant difference between the current level and the important level of each content item by each role. As a result, it was found that in all roles except role of 'administrator' The t-value is statistically significant and the t-value distribution is high. Second, the demand value calculation and the priority ranking using the Borich demand calculation formula were found, and as a result, the directionality between the t value and the Borich demand was in agreement. Third, as a result of prioritizing using the Locus for Focus model, the contents of all 5 (middle school 7, high school 2) education contents were given priority. Fourth, three middle schools and five high schools were derived from the subordinate. Finally, we confirmed the relevance of the contents of education to actual educational necessity. Although this study has many limitations and limitations due to the fact that there are few prior data due to the segmentation of the subject related to the 4th Industrial Revolution and career guidance, it is necessary to develop educational training program I hope to be able to use it as basic data of various follow-up studies and make some suggestions.
This study was conducted to research the Selection Attribute for Pension which is located in the region of S. Gyeonggi-do. We intended to find the best choice point for reserving the pension using IPA and suggest or provide strategic implications and marketing method for running the pension. The survey was conducted from the early January to the end of March in 2012 with one to one method. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 229 responded questionnaires were reliable to be used as a sample. The result of the survey was analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 version for window with Paired t-test and IPA method. Frequency Analysis was also conducted for the characteristic of samples. Findings are presented and discussed in three areas. First, the cleanliness of rooms, service for customer, heating and cooling system are the key important factors for the choice of pensions. Secondly, all factors are statistically significant level(p<0.01, p<0.001) as a results of performing IPA method. Thirdly, the result has shown that the varity of programs in the pension have significant impact on the customers' choice and satisfaction.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the rearing, health and nutrition services through intervention in GP-GC (grandparents-grandchildren) families. Methods: A structured questionnaire was administered in January 2008 and January 2009 to 55(70) grandparents of GP-GC families who received intervention services also GP-GC families that did not receive services. The study area was the city of Chunnam Province, South Korea. The intervention services were provided by electronic voucher one day per week. The questionnaire assessed the general characteristics of the grandparents, childcare stress and burden, health status (ADL, IADL, depression, subjective health status and fall index) and mini nutritional assessment(MNA). The data were analyzed using SPSS software and an F-test, Chi-squared test and t-test. Results: The stress of grandparents resulting from childcare was high, but depression in grandparents perceived by grandchildren was significantly lower in served GP-GC families than in non-served GP-GC families. Differences in scores of affection (t=2.12, df=116, p<.05), automatics (t=2.92, df=116, p<.01), realistic(t=2.24, df=116, p<.05), and level of depression(t=2.90, df=116, p<.01) were significant. Incidences of acute disease, IADL cognitive fuction and depression of grandparents were slightly higher. Intervention services for GP-GC families had an impact on the childcare attitude and health status of grandparents. The intervention services of nutrition for grandparents were not promoted, but the scoring for subjective nutrition status were statistically higher for the served group (t=18.230, p<.0001). Conclusions: This study found that intervention programs of childcare services and health and nutrition management are effective for grandparents of GP-GC families. Intervention services for GP-GC family should establish the political issue.
A statistical model to predict soil temperature from the ambient meteorological factors including mean, maximum and minimum air temperatures, precipitation, wind speed and snow depth combined with Fourier time series expansion was developed with the data measured at the Suwon Meteorolical Service from 1979 to 1988. The stepwise elimination technique was used for statistical analysis. For the yearly oscillation model for soil temperature with 8 terms of Fourier expansion, the mean square error was decreased with soil depth showing 2.30 for the surface temperature, and 1.34-0.42 for 5 to 500-cm soil temperatures. The $r^2$ ranged from 0.913 to 0.988. The number of lag days of air temperature by remainder analysis was 0 day for the soil surface temperature, -1 day for 5 to 30-cm soil temperature, and -2 days for 50-cm soil temperature. The number of lag days for precipitaion, snow depth and wind speed was -1 day for the 0 to 10-cm soil temperatures, and -2 to -3 days for the 30 to 50-cm soil teperatures. For the statistical soil temperature prediction model combined with the yearly oscillation terms and meteorological factors as remainder terms considering the lag days obtained above, the mean square error was 1.64 for the soil surfac temperature, and ranged 1.34-0.42 for 5 to 500cm soil temperatures. The model test with 1978 data independent to model development resulted in good agreement with $r^2$ ranged 0.976 to 0.996. The magnitudes of coeffcicients implied that the soil depth where daily meteorological variables night affect soil temperature was 30 to 50 cm. In the models, solar radiation was not included as a independent variable ; however, in a seperated analysis on relationship between the difference(${\Delta}Tmxs$) of the maximum soil temperature and the maximum air temperature and solar radiation(Rs ; $J\;m^{-2}$) under a corn canopy showed linear relationship as $${\Delta}Tmxs=0.902+1.924{\times}10^{-3}$$ Rs for leaf area index lower than 2 $${\Delta}Tmxs=0.274+8.881{\times}10^{-4}$$ Rs for leaf area index higher than 2.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of portfolio on the organization and the quantity of the students’ science concepts. Two fourth grade classes were selected from an elementary school in Pyungtaek-shi, Kyunggi-do, and one class is assigned to experimental group, the other control group. Experimental group received portfolio teaching, and control group received conventional instruction. The effects of portfolio teaching were investigated with students’ mind maps. Students participated had training to develop mind maps, and developed mind maps four times during learning two units, strata and fossils, and change by heat. Mind maps developed by students were scored and analyzed with SPSS. The class with portfolio instruction showed higher scores than control group. In conclusion, the portfolio teaching enhances the organization and the quantity of students’ science concepts.
