지하역사 제연경계벽의 제연 효용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency of Smoke Barriers in the Subway Station)

  • Casualties Damage from Smoke is very serious consequence. Especially, Damage from smoke in in the Subway Station is the terrible result. Smoke from the fire in the Subway Station that evacuation route on the path and the sight of refugees caused by serious traffic problems. Accordingly, A study on Smoke barriers of smoke systems take into considerations relate to effects depending on wind velocity speed of the piston effect come into the retarding effect of smoke control in smoke barriers. As a result of modeling, According to increasing of Velocity in the platform which installed smoke barriers were been on the increase spreading quantity of smoke in the right direction of upstairs however, In contrast spreading quantity of smoke in the left direction on the upstairs were been on the decrease.

  • Nowadays, subway station has provided not only transportation but living spaces for everyday activities. Therefore, a variety of facilities have been installed for a safety of citizens such as fire-fighting equipment, platform screen doors and giving high level of benefits such as air-conditioning and heating equipment, escalators, lighting apparatus. In order to operate these facilities appropriately, it is needless to say that electric power supply must be reliable. Many protection relays have been installed to protect electric apparatus and power system, nevertheless it..s study has been insufficient in the concrete. From this paper, through analyzing of protection relay system of electric room operated in line 2 of Seoul metro, we can help to improve stable power supply system of subway station.

  • At present, communication network for subway is making use of the train radio system for main network and normally established a base station every three subway station. It is talk over the telephone between a locomotive and the traffic control for careful train service. Besides, mobile telephone equipment is using for service improve and convenience to passengers such as 011, 016, 017, 019 and what not. However, the train radio system has been occurring a various problems when a state of emergency because it is able to compose only one communication route each base station zone. We could have improving like this problems through induce the TRS(Trunked Radio System), though because have been able to compose multilateral communication route in case of linking with LCX(Leaked Coaxial) cable which is established. Therefore, we could be able to a fitting meet the emergency as train firing etc.. and efficient use of limited frequency resources.

열차하중을 지지하는 지하철정거장 중간슬래브의 안정성 연구 (A Study on Stability of Middle Slabs supporting Train Loads in Subway Station)

  • This study present the stability of middle slabs directly supporting train loads in the subway station. According to results of Quality confirmation, mixing and curing conditions are good. But, when effects of hydration heat are analyzed, cracks seems to take place because tensile stress is higher than tensile strength in several points of middle slabs. It is found that vibration by train running don't have an effect on cracks in the structure. The structural analysis shows that there is no problem on the stability of structural body, but the design through 3-dimensional analysis is need to consider columns and opening specially in the subway station structures.

The Application of Network Theory to Subway Transportation in Seoul, Korea

  • Network approach is used to find the shortest paths and transportation time between the subway stations in Seoul, Korea. Because of transfer stations, we reconstruct the subway network to compute the shortest routes and corresponding transportation times. The reconstructed network is useful to obtain desired information because it can handle the transfer time between tracks. Time and route information about the subway system is obtained and it will be displayed in the subway guide board at each station. Then, all passengers can have the information of shortest route to a destination and corresponding transportation time.

  • The heat and smoke which generated by subway under fire is one of the most harmful factor in air tighten underground station. To prevent this, Trackway Exhaust System(TES) can be used. The heat released from the train running in the tunnel raises the temperature at the platform and the trackway, and thus proper ventilation system is required for comfortable underground environment. When the fire is occurred, TES is operated as smoke exhaust mode from normal ventilation mode. In the present study, the subway station which is one of the line number 9 in Seoul subway is modeled, and fired situation is simulated with several ventilation mode of ventilation system in trackway. For this simulation whole station is modeled. Non steady state 3D simulation which considered train under fire is entering to the station is performed. Temperature and smoke distribution in platform and trackway are compared. To represent heat by fire, heat flux was given to the fired carriage, also to describe smoke by fire, concentration of CO is represented. As the result of present study, temperature and smoke distribution is different as the method of ventilation in trackway and platform is changed. In over side of trackway, the fan must be operated as exhaust mode for efficient elimination of heat and smoke, and supply mode of fan operation in under side shows better distribution of heat and smoke. The ventilation system which is changed from ventilation mode to exhaust mode can be applied to control heat and smoke under fire.

  • 본 논문에서는 대심도 지하철역사의 승강장 종류에 따라 화재시 연기의 전파특성을 비교하였다. 본 연구에서 비교 대상역사로서 상대식 승강장은 서울 숭실대입구역사(47m)로, 섬식은 부산 만덕지하역사(65m)를 선정하여 각 역사에 대하여 화재전산모사를 수행하였다. 해석을 통하여 화재의 연기전파특성을 파악하였으며, 그 결과를 이용하여 각 승강장 종류별로 대심도 지하역사의 방재대책을 세우고자 한다.

  • 지하철의 등장으로 역 주변지역은 상대적으로 접근성이 좋아지기 때문에 통행인구가 집중되고 그에 따라 다양한 경제, 문화, 상업활동이 입지하게 된다. 따라서 지하철을 도시생활의 중심이 될 수 있는 공간으로 발전시키기 위해서는 지하철에 대한 도시계획차원에서의 종합적인 관리 수단이 마련되어야 한다. 본 연구는 공간 의사결정지원 체계(SDSS; Spatial Decision Support System)로서 효과적으로 응용되고 있는 GIS와 웹 3D 기술을 이용하여 인터넷상에서 지하철 인접시설물과 관련된 다양한 3차원 공간객체 데이터베이스를 관리하도록 웹 서버(Web Server)를 구축한 것으로 지하철역 인접 시설물과의 연계성의 확보를 통해 도시 공간을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 것이다.

  • A study on fire phenomena in a subway transit mass station has been carried out as a part of disaster prevention plan at the subway station. The ventilation facilities installed in both the platform and the trackway are designed to convert into a smoke exhaust system in emergency situation, creating an environment necessary for evacuation. 3 dimensional Numerical Simulations based on the CFD are carried out using a simulation tool, Fire Dynamic Simulator. Total of six different cases are made and performances are compared each other to find optimal vents operation to ensure safer environment for evacuation at the platform area considering the installation of platform screen door.

전동차 객실의 실내공기질 평가 - $CO_2$ 농도와 승객 수 (Assessment of Indoor Air Quality of Subway - $CO_2$ Concentrations and Number of Passengers)

  • With increasing concerns of indoor air quality, $CO_2$ concentration in the public transportation, such as train, bus, and subway, draws big interests. The $CO_2$ concentration in the indoor air is regarded as index of ventilation status rather than that of adverse health effect. In this study, we measured the time-series of $CO_2$ concentrations in the subway saloon at the Subway line 1 (Suwon-station to Cheongyangri-station) with the number of passengers on board. At the same time, the concentration of particulate matter (PM), temperature, and humidity were monitored. It was found that the $CO_2$ concentration was correlated linearly with number of passengers and the relation function is suggested for the prediction of $CO_2$ conecntration by the number of passengers.
