In the video with a various environment, background modeling is important for extraction and recognition the moving object. For this object recognition, many methods of the background modeling are proposed in a process of preprocess. Among these there is a Kumar method which represents the Queue-based background modeling. Because this has a fixed period of updating examination of the frame, there is a limit for various system. This paper use a background modeling based on the queue. We propose the method that major parameters are decided as adaptive by background model. They are the queue size of the sliding window, the sire of grouping by the brightness of the visual and the period of updating examination of the frame. In order to determine the factors, in every process, RCO (Ratio of Correct Object), REO (Ratio of Error Object) and UR (Update Ratio) are considered to be the standard of evaluation. The proposed method can improve the existing techniques of the background modeling which is unfit for the real-time processing and recognize the object more efficient.
With the increased frequency of crime such as assaults and sexual violence, the reliance on CCTV in arresting criminals has increased as well. However, CCTV, which should be monitored by human labor force at all times, has limits in terms of budget and man-power. Thereby, the interest in intelligent security system is growing nowadays. Expanding the techniques of an objects behavior recognition in previous studies, we propose a system to detect forms of violence between 2~3 objects from images obtained in CCTV. It perceives by detecting the object with the difference operation and the morphology of the background image. The determinant criteria to define violent behaviors are suggested. Moreover, provable decision metric values through measurements of the number of violent condition are derived. As a result of the experiments with the threshold values, showed more than 80% recognition success rate. A future research for abnormal behaviors recognition system in a crowded circumstance remains to be developed.
People generally believe that disaster forecast and warning systems and response systems are well established in the age of cutting edge technology. As a matter of fact, reliable systems to respond to disasters are not properly equipped, as we witnessed the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014. The existing forecast and warning systems are based on sensor information with low efficiency, and image information is only operated by monitoring staff manually. In addition, the interconnection between a warning system and a response system in order to decide how to cope with the recognized disaster is very insufficient. This paper introduces the CCTV based disaster recognition and real time crisis response system composed of the CCTV image recognition engine and the crisis response technique. This system has brought the possibility to overcome the limitations of existing sensor based forecast and warning systems, and to resolve the problems in the absence of monitoring staff when responding to crisis.
Human motion tracking algorithm is receiving attention from many research areas, such as human computer interaction, video conference, surveillance analysis, and game or entertainment applications. Over the last decade, various tracking technologies for each application have been demonstrated and refined among them such of real time computer vision and image processing, advanced man-machine interface, and so on. In this paper, we introduce cost-effective and real-time human motion tracking algorithms based on depth image 3D point matching with a given superellipsoid body representation. The body representative model is made by using parametric volume modeling method based on superellipsoid and consists of 18 articulated joints. For more accurate estimation, we exploit initial inverse kinematic solution with classified body parts' information, and then, the initial pose is modified to more accurate pose by using 3D point matching algorithm.

This paper propose a method to sort flame regions and non-flame regions in a color image based on temperature Characteristics of flame. The traditional algorithms simply detect flame regions those are colored between yellow and red and there are lot of false detection in this method. But the colors of real flame are fallen between white and red and flame color variation over the flame. In this paper, it reduce false detection by separating colors according to temperature Characteristics of flame. The proposed method firstly finds a color model to express the temperature Characteristics of fire and then the color model is non-linearly quantized based on color values and analyzed using histogram and finally detect the candidate flame regions. The proposed method has 71.8% of matching rate and if it is compared with non-matching rate of traditional algorithms, the non-matching rate is improved by 27 times than others.

Human face detection technique plays an important role in computer vision area. It has lots of applications such as face recognition, video surveillance, human computer interface, face image database management, and querying image databases. In this paper, a fast face detection approach using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Support Vector Machines (SVM) is proposed based on the previous study on face detection technique. In the proposed detection system, firstly it filter the face potential area using statistical feature which is generated by analyzing the local histogram distribution the detection process is speeded up by eliminating most of the non-face area in this step. In the next step, PCA feature vectors are generated, and then detect whether there are faces present in the test image using SVM classifier. Finally, store the detection results and output the results on the test image. The test images in this paper are from CMU face database. The face and non-face samples are selected from the MIT data set. The experimental results indicate the proposed method has good performance for face detection.
In this paper, we implement a viewer program that can monitor effectively using omni-directional images. The program consists of four modes: Normal mode, ROI(Region of Interest) mode, Tracking mode, and Auto-rotation mode, and the results for each mode is displayed simultaneously. In the normal mode, the wide angle image is rendered as a spherical image to enable pan, tilt, and zoom. In ROI mode, the area is displayed expanded by selecting an area. And, in Auto-rotation mode, it is possible to track the object by mapping the position of the object with the rotation angle of the spherical image to prevent the object from deviating from the spherical image in Tracking mode. Parallel programming for processing of multiple modes is performed to improve the processing speed. This has the advantage that various angles can be seen compared with surveillance system having a limited angle of view.

Recently child abuse has occurred frequently in educational institutions such as daycare center and kindergarten. Therefore, government made it mandatory to install CCTVs, but it is not easy to inspect the CCTV images. In this paper, we propose a model for judging child abuse using CCTV images. First of all, child abuse is a physical abuse of children by adults, thus a model for classifying adults and children is needed. The existing Haar scheme uses the frontal image to classify adults and children. However, the OpenPose allows to classify adults and children regardless of frontal and side image. In this research, a child abuse judgment model was designed and implemented by applying characteristics of adult and child posture when a child was abused. Since the implemented system utilizes the currently installed CCTV image, it is possible to monitor the child abuse in real time without any additional installation, which enables us to cope with the abuse promptly.

Recently, as the installation of a large number of high-performance CCTVs for crime prevention and traffic control has increased rapidly, the problem of increasing system requirements for response to privacy infringement factors and analysis of high-definition image information transmitted from multiple cameras has been actively emerging. Accordingly, there is a need for a method for responding to privacy infringement and a method for efficiently processing surveillance images input from multiple cameras. In this paper, in order to reduce the processing cost of the input image and improve the processing speed, an integrated image is generated by grouping images input from a plurality of cameras. After analyzing the pre-generated integrated video, it detects a preset privacy event or an event that highlights interest. Depending on whether or not an event is detected, you will perform an editing operation corresponding to the event.
For the scenario of open pit mining, at present, manual periodic verification is mainly carried out in China with the help of video surveillance, which requires continuous investment in labor cost and has poor timeliness. In order to solve this difficult problem of early warning and monitoring, this paper researches a spatialized algorithmic model and designs an early warning system for open-pit mine transboundary mining, which is realized by calculating the coordinate information of the mining and extracting equipments and comparing it with the layer coordinates of the approval range of the mines in real time, so as to realize the determination of the transboundary mining behavior of the mines. By taking the Pingxiang area of Jiangxi Province as the research object, after the field experiment, it shows that the system runs stably and reliably, and verifies that the target tracking accuracy of the system is high, which can effectively improve the early warning capability of the open-pit mines' overstepping the boundary, improve the timeliness and accuracy of mine supervision, and reduce the supervision cost.
