Electromagnetic Model to Estimate the Vibrations of a Switched Reluctance Machine on the Basis of the Eelctric Power Supply

  • The vibrations and noise origin in electric material is due to several coupled physical phenomena. The revolving electric machine complete modeling is complex; it does not allow simple parametric machine structure studies for various operation modes. This work presents a simple electromagnetic model which makes possible the machine principal parts flow estimation from flux density. Special interest is given in determining Switched Reluctance Machine (S.R.M) radial acceleration in accordance with the current supply. Our focus will be only on the magnetic origin efforts that are dominating in the S.R.M. The efforts calculation versus the current is presented in the case of a machine with a linearized rate. These efforts are considered as a tangential force producing the torque and a radial force that generates no torque. The application is realized on a 6/4 low power S.R.M type (6 stator teeth and 4 teeth rotor). The mechanical response is substituted in a transfer function. The model takes account of the power supply of the machine, the relation between the current supply and the efforts as well as the vibratory response of the machine to these efforts. Finally, the model is validated by comparison with similar experimental results within the framework of the definite assumptions.

  • Recently, ESG management has become a global trend, receiving increasing attention from stakeholders such as consumers, investors, and governments, as regulations related to ESG disclosure and supply chain due diligence have been strengthened since the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI) was announced in 2006. ESG is an acronym for the environment (E), social (S), and governance (G) and is accepted as a key factor for the continuous survival and growth of a company. As a result, there are over 600 ESG management evaluation indicators operated domestically and internationally, and numerous global initiatives have emerged. Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also announced "K-ESG Guidelines (December 2011)" and "K-ESG Guidelines for Supply Chain Response (December 22)" to help SMEs introduce ESG management and respond to supply chain due diligence. However, small-scale manufacturing companies with poor financial, human resources, and technological capabilities face significant challenges in introducing ESG management. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the current status of ESG management adoption in small-scale manufacturing companies with less than 150 people in Korea and propose activation plan ESG management based on the diagnostic requirements of the "Supply Chain Response K-ESG Guidelines."

  • Cross-border supply chains undergone complexity in the global trade process, unpredictability and continually evolving regulations and information requirements. Under these circumstances, longer lead time inhibiting quick response to market demands, unanticipated supply chain costs eroding product cost savings, compliance and documentation errors causing delays and fines are challenging global trade companies when they execute global business. These problems are mainly caused by unautomated, unintegrated process which lead to longer and more unpredictable lead times, slower cash flow, cost overruns, and ultimately lower profits and less satisfied customers. Complex and unpredictable global trade environment requires global trade companies of global trade management functions to automate and control this complex environment for driving out cost, time and risk from their business. Global trade management allows cost savings, supply chain efficiencies and improved compliance through improving global supply chain visibility, facilitating cash flow by supply chain financing, enhancing supply chain security and risk management.

공급사슬 지속가능성 제고를 위한 선행요인들과 공급사슬 역량에 대한 연구 (A Study on Antecedence Factors and Supply Chain Capability for Improving Supply Chain Sustainability)

  • 본 연구는 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 공급사슬 역량, 공급사슬 지속가능성 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것으로 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행 요인과 공급사슬 역량 간의 관계, 공급사슬 역량과 공급사슬 지속가능성 간의 관계를 규명하고, 기업규모에 따른 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성 간의 차이를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 각 연구가설을 수립하고 검정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 환경규제준수, NGO 대응활동, CSR 활동, 거래공정성은 제조 민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본에 대부분 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검정되었으며, 제조민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본 역시 경제적·환경적·사회적 지속가능성에 대부분 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검정되었다. 그리고 기업규모에 따라 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성에 차이가 있는 것으로 검정되었다. 연구결과에 따른 시사점을 정리하면 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인들로 선정한 환경 규제 준수, NGO 대응활동, CSR 활동, 거래공정성 요인들은 지속가능성의 달성을 위한 공급사슬 역량에 기본적인 선행요인들로서 역할을 수행한다는 것을 확인하였다. 제조 민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본의 형성은 경제적·환경적·사회적 지속가능성의 수준을 제고할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인들의 제고는 공급사슬 역량의 제고로 이어질 수 있고, 나아가 공급사슬 지속가능성까지 제고할 수 있다는 것을 규명하였다. 그리고 대기업과 비교 시 중소기업의 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성의 수준을 더욱 제고하는 것 요구된다.

Supply models for stability of supply-demand in the Korean pork market

  • As the supply and demand of pork has become a significant concern in Korea, controlling it has become a critical challenge for the industry. However, compared to the demand for pork, which has relatively stable consumption, it is not easy to maintain a stable supply. As the preparation of measures for a supply-demand crisis response and supply control in the pig industry has emerged as an important task, it has become necessary to establish a stable supply model and create an appropriate manual. In this study, a pork supply prediction model is constructed using reported data from the pig traceability system. Based on the derived results, a method for determining the supply-demand crisis stage using a statistical approach was proposed. From the results of the analysis, working days, African swine fever, heat wave, and Covid-19 were shown to affect the number of pigs graded in the market. A test of the performance of the model showed that both in-sample error rate and out-sample error rate were between 0.3 - 7.6%, indicating a high level of predictive power. Applying the forecast, the distribution of the confidence interval of the predicted value was established, and the supply crisis stage was identified, evaluating supply-demand conditions.

소규모수도시설의 공급량-수요량 모니터링 체계 구축 및 가뭄 대응 방안 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of Water Supply and Demand Monitoring System and Drought Response Plan of Small-scale Water Facilities)

  • 가뭄으로 인한 제한급수나 단수로 인해 발생할 수 있는 물 복지 소외지역의 불편과 경제적 피해를 예방하기 위해서는 Sand Dam 건설과 같은 구조적 안정화 방안과 더불어 합리적 수요/공급량 관리 등을 통한 비구조적 관리 대책이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 소규모수도시설이 생활용수의 주 공급원인 춘천시 서상리 유역의 가뭄대응을 위해 공급량-수요량 모니터링 체계를 구축하였다. 공급량 모니터링을 위해 상류부 하천의 유량을 측정하였으며, 이를 SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool)의 매개변수 보정에 사용하여 일별 유출량을 산정하였다. 수요량 모니터링을 위하여 하천-저수조-가정으로 이어지는 용수 공급 네트워크를 작성하였으며, 저수조의 수위 변화를 측정하여 일별 사용량을 산정하였다. 최종적으로 산정된 일별 공급량과 수요량 간의 관계분석을 통해 용수 부족 여부를 파악할 수 있었으며, 가뭄 대응을 위한 효과적인 지표로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper presents the high performance real time control system of PWM inverter for uninterruptible power supply(UPS). This system is based on a digital control scheme which calculates the pulse widths of the inverter switches for the next sampling time in digital signal processor(DSP). A PI compensator is used to eliminate the voltage error caused by the difference between the actual values of LC filter and those designed. Double regulation loops which are the inner current loop and the outer voltage loop are used to make the transient response time reduce in load disturbance and nonlinear load. This method makes it possible to obtain better response in comparison to conventional digital control system. The proposed scheme provides good performance such as stable operation, low THD of the output voltage, and good dynamic response for load variations and nonlinear load.

  • Harmonic current originating from electric locomotives can be magnified due to the impedance characteristics of power supply circuit and bring about various problems. That is, electromagnetic interference with communication lines, operational trouble in signaling, overheat and/or vibration in power capacitor, mis-operation in protection relay and so on. Therefore, the exact assessment of the harmonic current flow must be undertaken at design and planning stage for the electric traction systems. For these reasons, this study propose a new approach to model and to analyse traction power feeding system focused on system response to current and voltage harmonic(PART I ). Measurements of harmonics are also performed for railway power supply systems under normal operation. Spectrum and distortion analyses in measurement data are variously described in PART II

  • In this paper, four quadrant CBPS(Compact Bipolar Power Supply) which development and study using universal PWM controller. The CBPS has 24V DC-link voltage, +/-5A output current, 50kHz switching frequency and 30Hz full load bandwidth using FET device. Proposed system has two independent PWM controllers for each full-bridge switch leg drive and PI control loops for current regulations. It is shown experimental results that good step response of the current output.
