The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the hairdo involvement and hairdo attitude influenced by clothing involvement. In addition, actual conditions of hairdo were investigated. The questionnaires were given to female residents in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province during September to October 2006. Four hundred and six questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software with various techniques such as factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, ANOVA test, Duncan test, frequency analysis and $X^2-test$. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The factors for clothing involvement were found to be interests and pleasure in clothes, coordination of clothes, symbolic representation, fashionableness, and risk awareness. The hairdo involvement factors were found to be interests and pleasure in hairdo, fashionableness, symbolic representation, risk awareness, and coordination of hairdo. The factors for attitude toward hairdo were found to be orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality, constancy, and consciousness of others. 2. According to the level of clothing involvement, three types of group were defined. When difference in the hairdo involvement was analyzed, all factors showed significant differences. When difference in the hairdo attitude was analyzed, significant differences were found in orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality and consciousness of others. 3. Reason for choosing hair style is 'it's because they wanted the hair style', 'it's easy to groom', 'it's what they usually choose'. Average hair grooming time is less than 5 minute had higher rate, and then less than 10 minute came second. The money spend on buying consumption goods for hair treatment per month had the highest rate on spending 10,000 to 20,000won and the source of information on hairdo had the highest rate on hairdresser. The reason for choosing hair saloon had the highest rate on hairdressing skill, which shows that people choose hair saloons which they can trust on hair saloon's hairdressing skill.

Vesely explains, the main source of our confusion and nihilism comes most probably from the ambiguous relationship between modem architecture, technology and aesthetics. Also, to overcome such crucial problems, many theorists recently emphasize to take part in cultural civilization and to preserve creative genes of great culture that is based on our interpretation of 'ethical and mythical nucleus of mankind,' rather than in technical modernization that constitutes a sort of subtle destruction of mytho-ethical nucleus of a society. They for architecture also strongly stress on a mythopoetic imagination and an ontological construction of building, which could make a form symbolic and mythical rather than mathematical and aesthetic representation. On this point, 'myth' becomes a vital idea for constructing and construing architectural form and space. And it is also one of the essential concepts to understand both the motive power of cultural continuation of place and the meaning of architecture. Nevertheless, its meaning and the citation of word in architectural essay are still obscure. It might be because the original concept of myth not only has been lain in the matter of philosophical contemplation. Thus, the intention of the research is focused on lightening the meaning of myth in architectural term. Especially, it is, first, concentrated on interpreting philosopher Ernst Cassirer's reflections which were written in order to emphasize the importance of 'mythical consciousness' for the world's cultural civilization. And, the second, it will continue to interpret the myth as a sign within the semiotic concept of Charles Sanders Peirce, and further to emphasis the significance of mythic signs for the continuance of artistic and cultural idea including architecture. The contents of the paper is not that of architectural planning and design methodology, rather architectural philosophy and epistemology. Nevertheless, in regard to architecture, the research will, against today's un-discriminated use of symbolic motifs and instrumental representation of form, suggest a concrete architectural and aesthetic theory of myth and sign, especially of the relationship between the idea of semiology and the function of cultural continuity.

This study aimed to propose a fashion design development method using the external and internal characteristics of the flower and bird paintings in traditional Korean folk paintings. As a research method, external and internal characteristics of folk paintings were examined through previous studies and literature research, and folk painting patterns were developed into digital textile designs. Five 3D digital fashion designs were proposed using the CLO 3D program. The external characteristics of folk paintings were as follows: simplification and planarization of object representation, diversification of viewpoints, ignorance of perspective and symmetrical enumeration, strong colors and contrast effects, and the simultaneous representation of time. The internal characteristics of folk paintings were as follows: symbolic meaning, the beauty of free humor, modest aesthetics, complexity of reality and fantasy, and desire of shamanism. The results are as follows. Firstly, the flower and bird painting was a decorative painting style that emphasized decorative beauty and was suitable for developing fashion designs with Korean originality because of the symbolic and internal meanings. Simple layouts and bold free-spirited representations were effective ways to fill the screen with objects and gave the pattern a decorative effect. Secondly, developing a virtual clothing prototype based on digital design method using the external and internal characteristics of folk paintings and producing realistic fashion designs suggest the integrated use of science and technology, embodying modern fashion through the combination of digital fashion content and traditional cultural content. Thirdly, as a result of the development of 3D digital fashion designs, an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion design methods with virtual clothing can suggest a design development method that saves time and cost in the fashion design process while considering the environment.

학생들의 오류에 대한 교사의 정확한 해석과 설명은 이후 교수학적 처치의 방향을 결정한다. 학생들의 개념적 학습의 어려움을 진단하고 해석하는 과정에서 가장 중요하게 작용하는 교사지식은 전문내용지식(SCK)이다. 이에 본 연구는 무리수 개념과 표현에 관한 학생들의 반응에 대한 교사들의 해석과 설명을 분석하여 무리수 개념에 관한 학생의 오류와 어려움 해석에 필요한 교사들의 SCK의 특징을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 무리수의 개념과 표현에 대한 학생들의 오류가 반영된 교사용 질문지를 개발하여 세 명의 현직교사에게 적용하는 사례연구를 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들이 제시한 무리수 표현의 집중과 간과 현상을 해석하는 과정에서 발현된 SCK는 근호라는 기호 표현에 고착된 특징이 있다는 것과 유 무리수 판단 기준에 대해서 교사들도 학생들과 마찬가지로 '분수 표현'과 '소수 표현'이 동시에 제시된 상황에서 소수 표현에 더 집중하는 현상을 확인하였다. 또한 오류를 해석하는 교사들의 수학적 판단이 학생들의 반응에 영향을 받고 있다는 것과 무리수의 수직선 표현으로의 번역에 대한 해석에는 무리수의 개념-과정 관점과 실무한의 관점에 대한 내용지식이 가장 중요한 내용지식임을 확인하였다.

국제 행사에서 개최지역 문화와 국제사회의 흐름에 부합하는 상징적 개념을 제시하면 세계인의 호응을 얻어 개최지역의 이미지도 올릴 수 있다. 국제 행사 마스코트는 개최지역의 고유한 문화를 상징적으로 나타내며, 구성원의 소속감과 자긍심을 높이고 개최지역의 이미지를 대외적으로 친근하게 나타낼 수 있는 좋은 수단이다. 본 연구는 국제축구연맹(FIFA)의 축구월드컵 행사 마스코트에 반영된 지역 특성과 상징 표현 요소에 대하여 고찰하였다. 1966년부터 2018년까지 개최된 축구월드컵 행사 마스코트는 총 14개로 이들의 소재는 동물, 식물, 사람, 창작 등으로 나누어볼 수 있다. 마스코트에는 지역의 특산물, 개최 지역의 국기, 상징적인 복장, 개최지역 언어, 사회적 논점 등의 지역 특성이 적용되었으며, 마스코트의 복장, 자세, 소품과 행사 관련 문자가 상징 표현 요소로 사용되었다. 연구를 통해 도출된 시사점은 첫째, 마스코트는 지역 특성보다는 행사 주제인 '축구'상징 요소를 더 강하게 표현하고 있었다. 둘째, 지역 특성 표현 요소 중에는 '국기'를 활용한 사례가 돋보였다. 셋째, 마스코트 소재는 '동물'이 선호되었다. 넷째, 마스코트가 '문화향품'과 접목하게 되고, 사회적 경각심을 불러일으키는 등의 확장된 역할을 하게 되었다. 이 연구에서 제기한 특성 및 상징 표현 요소 분류에서 도출된 시사점은 국제 행사 마스코트 기획의 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

This paper presents an algorithm for effective retrieval of score information to an input score image. The originality of the proposed algorithm is that it is designed to be robust to recognition errors by an OMR (Optical Music Recognition), while existing methods such as pitch histogram requires error induced OMR result be corrected before retrieval process. This approach helps people to retrieve score without training on music score for error correction. OMR takes a score image as input, recognizes musical symbols, and produces structural symbolic notation of the score as output, for example, in MusicXML format. Among the musical symbols on a score, it is observed that filled noteheads are rarely detected with errors with its simple black filled round shape for OMR processing. Barlines that separate measures also strong to OMR errors with its long uniform length vertical line characteristic. The proposed algorithm consists of a descriptor for a score and a similarity measure between a query score and a reference score. The descriptor is based on note-count, the number of filled noteheads in a measure. Each part of a score is represented by a sequence of note-count numbers. The descriptor is an n-gram sequence of the note-count sequence. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm works successfully to a certain degree in score image-based retrieval for an erroneous OMR output.

2007개정 과학과 교육과정에 따른 중학교 1학년 과학 교과서 11종을 대상으로, '물질 영역'에 속하는 '물질의 세 가지 상태', '분자의 운동', '상태변화와 에너지'라는 세 단원에 제시된 모형의 유형 및 특성을 조사하고 과학적 모형 분석틀을 개발하였다. 연구를 통해 개발되어진 과학적 모형 분석틀은 표상 양식과 표상의 속성으로 나누어져있으며, 표상 양식은 활동 모형, 비유적 모형, 상징적 모형, 이론적 모형으로 분류하고, 표상의 속성은 정적 모형과 동적모형으로 분류하였다. 개발되어진 과학적 모형 분석틀을 가지고 교과서에서 사용되고 있는 모형의 유형과 빈도수를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 표상 양식에서는 활동 모형과 비유적 모형이 가장 많이 사용되었고, 표상의 속성에서는 동적 모형이 많이 사용되고 있었다. 물질 영역에서는 입자 개념을 다루며 학생들이 일상생활에서 접하는 거시적인 현상들을 분자의 배열이나 운동과 같은 미시적 관점으로 이해하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 현 교과서들에 나타난 과학적 모형 사용의 제한점과 바람직한 방향을 모색하게 할 뿐 아니라, 앞으로 집필되어질 교과서와 수업을 구성하는데 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 것이다.

본 연구는 장소 마케팅 전략인 지역 특성화를 위해서 적절한 지역 상징적 테마의 발굴과 이의 효과적 이미지 표현이라는 두 가지 관점에서 접근되어야 한다는 전제하에 최근 20년간 일본 지역 테마전시관에 나타난 지역 상징적 테마와 이의 표현 기법을 조사 분석하는 실증적 연구로 진행되었으며 이는 향후 국내의 지역 상징적 테마 특성과 표현 방법과의 비교연구를 위한 기초 자료로서의 목적을 가진다. 사례 조사 분석의 결과, 자연지형과 생태, 인공시설, 유적과 유물 등 물리적 유형과 지역산업, 지역문화, 지역인물, 역사사건 등의 사회 문화적 유형으로 분류되었다. 또한 전시관에 부여된 지역 상징적 테마를 적절히 표현하는 방법으로 재현, 은유, 환유, 상징 등의 표현기법 사례들이 나타났다. 특히 90년대 후반부로 올수록 다양한 지역을 상징하는 테마적용이 증가하고 더욱 강한 이미지로 표현되고 있었다.

한국은 오래전부터 '고양이 앙화'에 대한 선입견으로 고양이를 많이 꺼리는 문화였지만 근래 들어 반려동물로 고양이가 증가하고 고양이 소재로 그림책과 에세이, 웹툰 등이 국내 독자에게 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 사노 요코 그림책을 살펴보았을 때 국내 출판된 그림책의 약 50%가 고양이를 소재로 한 그림책이며 이중 '100만 번 산 고양이'는 전 세계적으로 밀리언셀러이다. 연구방법은 사노 요코 그림책에 표현된 고양이 캐릭터가 그림책 스토리 주인공 외에 다른 상징적 의미가 있는가? 를 중심으로 국내 번역 출판된 작가의 고양이 캐릭터 그림책 5권을 사례로 분석하였으며 결과로 도출된 그림책의 고양이 캐릭터 성격 및 상징적 의미와 표현기법을 이미지와 함께 제시하였다. 연구 결과로 사노는 고양이를 통해서 고양이가 고양이듯 우리 자신의 '자유의지'를 존중하며 사랑할 것을 그림책에 담고 있다. 결론으로 그림책에서 고양이 캐릭터의 상징적 의미는 대부분 작가자신이고 때로는 아들과 엄마로 상징됨을 알 수 있었다. 공통으로 사용된 캐릭터 색과 유사한 짙은 윤곽선은 온유한 캐릭터와 때로는 독선적인 강한 성격 그리고 정적이거나 동적인 움직임을 극화시키고 있다.

This study examines the space composition and character of Elizabethan Theater base on the theory of drama and Shakespeares play in the english traditional theater. Contemporary multi purpose theater and public space is considered as a symbolic representation of the Elizabethan theaters organization and renaissance culture. In the historical theory, the Shakespeares theater was a common tool and best systeme in reflecting peoples lives. This role of theater as mass culture and new style of theater permanent design has get its value with the population increase and the urban centralization of the city and urban common sense. This study attempts to reevaluate the need of public space in modern society through a critical review of theater and its use as a open space design. Content analysis was used to discuss the topics of this study including the historical background of the theater, the relationship between Greek culture and modern design, and the role of scenery, auditorium and its impact on urban environment. The scope of the study is limited to the comparison of Elizabethan theater and space use program from the space critic and sociologist. Today the concept of theatrical space is altered with the advent of non-objects and multi media space. This study provides insights for the future implications of theatrical space in developing public space for its a new definition as cultural representation.
