For the application of factory automation, a 3-axis numerical control system with personal computer and KM3701 function generator LSI chip, which has liner, circular, parabolic, logarithmic, and exponential interpolations, is developed. The developed system also has 2 control function to stabilize tooling speed and 1/1000mm step sizes.

CMOS Image Sensor(CIS) 소자에서 광감도의 향상과 천연색 형성을 위하여 적용하고 있는 Color-Filter 공정에서 국부적으로 발생하는 strip성 불량과 막질손상을 제거하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 우선 지역적 경향성을 보이는 불량에 대해서는 PR strip process type을 액조 진행방식에서 회전식으로 변경했을 때 제거됨을 확인하였고, 막질손상을 최소화하기 위해서는 새로운 유기용매의 적용이 필요하였다. 실험 결과, 케톤기를 가지는 화합물과 Polar Apotic 용매의 혼합화합물을 적용하였을 때 각 막질에 attack을 최소화하면서 원하는 PR만 선택적으로 제거 되며 미세잔류성분에 대한 제거력도 향상됨을 확인하였다.

추천자 시스템은 전자상거래 사이트에서 고객의 상품 구매 정보를 수집하여 고객에 대한 예상 구매 상품을 추천하는 목적으로 개발되었다. 본 연구는 대형 전자상거래 사이트에서 고객의 상품 구매 이력이 활용 가능한 경우에 전통적인 통계기법인 군집분석 및 고객 간의 상품 구매 상관성을 이용하는 기존 추천자 시스템(협력적 필터링 기법)과 문서 검색에서 사용되는 LSI분석에 기반한 협업 필터링 기법을 상품 추천에 적용하여 각 기법의 상품 추천 효율성을 비교 분석하였다. 문서-용어 행렬과 유사한 구조를 가지는 고객-상품 구매 행렬에 문서 검색에 사용되는 LSI 분석법은 고객의 상품구매 경향을 원 상품 수보다 축소된 차원의 변환 상품을 통하여 파악함으로써 목표고객에 대한 인접고객군의 생성 노력을 현저히 감소시킬 수 있어 결과적으로 실시간으로 적용되는 추천자 알고리즘의 효율성을 개선할 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다. 가상적인 고객-상품 구매 리스트를 대상으로 실행한 시뮬레이션 실험 결과에서도 알고리즘의 효율성 평가측도인 recall과 정확도 및 F1에서 LSI 기반 협력적 필터링 기법이 기존의 방법보다 우수한 결과를 나타내었다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 인접고객 군의 크기가 일정한 수준에 이르면 그 크기를 증가시키더라도 알고리즘의 효율성은 별로 개선되지 않으며 또한 추천 상품 수가 일정 수준에 도달하면 추천 정확도가 낮아지는 정도에 비해 recall의 개선도는 별 변화가 없는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 추천자 시스템을 구현하는 용도에 따라 이러한 정보는 유용하게 사용될 수 있다고 판단된다.

In this paper, we designed simultaneous 2-axis control system using commercialized custom ICs for positioning and interpolation that is very compact and high reliable. This system is primarily designed for NC system, we verified it is more complete than the other hardware & software based system in its function, control accuracy and cost. Also, this system can be expanded for multi-axis control, it can be applied to the control of more complicated mechanism such as articulated robot.

Presented in the paper is a reservation based dispatching rule to achieve the on-time delivery in system LSI (large scale integrated circuit) semiconductor fabrication (FAB) with urgent orders. Using the proposed reservation based dispatching rule, urgent lots can be processed without waiting in a queue. It is possible to achieve the on-time delivery of urgent orders by reserving a proper tool for the next step in advance while urgent lots are being processed at the previous step. It can cause, however, tardiness of normal lots, because the proposed rule assign urgent lots first. To solve this problem, the proposed rule tries to find the best tool for the reservation in the tool group, which can minimize idle time, and the reservation rule is applied at all tools except for photolithography tools (bottleneck). $MOZART^{(R)}$ which is developed by VMS solutions are used for simulation experiments. The experimentation results show that the reservation based dispatching rule can achieve the on-time delivery of normal lots as well as urgent lots.

현재 대부분의 도서관 정보검색 시스템들은 키워드 정합매칭(exacting matching) 방법으로 검색 서비스를 제공하고 있으므로, 검색 결과의 양이 방대하고 비적합한 결과가 많이 포함되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 키워드기반 검색 엔진의 단점을 보완하고 현재 도서관 검색 환경을 고려하여 보다 적합한 결과를 사용자에게 신속하게 제공하기 위하여 전공분류표와 사용자 프로파일을 이용한 검색 모델 SULRM(Retrieval Model using Subject Classification Table, User Profile & LSI)을 제안한다. SULRM은 키워드 검색 결과로 얻은 자료들을 분류된 자료의 경우와 미분류된 자료의 경우로 나누어, 분류된 자료의 경우에는 전공분류표를 생성하여 자료 필터링을 수행하고, 미분류된 자료의 경우에는 사용자 프로파일과 LSI(Latent Semantic Indexing)을 이용하여 자료의 순위를 결정해서 사용자에게 제시한다. 실험평가는 우리 대학의 디지털 도서관을 실험환경으로 하여 필터링 방법, 사용자 프로파일 갱신 방법, 그리고 문서순위결정 방법의 성능을 측정한다.

The corrosion problems in water distribution system are reduced by decreasing the agressivity of drinking water which is evaluated by marble test and saturation indices(LSI or CCPP etc.). Marble test is a reliable method to determine the actual saturation condition of treated water. This study was done to determined the aggressivity of tap water and the effectiveness of $Ca(OH)_2$ and NaOH dosage for corrosion control. The drinking water in Seoul were evaluated by marble test and Langelier Index(LSI) and Calcium Carbonate Precipitation Potential(CCPP). The results indicated that the drinking water in Seoul were undersaturated as Calcium Carbonate($CaCO_3$). The LSI and CCPP of the water treated with $Ca(OH)_2$ were higher than that of water treated with NaOH. Therefore, to increase the Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness for corrosion control in water distribution system, $Ca(OH)_2$ is more effective than NaOH.

In the design of digital system, designers use multi-layer LSI to connect all signal sets between circuit modules. This paper suggests how to minimize upper street congestions and lower congestions in the single-row routing, a routing method of multi-layer LSI. This paper suggests the heuristic algorithm which minimize upper street congestions and lower street congestions by suggesting interval graph and relational operator and finding out of the order of signal sets The algorithm was implemented on a VAX-11/780 computer and illustrated by means of examples.

정보검색시스템에서 가장 중요한 것은 사용자의 요구에 부합하는 결과를 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 사용자의 질의와 연관된 모든 문서들을 추출하게 되는데, 이 많은 결과 문서들 중에서 사용자가 원하는 문서는 소수이고, 원하는 문서를 찾는 것도 쉽지 않다. 따라서 적절한 결과 문서를 도출하기 위하여 연관된 문서들끼리 그룹화 시키는 클러스터링 방법이 많이 이용된다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 문서내의 색인어 보다는 그 의미에 기반하여 클러스터링 하였다. 이를 위하여 LSI 모델을 적용하였고, 문서 클러스터링 방법으로 많이 사용하고 있는 K-Means 알고리즘을 이용한 클러스터링과의 차이점을 비교, 분석하였다.

본 논문은 LSI의 물리적 레이아웃 설계시 다량의 패턴 데이타를 고속으로 처리할 수 있는 새로운 2차원 병렬처리 방법을 제안한고 메모리와 프로세서간에 데이타를 양방향으로 고속 전송 하는 스위칭 네트워크를 설계하였다.이스위칭 네트워크를 VHDL 설계 시스템을 이용하여 시뮬레이션하여 그 동작을 확인하였다.
