Wearable computer systems use the wireless universal serial bus (WUSB), which refers to USB technology that is merged with WiMedia physical layer and medium access control layer (PHY/MAC) technical specifications. WUSB can be applied to wireless personal area network (WPAN) applications as well as wired USB applications such as PAN. WUSB specifications have defined high-speed connections between a WUSB host and WUSB devices for compatibility with USB 2.0 specifications. In this paper, we focus on an integrated system with a WUSB over an IEEE 802.15.6 wireless body area network (WBAN) for wireless wearable computer systems. Due to the portable and wearable nature of wearable computer systems, the WUSB over IEEE 802.15.6 hierarchical medium access control (MAC) protocol has to support power saving operations and integrate WUSB transactions with WBAN traffic efficiently. In this paper, we propose a low-power hibernation technique (LHT) for WUSB over IEEE 802.15.6 hierarchical MAC to improve its energy efficiency. Simulation results show that the LHT also integrates WUSB transactions and WBAN traffic efficiently while it achieves high energy efficiency.

To understand current status for the utilization of Korean military specifications(KDS) and other standards/specifications in munitions companies, we have surveyed 150 companies mainly related with electrical and electronic industry. Most of the companies have expected that the harmonization of KDS and KS would bring a positive effect on their business, especially from the point of quality control, productivity increase, the reduction of expenditure for standard management and so on. This survey result will help to build more user-friendly management system for KDS as well as KS.

This study was conducted to improve the current regulation guidelines for developing traditional Korean medicines with effectiveness and productivity, in order to cope with the upcoming ICH on specifications on oriental herbal drugs. Also, major purposes of this study are to motivate R&D and to pioneer foreign markets for domestic herbal drug companies. First, after examining concepts of traditional Korean medicines and comparing the numbers and differentiation of herbal drugs registered on Pharmacopeia among Korea, China, and Japan, the current new drug development requirements for traditional Korean medicines were reviewed in detail, followed by comparison of foreign regulation systems including USA, EU, China, and Japan. Second, empirical cases on failure of development for new traditional Korean medicines under the current regulation system in the domestic companies including Dong-A, Kwangdong, and Samchondang, were collected and analyzed. As a result, hanbangsaengyak, the new category for traditional Korean medicines was newly developed on the basis of scientification of data between saengyak and hanyak, from the perspectives of harmonization between oriental medicine and western medicine and of balance between food and drug, in terms of industrialization, publicity, modernization, and effectiveness of administration. In addition, the new regulation requirements for the new hanbangsaengyak preparations were discussed by establishing principles of reinforcing preclinical test and of simplifying clinical trials in Korea. Finally, the further researches to articulate the complete specifications for pre-clinical and clinical requirements for traditional Korean medicines were strongly suggested.

In this paper, we analyze the feasibility of the IP spoofing attack exploiting null security algorithms in 5G networks based on 3GPP standard specifications. According to 3GPP standard specifications, the initial Registration Request message is not protected by encryption and integrity. The IP spoofing attack exploits the vulnerability that allows a malicious gNB (next generation Node B) to modify the contents of the initial Registration Request message of a victim UE (User Equipment) before forwarding it to AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function). If the attack succeeds, the victim UE is disconnected from the 5G network and a malicious UE gets Internet services, while the 5G operator will charge the victim UE. In this paper, we analyze the feasibility of the IP spoofing attack by analyzing whether each signaling message composing the attack conforms to the 3GPP Rel-17 standard specifications. As a result of the analysis, it is determined that the IP spoofing attack is not feasible in the 5G system implemented according to the 3GPP Rel-17 standard specifications.

A vacuum system with ejector has been widely used because of its simple construction and easy maintenance. Ejectors are the main part of the vacuum system, of which designs determine the efficiency of vacuum system. The ejector with the capacity of 1.5 ton/hr steam consumption was designed and tested. The results showed that the tested values are satisfied with the designed specifications. Comparing with other ejectors designed by overseas specialist makers, it seems to have a good performance.

The projection-type integral imaging system using mirror array is studied at the viewpoint of the aperture ratio of system. The aperture ratio which is determined by the relation of the specifications of the projection lens and the elemental mirrors affects the viewing quality of integral imaging system. This factors play an important role in the system design.

To decrease of deviations from target specifications and excessive variability around targe, we exclusively designed statistical process control system involving general manager and expert tool for cigarette manufacturing process. This system is a unique programming environment for the development of total process control software including various control charts according to data type and process capability analysis. Also this system includes the statistical analysis module to analyze defective causes immediately when inferior products are made and the module to offer regular reports. This system is customized considering the manufacture environment based on the opinions of workers.

The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the effective production. For this purpose, 180 Korean mothers who bring up from newborns to four-year-old babies were sampled to survey the problems on size occurred by wearing and purchasing the Infants'Wear and positively identify the factors affecting the fitness. Data is processed by a computer(SAS) and analyzed by using frequency, perentage, mean, χ²-test, Duncan-test. The main results of this study are as follows ; 1. Consumers'awareness of sizing system of Infant's wear tent to present relatively high and tend to purchase their infants'wear larger than actual sizes or that consumers'preferences depend little on size adaptation. 2. As a result of analyzing the part not fit, neck circumference, waist circumference, total length, neck back-waist length is short, sleeve length, pants length, shoulder length is big. In all, it has been found through this study that fitness and awareness of sizing system of Infant's Wear in purchasing infants'wear was influenced by many external factors. Therefore, in order to maximize the size adaptability for infants, Infants'Wear must be present the reasonable sizes and specifications for infants'wear in consideration of domestic and foreign specifications and infants'health condition.

Comparison of prices and specifications is a very important informations for the decision of buying selected goods. It is hard to get informations of comparison of prices and specifications at the spot on off-line shopping. In this paper, we propose a system that provides optimized information of goods by PDA mobile phones and other mobile devices. The proposed system consists of a server that include a search robot and clients that can read barcode. When a client send the barcode information scanned by a camera attached his/her mobile device, the server sends the information of the goods to the client.

A railway control system is one of the typical safety-critical systems. It is required to use formal methods for the requirements specification and verification in order to develop the global-standard railway control systems based on the computer systems. In this paper, we develop a guideline for requirements specification using formal methods, and present a case study of the development of a computer-based railway control system through the application of the proposed guideline. We use the Statechart and the Z method for the formal requirements specifications and verify the consistency and completeness of the formal specifications of the requirements.
