TARTAN과 스코틀랜드 복식에 관한연구 (A Study on the Tartan and Scotland Costume)

  • Tatan is a symbol of kinship and belonging in Scotland and a badge of identity recognized all over the world. Alongside the powerful historical and national resonance to Tartan for Scots it has been borrowed repeatedly by fashion. The pattern compositionof Tartan check is formed as a typical cross stripes that vertical line and hrizontal line meets rectangulary. And its color is much various and rich than other check pattern. So its magnificient spec-tacle that various all kinds of colors is dyed in cloth is second to name. Today we are as likely to meet tartan in a couturier dress as in a kilt or plaid. Tartan is distinctive in colour style and de-sign. It conveys personality ceremony and drama. All these aspects of its character have contributed to tartan being one of the best-known and best-loved fabrics in the world. In other parts of Europe traditional checked patterns declined and disappeared but in Scotland tartan survived strongly jist as the bagpipes also European flourished Due to geographical and cultural circumstances Scots were able to develop and enhance tartan and its remarkable individuality ensured its sur-vival in spite of adverse political and economic pressures. Tartan has been adopted as the national dress of all Scots. Lowland and High-land providing a powerful form of national cultural and personal identity.   • 현대는 점점 더 기호의 복잡성으로 다양한 의미를 생산해내는 문화가 지배적으로 되어가고 있다. 정보의 매개체로서 중요한 캐릭터란 시각을 통해서 경험하는 대상물의 본질적인 특성이다. 캐릭터는 형태에 의해서 상징적인 의미를 가지며 기호화된다. 애니메이션에 있어 캐릭터는 단순히 이미지의 표현이 아닌, 하나의 기호에 또 다른 기호를 중첩시켜 의미 작용을 확장시켜 가는 시각커뮤니케이션이다. 이러한 시각커뮤니케이션 수단으로서의 캐릭터에 표출된 시각적, 문화적 요소의 분석은 애니메이션에 나타난 캐릭터가 단순히 미학적 매커니즘이 아닌 새로운 스타일을 이끌어가는 문화코드로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있다는 가능성을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 퍼스의 기호 유형 범주인 도상, 지표, 상징이라는 개념을 들어 영화 ‘슈렉’에 나타난 캐릭터의 외모와 성격적 특성에 대해 체계적인 분석을 시도하면서 애니메이션이 나타내고 있는 기호현상들을 연구하였다.

고려 아미타불 및 관세음보살도에 나타난 문양을 응용한 아동 생활한복 디자인 (Children's daily Hanbok design using the patterns in the Armita Buddhist paintings and Avalokitesvara of the Goryeo period of Korea)

  • In this study, the pattern of texture was developed by applying the pattern shown in the Amita Yeoraebul and the Avalokitesvara with symbolism suitable for children's clothing. In addition, the design and the manufacturing of a children's wearable Hanbok were attempted, and the results are as follows: Amitha Yeoraebul is a Buddha who oversees paradise in Buddhism, and Avalokitesvara controls both paradise and the real world and provides mercy. Applying the various patterns in the Buddhist paintings, four daily hanboks for children were produced using patterns featuring symbolic the meanings of large round original patterns chrysanthemums, turtles, and lotus patterns. The lotus symbol represents love, nobility, and wealth, while the turtle symbol represents longevity, the chrysanthemum pattern symbolizes auspiciousness, and the large round original pattern means a constant continuation. To maintain the traditional hanbok form but allow convenient wear it in daily life, it is made in the jeogori + shorts, vest + long pants, and one-piece + jacket style. Currently, the daily dress of Hanbok and the modernization of traditional Korean clothes are being promoted. At this point, the study developed Hanbok fashion products that contain symbolic stories suitable for children are trying to maintain the image of traditional culture as much as possible.

  • 본 논문에서는, 상호작용 이동통신 사용자의 비직교 다중접속에서 강채널 사용자의 저하된 BER 성능을 향상하기 위해 음수의 상관관계 계수 B2S 사상을 제안한다. 먼저, 음수의 상관관계 계수 B2S 사상 수신기의 BER의 폐쇄형 표현식을 유도하고, 이상적인 완벽한 SIC 수신기와 양수의 상관관계 계수 수신기의 BER과 비교하여, B2S 수신기의 BER이 향상되었음을 보여준다. 또한, 이론적인 분석에 기초하여 SNR 이득을 구하여 음수의 상관관계 계수 B2S 사상 수신기의 성능 우수성을 입증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 STO(Symbol Timing Offset)를 갖는 cooperative SFBC-OFDM 시스템에 적합한 파일럿 톤 기반의 채널 추정 기법을 제안한다. Cooperative SFBC-OFDM 시스템에서는 MS(Mobile Station)의 위치에 따라 RS(Relay Station)와 MS간 STO가 다르게 발생하며 이 STO가 위상 회전 형태로 왜곡을 발생시키기 때문에 orthogonal 파일럿 사용시 위상과 크기에 대하여 선형 보간을 취하여 채널을 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 orthogonal code를 사용하는 파일럿 구조에서는 비선형 방정식의 해를 구함으로써 채널 추정을 수행하는 방법을 제안한다. STO를 갖는 cooperative SFBC-OFDM 시스템에서 제안된 기법을 적용할 경우에 채널 추정 성능이 크게 개선될 수 있음을 모의실험을 통하여 확인한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Alamouti, Tarokh, Su와 Xia 등에 의해 도입된 직교 시공간 부호를 포함한 임의의 선형 직교 시공간 블록 부호에 대해, 준정지 레일리 페이딩 채널에서의 정확한 비트 오율 성능을 분석한다. 먼저 1차원 심볼 오류 함순(one-dimensional symbol error function, ODSEF)를 정의한다. 이것은 직교 시공간 블록 부호의 정확한 쌍 오류 확률(pairwise error probability)에 의하여 얻어진다. ODSEF와 Cho 와 Yoon의 QAM에 대한 비트 오율 표현을 이용하여, 직교 시공간 블록 부호에 대한 일반적인 표현을 구하고, 이를 이용하여, 선형 직교 시공간 블록 부호의 정확한 폐형의 비트 오율을 구한다.

Effect of Bi-/Unilateral Masticatory Training on Memory and Concentration - Assessor-blind, Cross-over, Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial

  • Objectives: This study aimed to explore the short-term effects of bilateral masticatory training using an intraoral device on memory and concentration, which is an advanced form of Gochi, compared to the unilateral form with gum. Methods: Thirty young healthy participants (age, 16-30 years) were screened and randomly assigned to one of two sequences in a crossover design. The participants assigned to sequence A (n=15) performed bilateral mastication using an intraoral device with a total of 300 taps, followed by unilateral mastication using gum with the same number of repetitions and frequency, separated by a 7-day washout period. A reverse order was used for sequence B. The primary and secondary outcomes were the digit span test result and the symbol digit modality test and the word list recall results, respectively, which were conducted before and after each intervention. Results: Symbol digit modality test scores increased by 12.03±8.33 with bilateral mastication, which was significantly higher than that obtained with chewing gum (5.17 points;95% confidence interval: 0.99, 9.34; p<0.05). Changes in the digit span test and word list recall scores were not significantly different between the two groups. In the digit span test forward, symbol digit modality test, and word list recall test, bilateral mastication was not inferior to unilateral mastication in improving memory and concentration. Conclusions: Bilateral masticatory exercises using an intraoral device are not inferior to unilateral mastication with gum for improving memory in healthy young individuals. Further research is needed to determine the efficacy of bilateral masticatory training on cognitive function.

쉐다곤 불탑의 상징적 의미와 구성 형식에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Form and Symbolic Meaning of Shwedagon Pagoda)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the aspect of expression about the form of Shwedagon Pagoda as well as to find out its meanings. The aesthetic value of Shwedagon Pagoda appears as the worship and infinite respect to Buddha realizing its beautiful sacred symbol. The meaning of Shwedagon Pagoda is to progress in keeping pace with the specific flexibility of Buddhism in Myanmar developing Buddhistic diversity and accepting its active changes. As time passes, Shwedagon Pagoda has been transformed. It is because that Myanmar's architecture was developed independently being affected by India with the introduction of Buddhism, and accepted it through autonomous reinterpretation. Then, the function of the worship space surrounding Shwedagon was extended and its annexes and statues of the Buddha were built; its scale became larger. This study shows the comparison between Shwezigon Pagoda and Shwedagon Pagoda. This method of investigation reveals that the formal changes of Shwedagon makes it transform to concise composition and develop aesthetical component giving the sense of vertical rise.

  • 최근에, 디지탈 데이터 전송을 위한 수신기 타이밍 검출 회로의 디지탈화에 관한 관심이 점점 증가하고 있다. 타이밍 검출 회로의 디지탈화의 결과로 인하여, 타이밍 에러 검출을 위한 새로운 디지탈 알고리즘이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는, 직접 QPSK변조 기법에 적용할 수 있는 Angular Form(AF) Algorithm을 제시하였다. AF Algorithm은 기본적으로 복조된 각 (Detected Angle)과 천이논리표 (Transition Logic Table)등의 개념을 근거로 하여 개발되었다. Gaussian과 Impulsive 잡음을 모델링하여, 이들 두 잡음환경하에서 Monte-Carlo 시뮬레이션을 통하여 알고리즘 성능평가를 하였다. 성능평가 결과, AF Algorithm이 Gardner Algorithm보다 BER, RMS Jitter, S-curve등에서 성능이 개선됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • The nature of animation is to create a moving image. Also, it creates a narrative space and visual image which is different form a reality. Therefore, image expression is very important in the animation. Although the domestic animation has a movement, it has not an image which has meaning. For instance, Korean fiction animation ${\ulcorner}$My beautiful girl, Mary${\lrcorner}$ has grand prize in Anncy International Animated Film Festival, 2002. Such achievement give new vision and present a clue of development to our national animation. However, not many people went to the cinema to watch it. The reason is that although 'Mary' has the Fantastic image, she doesn't show a true life image. The film is revival of reality through the image. However, animation is revival of reality through the 'transformation' of the existing image. Therefore, reviving exactly the same as a reality is not the most important fact in the animation image. Preferably, the most important fact in the animation image is that reviving reality into highly wrought image. This paper will study an expression form of animation trough the image. For this, It will associate 'poetic' in literature with 'poetic image' in animation. For this, It will associate 'poetic' in literature with 'poetic image' in animation.
