This review aimed to assess and compare the outcomes of the anesthetic efficacy of inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) and Gow-Gates mandibular nerve block (GGMNB) in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. A descriptive systematic review of quantitative research was conducted wherein the "Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA)" was adopted, and the Problem/Patient/Population, Intervention/Indicator, Comparison, Outcome (PICO) criteria were used to structure the research question. A literature search was performed using PubMed/Medline, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, and Ovid. Selection criteria were applied for populations over nine years of age, of either sex, with irreversible pulpitis, and articles published in English regarding conventional IANB or IANB and Gow-Gates techniques between 2009 and 2019. Prospective randomized clinical trials or randomized controlled trials were included in the review, in which anesthetic efficacy or success was measured. After screening, four articles were included. Three studies were randomized clinical trials, and two were randomized controlled trials. The validity and reliability of the individual studies were examined. There was evidence of the higher efficacy of the GGMNB technique than that of the IANB technique. However, both techniques can be mastered through training.
Objectives: The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical and radiographic success of the Hall technique (HT) and atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) restorations using high-viscosity glass-ionomer cement for the management of occlusal carious lesions in primary molars. Materials and Methods: This randomized clinical study observed 40 children (aged 5-6 years). For each child, one tooth was treated with HT and one with ART. The primary outcome measures for HT restorations were successful, minor, and major failure rates. Clinical evaluations of ART restorations were performed according to the modified United States Public Health Service criteria during 18-month follow-up. McNemar test was used for statistical analysis. Results: Thirty of 40 (75%) participants returned for 18 months of follow-up. In the clinical evaluations of teeth that were treated with HT, the patients did not have complaints of pain or other symptoms, all crowns remained in the oral cavity, the gums were healthy, and the teeth were functional in all evaluations. At the end of the 18-month follow-up, the surface texture and marginal integrity criteria of ART restorations were recorded as 26.7% and 33.3%, respectively. In the radiographic evaluation of 30 patients treated with ART and HT, all restorations were considered successful. Conclusions: The 18-month clinical and radiographic results after treatments applied to single-surface cavities in anxious children showed that both treatment methods were successful.
In this paper, we searched for impact factors by brainstorming and calculated the weights of them using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method in order to develop energy technology strategy for the future. AHP is a useful method for evaluating multi-criteria decision making problems. We selected 3 criteria(possibility of success for developing technology, application of the technology, technical spin-off) and 10 sub-criteria. According to the result in this study, the most important sub-criterion is the possibility of commercialization, the second is the possibility of developing the fundamental technology, and the third is the possibility of convergence technology. The other side, the lowest important sub-criterion is the difference of technical standards as compared with advanced countries.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to evaluate the success rate of dental implant on post-traumatic region to rehabilitate missing teeth. Patients and Methods 5 patients who had been treated due to maxillofacial trauma during 2000 to 2004 at samsung medical center were selected for this study. 22 dental implants were installed to them for restoring missing teeth. The success rate of these dental implants was evaluated with criteria by T. Albrektsson. We divided installed 22 implants into 2 categories. One category consisted rough surface implants group and smooth surface implants group. And the other category consisted more healing group and less healing group. The healing time was calculated from point of trauma. Results The success rate of dental implants is 68.2% that is lower than other studies because of poor vascularity of bone bed and mechanical stress according to trauma. Rough surface implants group and More healing group showed superior success rate to others. (P < 0.05). Conclusion We found that to increase success rate, it may need rough surface implants and longer healing period.

Because thermal design of satellite carrying out mission in space is performed by thermal analysis result using thermal mathematical model, accuracy of thermal mathematical model is important and it can be improved by model correlation. Correlation steps of satellite thermal math model are composed of modeling of satellite configuration placed in thermal vacuum chamber, verification of correspondence between thermal math model and real satellite configuration, and adjustment of modeling parameters from major part to minor part etc. In this study, correlation success criteria was established and correlation for satellite thermal math model was performed using result of thermal vacuum test of satellite structure-thermal model to meet the success criteria. The overall results satisfied the criteria and this correlated thermal model was applied for detailed thermal design of satellite.
PURPOSE. This study aimed to analyze factors influencing the success and failure of implant prostheses and to estimate the lifespan of prostheses using standardized evaluation criteria. An online survey platform was utilized to efficiently gather large samples from multiple institutions. MATERIALS AND METHODS. During the one-year period, patients visiting 16 institutions were assessed using standardized evaluation criteria (KAP criteria). Data from these institutions were collected through an online platform, and various statistical analyses were conducted. Risk factors were assessed using both the Cox proportional hazard model and Cox regression analysis. Survival analysis was conducted using Kaplan-Meier analysis and nomogram, and lifespan prediction was performed using principal component analysis. RESULTS. The number of patients involved in this study was 485, with a total of 841 prostheses evaluated. The median survival was estimated to be 16 years with a 95% confidence interval. Factors found to be significantly associated with implant prosthesis failure, characterized by higher hazard ratios, included the 'type of clinic', 'type of antagonist', and 'plaque index'. The lifespan of implant prostheses that did not fail was estimated to exceed the projected lifespan by approximately 1.34 years. CONCLUSION. To ensure the success of implant prostheses, maintaining good oral hygiene is crucial. The estimated lifespan of implant prostheses is often underestimated by approximately 1.34 years. Furthermore, standardized form, online platform, and visualization tool, such as nomogram, can be effectively utilized in future follow-up studies.

Module of the LED traffic signal is the core component for the care of driver and walker. Also it is important one to control the traffic. If it is against the criteria of brightness, it is the source of the people's death and traffic congestion. Therefore, it is a list of articles desired the security of stability. However, there is not the analysis of failure and not preserve the uniformity of quality. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the criteria of appreciation for the module of the LED traffic signal to analysis the data of failure. In this paper, we investigate the performance test, environment field test and test of reliability appreciation to improve the reliability. We also set up the criteria of success decision using the real measurement data.
Uncertainties in geomechanical input parameters which mainly related to inappropriate data acquisition and estimation due to lack of sufficient calibration information, have led wellbore instability not yet to be fully understood or addressed. This paper demonstrates a workflow of employing Quantitative Risk Assessment technique, considering these uncertainties in terms of rock properties, pore pressure and in-situ stresses to makes it possible to survey not just the likelihood of accomplishing a desired level of wellbore stability at a specific mud pressure, but also the influence of the uncertainty in each input parameter on the wellbore stability. This probabilistic methodology in conjunction with Monte Carlo numerical modeling techniques was applied to a case study of a well. The response surfaces analysis provides a measure of the effects of uncertainties in each input parameter on the predicted mud pressure from three widely used failure criteria, thereby provides a key measurement for data acquisition in the future wells to reduce the uncertainty. The results pointed out that the mud pressure is tremendously sensitive to UCS and SHmax which emphasize the significance of reliable determinations of these two parameters for safe drilling. On the other hand, the predicted safe mud window from Mogi-Coulomb is the widest while the Hoek-Brown is the narrowest and comparing the anticipated collapse failures from the failure criteria and breakouts observations from caliper data, indicates that Hoek-Brown overestimate the minimum mud weight to avoid breakouts while Mogi-Coulomb criterion give better forecast according to real observations.
Recently, new financial services related to FinTech has gained attention more and more. Online P2P financial services transactions such as FinTech require careful examination of the constituents of information systems as an investment is made based on the information presented on the online platform without direct face-to-face contact. The purpose of this study is to find out the success factors of online P2P Lending service among FinTech. To serve the purpose, we build IS (information system) success model, and then use Kano model and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) to find out factors for the success of online P2P Lending service. In particular, this study uses Kano model to classify information system satisfaction factors and to calculate the satisfaction coefficient. The Kano model, however, has a drawback of evaluating single criterion. Therefore, we use multi-criteria decision-making technique such as Fuzzy-AHP to derive the relative importance of the factors. The analysis results show different results depending on the analysis technique. In the Kano model, most of the information system factors are a one-dimensional quality attribute. The satisfaction coefficient is highest for personalized service, followed by the responsiveness of service, ease of using a system, understanding of information, usefulness of information' reliability. The service reliability is the highest in dissatisfaction coefficient, followed by system security, service responsiveness, system stability, and personalized service. The results of the Fuzzy-AHP analysis shows that the usefulness of information quality, the personalization of service quality, and the security of system quality are the significant factors and the stability of system quality was a secondary factor.
The D&M(DeLone and McLean) IS(Information System) Success model has been widely studied in various criteria such as e-commerce and education, and many empirical research has been performed enough to execute meta-analysis from original model developed in 1992 to updated model in 2003. However, almost all researches have been validated end-user point of view those could lead IS success factors perceived by users but not applicable to developers because developers could not recognize from those result that how much gap exist between one's perception and users. Therefore, in this research, we apply D&M IS success model to A bank developers and users and compare perceptions by multi-group structural equation model.
