This paper proposes an intelligent simulation generator, called INSIMS, for manufacturing systems. The INSIMS provides an interactive dialogue interactive dialogue interface and code generation tools for modeling and code genration of manufacturing systems. The interactive dialogue interface helps non-expert simulation modeler specify manufacturing systems with ease. After completing the model construction processes, the modeling specifications are automatically converted into SLAM II codes by code generation tools. To validate the usefulness of INSIMS and to illustrate the modeling processes, an example system has been presented.

In this paper, we review the domestic reliability standards and its global counterparts IEC/TC 56 international reliability standards. Recently private transfers of reliability certification control tower has established in Korea. Some check points to consider regarding the control tower transfer process to the non-government organization are suggested. Also the IEC/TC 56 and its relevant reliability standards are introduced. Understanding of the IEC/TC56 system will be helpful for the time of non-government organization control tower transfer in the reliability certificate specification

This Paper, first, tries to optimize the output specifications with uncertain characteristics. And then aims to solve the problem not only by making use of transformed multiple regression equation which can yield objective function of output characteristics but also by formulating developed multiple fuzzy goal programming using fuzzy set theory which can treat uncertainty easily, and the efficiency of these techniques, will be also demonstrated through a case study.

컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어가 개발되어짐에 따라 소프트웨어공학 측면에서 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 컴포넌트 기반 소프트웨어공학(CBSE: Component Based Software Engineering)에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다[1]. 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어를 개발하는데 있어서 최대한 효율성과 생산성을 증가시키기 위해서는 개발초기, 즉 요구사항 분석단계에서 기존에 개발되어진 컴포넌트들 중에 사용자가 요구하는 역할을 수행하는 적절한 후보 컴포넌트를 추출할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 XML의 특성을 활용한 요구사항과 컴포넌트 명세 언어를 정의하고 이를 통해 정형화된 요구사항으로부터 시스템 개발에 필요한 컴포넌트들을 추출하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper presents an optimal robust LQ-PID controller design method for the second-order system with both small state delay and small input delay to satisfy the design specifications in time domain. The modified sensitivity approach method is considered for its optimization.

This paper describes the optimal design of an AWG spectrum to meet various specifications and improve some physical parameters. The objective function is the norm of the difference between design parameters and target values. To obtain the design parameters, the Fourier model is employed and the design variables arc spacing of array waveguide, width of array waveguide, optical path difference, and focal length. The (1+1) Evolution Strategy is employed as the optimization tool. The optimization procedure is applied to a 16-channel AWG and the optimized design variables will considerably improve the system performance.

In order to reduce the shock which may occur during shipping of a drumtype container, rubber mounts were designed using a commercial FEM package and manufactured, and then the performance was checked by static and dynamic test. According to the design specifications, the container system was tested by dropping. The experimental results are compared with the theoretical ones.

In the standard specifications for the urban EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) train, there are several items to ensure safety against accidents. The 21th -23th items have much relation with the crashworthiness of the urban EMU train. In this study, the rubber- tired AGT(Automated Guide-way Transit System) under development by KRRI is numerically evaluated in a crashworthy point of view by applying the above crashworthiness items. The numerical results show the detail design of the AGT satisfies the 22th and 23th items. But the design is recommended to adopt mechanical fuses to reduce the impact accelerations with respect to the 21th item.

최근 DPO (Dynamic Positioning Operator) 자격증을 취득하고자 하는 해기사가 급증하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라에는 취득과정에 필수적인 승선실습을 제공할 수 있는 선박이 거의 없기 때문에 취득까지 많은 시간과 노력을 필요로 하게 되며, 때로는 중도에 포기하는 경우도 발생하고 있다. 이러한 어려움을 완화하고 보다 더 많은 해기사가 DP 선박에 진출할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 DPS (Dynamic Positioning System)를 설치한 실습선이 적극 검토되고 있다. 이러한 요구에 발맞추어 이 논문에서는 실습선에 탑재할 DPS의 요건에 대하여 제안한다.
