  • The purpose of this paper is to derive a perturbation theory of evolution systems of the hyperbolic second order hyperbolic equations. We give an example of a partial functional equation as an application of the preceding result in case of the mixed problems for hyperbolic equations of second order with unbounded principal operators.

  • We establish a link between the study of completely integrable systems of partial differential equations and the study of generic submanifolds in $\mathbb{C}$. Using the recent developments of Cauchy-Riemann geometry we provide the set of symmetries of such a system with a Lie group structure. Finally we determine the precise upper bound of the dimension of this Lie group for some specific systems of partial differential equations.

  • We show the existence of at least two solutions for a class of systems of the critical growth nonlinear suspension bridge equations with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition. We first show that the system has a positive solution under suitable conditions, and next show that the system has another solution under the same conditions by the linking arguments.

  • We show the existence of at least two nontrivial solutions for a class of the systems of the nonlinear elliptic equations with Dirichlet boundary condition under some conditions for the nonlinear term. We obtain this result by using the variational linking theory in the critical point theory.

  • In this paper, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a general class of three-point boundary value problems for a coupled system of nonlinear fractional differential equations. The differential operator is taken in the Caputo fractional derivatives. By using Green's function, we transform the derivative systems into equivalent integral systems. The existence is based on Schauder fixed point theorem and contraction mapping principle. Finally, some examples are given to show the applicability of our results.

  • The homogenization of non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations on anisotropic heterogeneous media is investigated. The effective coefficients of the homogenized equations are found. It is pointed out that the resulting homogenized limit systems are of the same form of non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations with suitable coefficients. Also, steady Stokes equations as cell problems are identified. A compactness theorem is proved in order to deal with time dependent homogenization problems.
