도어 임팩트 빔의 3점 굽힘 최대강도와 차량 장착 시 굽힘 좌굴강도와의 관계 (The Relation of Bending Buckling Strength in Vehicle and Three Point Bending Maximum Strength of Door Impact Beam)

  • First, three point bending analysis for the inclined press door impact beam was carried out to investigate inclination angle effect on the maximum strength with varying support distance. Next, for the system model with spring elements representing body stiffness at door mounting area, the bending structural behavior of impact beam mounted on vehicle was estimated. The mounting distance and inclination angle were changed and the beam bending buckling strength was presumed at the head displacement below which spring stiffness change has little effect on the load. Finally strength ratio to predict the bending buckling strength of impact beam mounted on vehicle from three point bending maximum strength of fixed support distance was suggested.

Forecasting volatility via conditional autoregressive value at risk model based on support vector quantile regression

  • The conditional autoregressive value at risk (CAViaR) model is useful for risk management, which does not require the assumption that the conditional distribution does not vary over time but the volatility does. But it does not provide volatility forecasts, which are needed for several important applications such as option pricing and portfolio management. For a variety of probability distributions, it is known that there is a constant relationship between the standard deviation and the distance between symmetric quantiles in the tails of the distribution. This inspires us to use a support vector quantile regression (SVQR) for volatility forecasts with the distance between CAViaR forecasts of symmetric quantiles. Simulated example and real example are provided to indicate the usefulness of proposed forecasting method for volatility.

  • This study develops a improved gate assignment algorithm and decision support system using its algorithm to extract a assignment result minimizing a walking distance of passengers in airport and maximizing the utilization rate of avaliable gates in domestic airports. By operation support system, it may contribute greatly in efficient enlargement of airport operation and increase the airport reliability through quickly coping with takeoff and landing delay of flight due to weather change, preservation and repair of gate, etc. Also, passengers who use airport terminal can minimize time and walking distance for departure, arrival, and transit, and it may greatly reduce the additional operation cost for common gates through maximizing the utilization rate for exclusive usage gates for airplanes which use gates.

  • The present experimental study investigates single-phase heat transfer coefficients downstream of support grid in $6{\times}6$ rod bundles. Support grid with split mixing vanes enhance heat transfer in rod bundles by generating it make turbulence. But this turbulence is confined to short distance. Support grid with LSVF mixing vanes enhanced heat transfer to longer distance. The corresponding Reynolds number investigated in the present study is Re=30,000. The heat transfer coefficients are measured using heated and unheated copper sensor.

Research on the deformation characteristics and support methods of the cross-mining roadway floor influence by right-angle trapezoidal stope

  • Influenced by the alternating effects of dynamic and static pressure during the mining process of close range coal seams, the surrounding rock support of cross mining roadway is difficult and the deformation mechanism is complex, which has become an important problem affecting the safe and efficient production of coal mines. The paper takes the inclined longwall mining of the 10304 working face of Zhongheng coal mine as the engineering background, analyzes the key strata fracture mechanism of the large inclined right-angle trapezoidal mining field, explores the stress distribution characteristics and transmission law of the surrounding rock of the roadway affected by the mining of the inclined coal seam, and proposes a segmented and hierarchical support method for the cross mining roadway affected by the mining of the close range coal seam group. The research results indicate that based on the derived expressions for shear and tensile fracture of key strata, the ultimate pushing distance and ultimate suspended area of a right angle trapezoidal mining area can be calculated and obtained. Within the cross mining section, along the horizontal direction of the coal wall of the working face, the peak shear stress is located near the middle of the boundary. The cracks on the floor of the cross mining roadway gradually develop in an elliptical funnel shape from the shallow to the deep. The dual coupling support system composed of active anchor rod support and passive U-shaped steel shed support proposed in this article achieves effective control of the stability of cross mining roadways, which achieves effective control of floor by coupling active support and preventive passive support to improve the strength of the surrounding rock itself. The research results are of great significance for guiding the layout, support control, and safe mining of cross mining roadways, and to some extent, can further enrich and improve the relevant theories of roof movement and control.

  • The article discusses the features of the use of distance technologies to intensify the learning process of students. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning are shown.   • 현재까지 모바일 원격 교육 분야에는 강의 동영상이나 강의 자료를 다운로드 받는 형태의 비동기식 모바일 원격 교육 시스템이 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 그러나 강사의 동영상뿐만 아니라 슬라이드 및 애노테이션, 그리고 학생으로부터의 피드백 등을 실시간으로 지원하는 동기식 모바일 원격 교육 시스템은 드문 실정이다. 이러한 모바일 원격 교육 시스템의 경우 강사와 학생간의 실시간 상호작용을 지원함으로써 강의에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있는 장점이 있으나, 학생들이 과거의 강의를 다시 경험할 수 없는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점은 강의가 이루어지는 동안의 이벤트들을 저장하는 세션 레코딩, 그리고 저장된 이벤트들을 다시 재수행하는 세션 리플레이 기능을 통하여 해결될 수 있다. 그러나 세션 레코딩과 리플레이를 실시간으로 지원하는 모바일 원격 교육 시스템은 아직까지 드문 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 강의자의 비디오 및 오디오, 슬라이드 및 애노테이션, 그리고 학생으로부터의 피드백 등을 실시간으로 지원할 뿐만 아니라, 기존의 모바일 원격 교육 시스템에서는 제공되지 않는 세션 레코딩과 리플레이를 지원하는 안드로이드 스마트폰 기반의 동기식 모바일 원격 교육 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 시스템에 대하여 학생들에게 만족도를 조사한 결과 긍정적인 답변이 61.3%로서 부정적인 답변인 3.2%보다 상당히 높았다.

A cautionary note on the use of Cook's distance

  • An influence measure known as Cook's distance has been used for judging the influence of each observation on the least squares estimate of the parameter vector. The distance does not reflect the distributional property of the change in the least squares estimator of the regression coefficients due to case deletions: the distribution has a covariance matrix of rank one and thus it has a support set determined by a line in the multidimensional Euclidean space. As a result, the use of Cook's distance may fail to correctly provide information about influential observations, and we study some reasons for the failure. Three illustrative examples will be provided, in which the use of Cook's distance fails to give the right information about influential observations or it provides the right information about the most influential observation. We will seek some reasons for the wrong or right provision of information.

철도교량 단부 회전에 따른 콘크리트 궤도의 변형특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Characteristics of Deformation for Concrete Track on Railway Bridge Deck End induced by Bridge End Rotation)

  • 본 연구에서는 교량 단부의 레일지지점 간격, 교량과 교대사이 거리(유간) 및 교량 단부 회전각을 고려하여 콘크리트 궤도가 부설된 교량 단부 궤도의 거동을 분석하였다. 궤도구조가 고려된 교량 및 교대 시험체를 이용한 실내시험 결과, 동일한 유간(레일지지점 간격)에서 교량 단부 회전각이 증가함에 따라 레일의 변위가 선형적으로 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 레일의 변위는 레일 및 체결구의 발생응력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 실험결과를 바탕으로 다중 회귀분석을 수행하여 레일지지점 간격 및 교량의 단부 회전각을 매개변수로 하는 철도교량 단부 궤도의 궤도-교량 상호작용력 예측식을 도출하였다.
