자가부식형 상아질 접착제와 상아질과의 전단결합강도 비교 (Comparison of the shear bond strength of self-etching dentin bonding agents to dentin)

  • The purpose of this study was to ascertain the bonding durability of self-etching dentin bonding agents to dentin by means of shear bonding strength. Several acid-etching dentin bonding system (ESPE Z100) and self-etching dentin bonding systems (DEN-FIL, GRADIA DIRET) were used. The occlusion surface of human molars were ground flat to expose dentin and treated with the etch bonding system according to manufactures instruction and followed by composite resin application. After 24hours of storage at 37$^{\circ}C$, the shear bonding strength of the specimens was measured in a universal testing machine with a 1mm/min crosshead speed. An one-way analysis of variance and the scheffe test were performed to identify significant differences (p<0.05). The bonded interfacial surfaces and treated dentin surfaces were examined using a SEM. Through the analysis of shear bond strength data and micro-structures of dentin-resin interfaces, following results are obtained. In dentin group, the shear bond strength of DEN-FIL showed statistical superiority in comparison to the other groups and followed by ESPE Z100 and GRADIA DIRECT (p<0.05).

RE 바이어스 스퍼터링한 Cr 박막과 감광성 폴리이미드 사이의 계면 TEM 분석 (TEM Analysis of Interfaces between Cr Film Sputtered with RE Bias and Photosensitive Polyimide)

  • 감광성 폴리이미드 위에 Cr을 RF 바이어스 스퍼터링 및 RF클리닝 후 DC 스퍼터링한 Cr/폴리이미드의 계면을 TEM으로 관찰하였다. RF power 밀도를 $0.13W/cm^2$에서 $2.12W/cm^2$로 증가시키면서 RF클리닝을 실시한 결과 폴리이미드의 에칭 양상이 둥근 모양에서 뾰족한 모양으로 변하였고 이방성 에칭으로 인해 거칠기가 크게 증가하였다. RF 바이어스 스퍼터링의 경우 RF power를 올리는 동안 RF 클리닝에 의해 폴리이미드가 에칭되었고, 에칭된 부분에 Cr이 증착된 계면을 단면으로 관찰한 결과 Cr과 폴리이미드가 겹쳐져서 혼합된 것처럼 보였다. 그러나 RF power를 올리는 시간을 단축시켜 Cr을 바이어스 스퍼터링했을 때에는 계면이 분명하게 관찰되어 Cr의 implantation이 일어나지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. RF 클리닝한 Cu/Cr/Polyimide를 필 테스트한 결과 짧은 시간의 RF 클리닝으로도 접착력이 크게 증가하였다. 그러므로 RF power를 올리는 동안 실시되었던 RF 클리닝이 RF 바이어스 스퍼터링한 Cr/Polyimide의 접착력 향상에 영향을 주었을 것으로 예상된다.

  • 투명한 유전체 박막과 관련된 측정 분야는 반도체 산업의 발전과 함께 급속히 성장하고 있으며, 회로의 고집적화 추세에 맞추어 고정밀도의 측정 성능을 요구하고 있다. 최근 웨이퍼의 광역 평탄화를 위한 CMP(chemical mechanical polishing)공정의 도입으로 인하여 박막의 두께뿐만 아니라 미세 형상에 대한 측정 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 기존의 비접촉 표면 형상 측정법의 하나인 백색광 주사 간섭법을 이용하여 박막의 두께 형상을 측정하여 새로운 측정 알고리즘 제시하고자 한다. 이 방법은 기존의 백색광 간섭 신호 해석법의 하나인 주파수 분석법과 비선형 최소 자승법을 이용함으로써 구현된다. 그리고 실험을 통하여 개발된 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 프랙탈 기하학의 계면 전기화학에로의 응용과 관련하여 프랙탈 표면을 향한 이온/원자 확산의 속도론에 대하여 다루었다. 우선 프랙탈 기하학의 기본 개념에 대하여 설명하였고, 이를 바탕으로 이온/원자의 확산 현상과 관련하여 다양한 전기적 입력하에서 전극 표면의 프랙탈 특성에 기인하는 특수한 반응 양상이 설명되었다 Chronoamperometry, chronopotentiometry및 linear sweep/cyclic voltammetry 실험시에 각각 관찰되는, 전극의 프랙탈 차원이 포함된 일 반화된 Cottrell, Sand 및 Randles-Sevcik 관계를 이론적으로 유도하였고, 그 의미에 대하여 설명하였다

  • Image projectors can turn any surface into a display. Integrating a surface projection with a user interface transforms it into an interactive display with many possible applications. Hand gesture interfaces are often used with projector-camera systems. Hand detection through color image processing is affected by the surrounding environment. The lack of illumination and color details greatly influences the detection process and drops the recognition success rate. In addition, there can be interference from the projection system itself due to image projection. In order to overcome these problems, a gesture interface based on depth images is proposed for projected surfaces. In this paper, a depth camera is used for hand recognition and for effectively extracting the area of the hand from the scene. A hand detection and finger tracking method based on depth images is proposed. Based on the proposed method, a touch interface for the projected surface is implemented and evaluated.

  • In this paper, the electrical characteristics of pentacene thin film transistors(TFTs) with stacked and surface-treated gate insulators have been investigated. The semiconductor layer of pentacene was thermally evaporated onto the stacked gate insulators. For the gate insulating materials. PVP(PolyvinylPhenol) and polystyrene were spin-coated with two different stacking orders, PVP-polystyrene and polystyrene-PVP. Rapid solvent evaporation during the spin-coating processes of these insulating layers produces non-equilibrium phase morphologies accompanied by surface undulations on gate insulator interfaces. This non-equilibrium phase morphology affects the growth mode of the subsequent pentacene layer. Therefore, in order to smoothen the gate dielectric surfaces, gate dielectric surfaces were rubbed laterally along the direction from the drain to the source TFTs with with stacked and surface-treated gate insulators have provided improved operational characteristics.

법랑 처리된 합금강판의 계면밀착특성 연구 (Interfacial Adhesion Properties of Enamel-coated Alloyed Steels)

  • The interfacial adhesion properties of enamel-coated, alloyed steels were in detail characterized by spectroscopic techniques. The surfaces of alloyed steels existed as oxidized states of $Fe_3O_4$. Therefore, the oxidized surfaces of the steels significantly interacted with the coated enamels for the adhesion. Ti-alloyed steel showed many micro-boundaries during thermal treatment and these micro-boundaries might cause the decline of the interfacial adhesion between enamel and steel. The depth profiles of enamel-coated, alloyed steels were investigated by GDS (glow discharge spectroscopy) and Ti component was found to be related to the interfacial adhesion between enamel and steel.

CF/Epoxy적층판의 충격손상거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Impact Damage Behavior of CF/Epoxy Composite Laminates)

  • In this paper, static and fatigue bending strengths and failure mechanisms of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics) laminates having impact damages have been evaluated. Composite laminates used for this experiment are CF/EPOXY orthotropy laminated plates, which have two-interfaces $[0^0_ 4/90^0_4]_{ sym}$. A steel ball launched by the air gun collides against CFRP laminates to generate impact damages. The damage growth during bending fatigue test is observed by the scanning acoustic microscope (SAM) and also, the fracture surfaces were observed by using the SEM (scanning electron microscope). In the case of impacted-side compression, fracture is propagated from the transverse crack generated near impact point. On the other hand, fracture is developed toward the impact point from the edge of interface-B delamination in the case of impacted-side tension. Eventually, failure mechanisms have been confirmed based on the observed delamination areas and fracture surfaces.

Experimental and numerical study on pre-peak cyclic shear mechanism of artificial rock joints

  • The pre-peak cyclic shear mechanism of two-order asperity degradation of rock joints in the direct shear tests with static constant normal loads (CNL) are investigated using experimental and numerical methods. The laboratory testing rock specimens contains the idealized and regular two-order triangular-shaped asperities, which represent the specific geometrical conditions of natural and irregular waviness and unevenness of rock joint surfaces, in the pre-peak cyclic shear tests. Three different shear failure patterns of two-order triangular-shaped rock joints can be found in the experiments at constant horizontal shear velocity and various static constant normal loads in the direct and pre-peak cyclic shear tests. The discrete element method is adopted to simulate the pre-peak shear failure behaviors of rock joints with two-order triangular-shaped asperities. The rock joint interfaces are simulated using a modified smooth joint model, where microscopic scale slip surfaces are applied at contacts between discrete particles in the upper and lower rock blocks. Comparing the discrete numerical results with the experimental results, the microscopic bond particle model parameters are calibrated. Effects of cyclic shear loading amplitude, static constant normal loads and initial waviness asperity angles on the pre-peak cyclic shear failure behaviors of triangular-shaped rock joints are also numerically investigated.

  • 고강도 PAN계 탄소섬유를 양극산화하여 섬유의 표면 관능기와 표면 자유에너지, 그리고 최종 복합재료의 기계적 특성 향상에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. FT-IR과 XPS 측정 결과, 양극산화에 의해 형성된 섬유 표면의 산소 관능기는 섬유의 표면 에너지와 복합재료의 층간 전단강도 (ILSS)에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 젖음액의 wicking rate에 근거한 접촉각 측정에서 탄소섬유의 양극산화는 표면 자유에너지의 극성 요소를 크게 증가시키며, 이것은 표면 에너지 관점에서 살펴볼 때 좋은 젖음성이 최종 복합재료의 섬유와 에폭시 수지 매트릭스사이의 계면결합력 향상에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 본 연구에서는 섬유 표면의 $O_{1s}$ $C_{11}$ ratio 또는 극성 요소와 복합재료의 ILSS사이에서 직선적인 상관관계를 나타낼 수 있었다.다.
