This study analyzed the relationship between stressful life events and state of mental health among middle class non working housewives and working housewives (104 pair) by age from June 5 to June 19, 1995 in seoul. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The degree of stressful life events was not statistically significant, but the degree working housewives group (Mean 1. 448) was higher than that of non-working housewives group (Mean 1.509). 2. The state of mental health showed statistically significant (p<. 01) the degree of non-working housewives group (Mean 7.36) was higher than that of working housewives (Mean 5.52). 3. The correlation between stressful life events and state of mental health showed natural in both non-Working housewives group (r=.497, p<.001) and working housewives (r=.532. p<.000), so increased stress is related to lower mental health. 4. The degree of stressful life events based on social psychological factor, showed statistically significant (p<.05) in the feeling of life, and the state of mental health was statistically significant in the part of feeling of life (p<.05) and subjective health state (p=.000)
This study aimed to verify the positive effects of forest activities for children from economically underprivileged households in local children's centers and the effect of such activities on the protective factors of their development. One hundred and eighty five children participated in the Forest Activities Program, which conducted over a total 8 sessions. Pre-post tests of the subjective well-being scale, DAS, multiple life satisfaction scale, ego-resilience scale were conducted and the children then made picture stories during the program itself. The results of the analysis of differences between pre-post tests were as follows: first, the negative emotions of participating children decreased significantly. Second, the school-satisfaction and self-satisfaction levels of the participating children increased. Third the participating children's positive perceptions of self and interpersonal relationships also increased through the forest activities. Finally, there were differences of the change types of picture stories that children created while they were participating in the program; and these divergences were related to the effectiveness of the program. These forest activities had positive effects upon the economically disadvantaged children who participated in this study. However, in order to increase the effects of such forest activities qualitatively, greater support for the active involvement of children is required.
The purpose of this study is to identify how primary students make decision in an anomalous situation of discrepancy between the observation result and their prior knowledge and what is the relationship between their decision and views on science. In this study, the researchers have observed a science class of fifth graders for two months and collected qualitative data such as field note, audio transcript, video-recording, photo and interviews. It is shown that participants experienced three types of subjective observation as listed: expectation-related, theory-dependent and dilemmatic observation. The questionnaire of the students to the views on science reveals that most of them thought highly of empiricism and utility of science. With this result, it is found that they took into account the limitation and provision of experiments while making judgment in an anomalous situation. That is to say, their assessment of experiments and observation is crucial in judgment in the situation that their observation is incompatible with their prior knowledge. The researchers conclude that their views on science may influence their observation and suggest the ways to promote students' ability linked to observation.
This research aims to find the information concerning nutritional status and food intake in Korean dirt betic men. Thus, the survey was made on 202 NIDDM patients over 35 age at University Hospital. The data were analysed using F-test and mutiple comparison in SAS package program. Main results were as follows : Incidence of diabetes is high in their forties and fifties. Most of them are salary men, administrators, and professionals in middle class, who reside in metropolitan area including Seoul. They used to take light exercise and were founded NIDDM by subjective symptoms. 36.6% of them have other diseases simultaneously such as hypertension, cancer, etc. Food intake pattern prior to incidence was that intake frequency of grains, sugars, protein foods, and liking foods was higher than of processed foods. Amounts of calorie intake were shown to be lower than normal persons, so that it seemed to be controlled by doctors. In addition, the calorie ratio derived from fat was lower than RDA. Thus protein and carbohydrate ratio was relatively higher than RDA. Total moan fatty acid intake was 32.15g and it is no significance among weight groups in various fatty acid intakes. With respect to the physical standards of the diabetic men, weight, PIBW BMI, BMM, 757, arm circumference, and waist /hip ratio were higher than in normal. Therefore it seemed that these factors would be related to the diabetics. From now on, it is required to research the correlations of fatty acid intakes on the diabetes and their influence to serum lipid profiles.

This article examines the historical view of Benito $P{\acute{e}}rez$$Gald{\acute{o}}s$ in his historical novel named "Zaragoza" and "$C{\acute{a}}novas$" by comparing with Numancia of Cervantes. In front of the national survival crisis, $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ recognizes that it is necessary that Spain should recover humanity and morality on basis of the krausist ideal. The krausists warned subjective idealism, stressing on free-will and moral conscience in a harmonious balance of rationality. Without refusing patriotism, they warned egoistic patriotism deformed by national selfishness or nationalism. Giner de los Ríos insisted on a necessity of harmonizing national inclination and universal one. $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ emphasizes that the identity of Spain is not possession of privileged class but sweat and tears of the mass of people in daily life. He represents Efemera as the ideal history on the basis of Unamuno's 'intrahistoria', by which, instead of $Luk{\acute{a}}cs^{\prime}$ progressive history, we can peep into a historical poetics of human free nature and vividness of discontinuous and endless shifting. According to the sub-history, we come to the conclusion that $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ and Cervantes would lay emphasis on sub-history, aiming to essence of Spanish soul originated from national landscape and people's daily life.

Recently, the call for better accountability and social responsibility from corporations has been regularly voiced, both in the academic literature and in public discussions. This poses a challenge to the existing literature in understanding consumption behaviors to direct them toward sustainable development. This study investigates the purchase intention of Gen Z consumers in Vietnam with green packaging products. Data were collected from 914 respondents by online questionnaire and then analyzed using OLS. The results suggest the significant influence of customers' income and packaging in driving customers' intention to use environmentally-friendly products. Specifically, consumers in a higher income class participate more actively in green purchases. However, problems associated with inadequate packaging are also illustrated, resulting in the poor perception of green messages and poor practice of ecological actions. Besides, subjective norms and green trust are found to be adversely related to green consumer intention. In addition, gender disparity in green behavior is reported, where female consumers show a higher tendency to ecological consumption than their male counterparts. Other demographic factors are also included in the model as control variables, which are age, education, price, environmental literacy, environmental concern, and psychological awareness, but they do not have a significant impact on green purchase intention.
In the 21st century, green consumer behavior, playing one of the core roles of sustainability, is still an important issue to green-related stakeholders. Because one of the major objectives of green-consumer research is an improvement of behaviors aligned with greening, this paper revisited socio-demographic variables and shed light on segmenting and profiling green consumers based on their connectedness between socio-demographic variables and green behaviors. Using correlations, factor analysis, analysis of variance, k-means cluster analysis and χ2-tests, this paper shows that socio-demographic variables differentially impact green-consumer behaviors. In order to profile green consumers, this paper additionally attempts to segment green-consumer groups. The results also coincide with former findings that socio-demographic variables relate significantly with segmented green-consumer group behaviors. General findings are summarized as: 1) older people used green practices more strongly than younger people, 2) females demonstrated better energy-saving and recycling practices compared to males, 3) marital status also significantly influenced green-related behaviors, 4) subjective social class had a significant influence on green-related behaviors, 5) education level and income, however, weakly influenced or showed no impact on green-related behaviors, and 6) a green consumer was classified as an 'active green consumer,' 'utilitarian green consumer,' or 'inactivated green consumer.' The utilitarian green consumer group distinctively behaved more strongly in energy-saving and recycling practices compared to the inactivated green consumer group, whereas active green consumers behaved more strongly on the whole, when compared to those in the inactivated green consumer group.
In this study, damages due to the aircraft noise were examined in more than 190 elementary, middle and high schools near the airports in Korea, and the persecutory idea forecast model was established using the quantification theory type II. Via the survey of 1,012 teachers in the schools, a class interference forecast model was established, and the noise characteristics of five areas, four military/civil common-use airports and one shooting range, were examined. The following conclusions were made from the study. WECPNL values in the five military/civil common-use airports showed that all of them were Class 1 or 2 affected areas, which indicated that they had serious aircraft noise problems to be addressed. The most influential factor in the aircraft noise persecutory idea model was the distance between the airport and the school. It showed a positive relationship at a distance of less than 5 km, and a negative relationship at a distance of 10 km or more. The number and time of aircraft noise exposure as well as the types of airports and window structures had strong influences. The forecast model had a correlation ratio of 0.56, which indicates that it is highly appropriate. In the class interference factor analysis, the time and number of aircraft noise exposure were strong influential factors, and the results varied according to the service duration and sex of teachers. This model had a correlation ratio of 0.61, which indicates it is highly appropriate.
The purpose of this study is to explore latent classes of longitudinal medical expenses of older people and to analyze its predictors and its effects on subjective health. Among participants of the Korean Health Panel, the sample of this study includes 1,119 people who is 65-year-old or older and reported their medical expenses for nine consecutive years. The analyses were conducted in three steps. First, Growth Mixture Model (GMM) was applied to find distinct subgroups showing similar patterns in medical expenses. The results showed four groups which were classified as high medical expenditure maintenance group, medical expenditure increase group, low medical expenditure maintenance group, and medical expenditure reduction group. Second, the multinominal logistic regression found that the presence of spouse, economic participation, the number of chronic diseases, and the type of health insurance were significant predictors of latent classes in medical expenses. In particular, the greater the number of chronic diseases, the higher the likelihood of belonging to the high medical expenditure maintenance group. In addition, medical benefit recipients are more likely to belong to the low medical cost maintenance and medical cost reduction groups. Third, multiple regression analysis revealed that the older people in the groups with low or reducing expenses reported better subjective health than people with higher expenses. This study has its meanings in exploring the heterogeneity in longitudinal medical expenses among older people and its predictors and its associations with health outcome. The results of this research provide background information in establishing public health policy for older people.
