국내 제조기업의 JIT구매방식의 도입과 구매성과에 관한 연구 (JIT Purchasing of Korean Manufacturers and It's Impact on Purchasing Performances)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose guidelines for Introducing the JIT(Just-In-Time) purchasing to enhance the competitiveness of Korean manufacturing companies. This study employed an extensive survey on the use of the JIT purchasing systems among different Korean manufacturing companies to understand the current status of the JIT purchasing in use and to identify the benefits from implementing JIT purchasing. The survey has covered 163 manufacturing companies of different sizes from various sectors of Korean industries including electronics, automobiles, machineries, and textiles. The research results support that the JIT purchasing would contribute to increase the purchasing performances of Korean manufacturing companies.

효과적인 수업 운영을 위한 디지털 학습 도구 적용 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Use of Digital Learning Tools for Effective Class Operation)

  • Digital transformation is accelerating in all industries due to COVID-19 and rapidly developing ICT technology. In the field of education, teaching methods that combine various IT devices and software technologies are being applied. The education requires a future learning environment using EduTech such as digital learning tools. We perform a case study on the use of digital learning tools for effective class. In this study, digital learning tools were applied to an university class. The class was held in the second semester of 2022 at A university, with 67 students participating. In our case, QuizN, Mentimeter, and Google Forms were applied as digital learning tools. In order to evaluate our case, a survey was conducted using the Google Questionnaire. From the results of the survey evaluation, more than 85% of all survey questions answered that they were satisfied. From it, digital learning tools were shown to be effective in class operation.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine residents' perception and needs for storage according to the family life cycle. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey is used. We sample the questionnaire surveys of 250 apartment households in Seoul. The data collect by the questionnaire survey was analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the study are obtained as follows: 1) In research on the actual storage condition, residents tend to feel constraint on storage of the season goods and the storage satisfaction on the service area is founded lowest. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space plan on the balcony storage and the interior storage for the season goods. 2) In research on the storage consciousness and attitude, residents tend to keep the goods of no use and prefer to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space in the balcony for the storage of the goods of no use and the colsed furniture rather than the open furniture is suited for arrangement. 3) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all family life cycle show highly and residents want to a space for the exclusive use of the storage. Access to Anti-smoking Information among School Children and its Potential Impact on Preventing Smoking Initiation: Results from the Global Youth Tobacco Use Survey (GYTS) 2014 in Viet Nam

  • Scientific evidence on all aspects of smoking amongst youth is very important for designing appropriate interventions to reduce smoking among this vulnerable population. This paper describes current access to anti-smoking information among school children aged 13 to 15 years in Vietnam in 2014 and examines its potential impact on preventing smoking initiation. The data used in this paper were obtained from the 2014 Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) in Vietnam. Students were asked questions about their level of awareness of anti-smoking information from various sources in the past 30 days and about lessons in school regarding the dangers of tobacco use during the last 12 months. Those who have never smoked were asked "whether or not they thought about avoiding cigarettes because of health warnings on cigarette packages" and answers were analyzed in combination with data on access to anti-smoking information from other sources. The prevalence of exposure to antismoking campaigns was high among school children in Viet Nam: 55.3% of current smokers reported thoughts of smoking cessation because of health warnings on cigarette packages; 60.5% of never smokers avoided initiating smoking because of the same health warnings. The potential impact of graphic health warnings to prevent school-aged children from smoking initiation would be stronger if there was concurrent access to anti-smoking programs on the dangers of tobacco use in schools. However, school education for tobacco prevention and control has not been as strong as expected. A more comprehensive school curriculum on tobacco prevention and control is recommended to reinforce antismoking messages among school children.

단체급식에서의 센트럴 키친 제품 이용 실태 조사 (A Survey on the Using Practice of the Central Kitchen Products in the Catering)

  • This study conducted a questionnaire survey of the current use status of central kitchen products on 198 dietitians and cooks working at a catering center of a company affiliated with group S in order to investigate the use state of the central kitchen products in catering. The largest groups of respondents answered that they use the central kitchen products once two to four days. As a reason to use it, the largest group answered that they used it because of the ease of preparation. In addition, the results show that the subjects often use sauce and processed vegetables among the central kitchen products. This study investigated the efficiency of cooking, hygiene and safety management of the central kitchen products. The results show that they have a large effect on shortening the cooking time. The quality control and service efficiency of the central kitchen products showed a positive reaction to the menu diversification and excellent quality but a negative reaction to the nutritious superiority. The operating cost efficiency of the central kitchen products generally showed a negative reaction except for the reducing effect of waste rate. As an improvement of the central kitchen products, the survey shows that the reduction in price and quality progress should be most urgently improved. Based on these results, the introduction of the central kitchen products into to the catering enables to standardize mass production, improve the taste and quality, cook without professional chefs and produce productivity increasing effect in the catering by the time shortening effect.

현장외 시공 공법 채택의 영향 인자 및 활성화 방안 연구 - 영국 건설 시장 사례 연구 - (A study on influencing factors and revitalization of the adoption of off-site construction - Case study on the construction market of the United Kingdom -)

  • Over a few decades, off-site construction (OSC) has been widely used for building and bridge constructions. OSC is a construction method that build structures at a different location than the location of use, and normally it occurs in a manufacturing plant. There are many studies on the perceived benefits of OSC, yet relatively few studies which quantitatively assess the benefits and factors affecting the decision of the use of OSC have been investigated. This study investigates the influencing factors of the use of OSC system and its revitalization solutions in the construction industry. As the research method, interview and questionnaire survey are conducted by visiting industry experts of OSC and sending a questionnaire to the OSC stakeholders including engineers, manufacturers, contractors and clients in the United Kingdom (UK). The construction industry of the UK is targeted for the study since it has a number of commons with the Korean construction industry in terms of the structure of the construction industry and current low take-up of the OSC. The survey provides the results that the reluctance of clients to use OSC is the key factor of the slow use of OSC despite of the perceived benefits of OSC. In addition, in order to revitalize OSC in the construction market, three revival recommendations are suggested based on the survey results.

이러닝 학습자들의 이러닝 이용동기 및 이용의도에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the e-Learning Motives and Intent of e-Learning Learners)

  • 본 연구는 이러닝을 이용한 경험이 없는 대학생들이 이러닝의 특성 요인 중 어떠한 요인으로 인해 이러닝을 이용하려고 하는지 이용의도에 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 경상북도에 소재한 Y대학과 K대학의 대학생을 대상으로 2단계에 걸쳐 연구조사를 실시하였다. 1차 조사를 진행한 후, 조사결과와 전문가 인터뷰를 바탕으로 측정항목을 구성하고 이를 기본이론으로 하여 학습자들의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 2차 조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 첫째 이러닝의 가장 큰 이점인 자율성이 오히려 대학생들의 자기통제력을 낮추어 이러닝 이용 시 결점으로 나타났다. 둘째 대학생들은 학습시간의 편의성, 학습과정의 용이성, 이러닝의 유용성으로 인해 이러닝을 이용하는 것으로 나타났지만, 학습공간의 편의성은 이러닝을 이용하는데 유용은 하지만 실질적인 이러닝을 이용하는 의도에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학 내에서 이러닝을 활성화 시키고 학습자들의 학습효과를 증진하는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • The elementary and middle school curriculum in Korea has been modified periodically to reach today's 7th national curriculum. Although the intent of each new curriculum was to improve education, lack of proper preparation for teachers and students has not made the new curriculums as effective as it could be. Goodlad et al.(1979) suggested that curriculum should encompass all practices including not only knowledge but all the elements of the curriculum and experiences of the student and teachers. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the actual practices of the current curriculum with focus on the use of instructional media in mathematics teaching and learning. A nationwide curriculum survey was carried out with the Goodlad's curriculum inquiry model as the framework. The result shows that elementary and secondary mathematics teachers used textbook manual (for teachers) and practice books most frequently for their class preparation. In addition to these, mathematics teachers also used manipulatives, visual aids, computers, internet, and calculators in a decreasing order. In general, many mathematics teachers did not use much instructional media in their classes and said that there are not enough effective instructional media to use. However, the teachers have positive attitude toward the educational media that they have used. In this study, we analyzed the survey data regarding educational tools, their use and effects to support the development of a new curriculum model in mathematics for a knowledge-based society.

공원잔디공간 이용자의 혼잡도 지각에 관한 연구 -경주 보문관광단 지 잔디공원을 대상으로- (User's Perception of Crowding in Lawn Areas in Park)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the user's perception of crowding in lawn areas in parks. On-site questionnaire survey was executed to study the variables which influence the Perception of Crowding(PC). The survey sites were lawn areas at and in Bo-mun Resort Complex in Kyung-ju. The major results were as follows; 1. Generally, in site's frequency of use, 2-3 times a year ranked as the highest (49%), and in user's residence, Busan and Pohang were highly ranked. As the purpose of visit, two survey sites showed differently. In , family picnic ranked high, but in case of , it had the tendency to the use of adult group and the rally for union. 2. By the results of the analysis of variables related to perceived crowding(PC), perceived density(PD) was the most influensive variables, nuisances by other users(NU) and expected crowding(EC) were another influensive variables. The candidate regression model is, PC=-0.125+0.597(PD)+0.409(NU)+0.307(EC) (R2=0.4592). 3. In variables, related to use density, perceived density(PD) was more influensive and significant variables than actual use density(AD). 4. In planning and design of lawn areas in park, is recommended than . The lawn areas of are more desirable and accommodative than in overuse situation.

Development of Sustainable Accessory Design Using Convertible Techniques

  • This research aimed to analyze the features of convertible accessories, develop sustainable accessory designs using convertible techniques, and evaluate the designs developed through a consumer satisfaction survey and in anticipation of commercialization. Through a review of literature and design cases, convertible accessories were classified; and six convertible accessory designs were developed into practical products. A survey on the convertible designs was conducted to evaluate their aesthetic, functional, and symbolic aspects, ease of use, usefulness, and the intention of consumers to purchase and use the products. In addition, a survey was performed to understand the differences in fashion leadership and eco commitment and behavior. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods, a series of t-test, and ANOVA using the SPSS 25.0 software. There were 335 participants; mostly adult women aged between 20 and 60 years and living in China, one of the world's largest accessory markets. The participants showed high interest to use and purchase the developed designs. There were significant differences in aesthetics, functionality, symbolism, attitude, ease of use, usefulness, usage, and purchase intention for the developed convertible accessories among people with different levels of fashion leadership, environmental commitment, and behavior. The results of this study will help designers develop convertible accessories with a better understanding of consumer perceptions and attitudes towards convertible accessories.
