  • The aim of this study is to distinguish children with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from the norm group by identifying their Intelligence with Korean Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fourth Edition (K-WISC-IV) profile analysis. The article were administered to 90 children with high-functioning ASD (6-16) years and has surveyed the average of the Full scale IQ, index scores, and subtest scores of K-WISC-IV. Also, this study has conducted a single-subject T-test in order to verify whether Full scale IQ, index scores, subtest scores are different from those of the norm group. The results show that children with high-functioning ASD achieved significantly lower scores on Processing Speed Index, compared to the norm group. Furthermore, their scores in Comprehension, Picture Concept, Picture completion, Coding, and Symbol Search were significantly lower than those of the norm group. It is likely that what have turned out to be the cognitive weaknesses of high-functioning ASD children by K-WISC-IV analysis, including slow process speed, low social judgement, and difficulty in visual stimuli in everyday life are interrelated to their unique characters.

  • Let(X, $\Im$) be a probabilistic metric space with a t-norm. Common fixed point theorems and convergence theorems generalizing the results of Ćirić, Fisher, Sehgal, Istrătescu-Săcuiu and others are proved for three mappings P,S,T on X satisfying $F_{Pu, Pv}(qx){\geq}min\left{F_{Su,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Su}(x),F_{Pv,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Tv}(2x),F_{Pv,Su}(2x)\right}$ for every $u, v {\in}X$, all x>0 and some $q{\in}(0, 1)$. One of the main results is extended to uniform spaces. Mathematics Subject Classification (1980): 54H25.

  • As information systems are introduced in organizations, user attitudes toward IS are crucial factors for the success of such systems. Hence, understanding what affects user attitudes should be a major concern in MIS research. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of social influence on IS adoption. Social influence construct is stretched to include four items: subject norm, image, visibility, and voluntariness. Also, this paper examines the roles of two moderators regarding social influence: user characteristics and IT maturity. We could find that 1) social influence has a significant impact on perceived usefulness(PU), perceived ease of use(PEU), and intention, 2) the social influence on PU is more noticeable for knowledge worker than for undergraduate student, and 3) social influence on knowledge worker's PU is stronger for emerging IT(e.g., wireless internet services) than for mature IT(e.g., spreadsheet software).

  • This paper presents the results of the robust H(sub)$\infty$ FIR filtering for a class of nonlinear continuous time-varying systems subject to real norm-bounded parameter uncertainty and know Lipschitz nonlinearity under sampled measurements. We address the problem of designing filters, using sampled measurements, which guarantee a prescribed H(sub)$\infty$ performance in continuous time-varying context, irrespective of the parameter uncertainty and unknown initial states. The infinite horizon causal H(sub)$\infty$FIR filter are investigated using the finite moving horizon in terms of two Riccati equations with finite discrete jumps.

  • This paper presents a system identification (SI) scheme in time domain using measured acceleration data. The error function is defined as the time integral of the least squared errors between the measured acceleration and the calculated acceleration by a mathematical model. Damping parameters as well as stiffness properties of a structure are considered as system parameters. The structural damping is modeled by the Rayleigh damping. A new regularization function defined by the L1-norm of the first derivative of system parameters with respect to time is proposed to alleviate the ill-posed characteristics of inverse problems and to accommodate discontinuities of system parameters in time. The time window concept is proposed to trace variation of system parameters in time. Numerical simulation study is performed through a two-span continuous truss subject to ground motion.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting intention to use blog. For this end, the individual characteristics(Subject Norm, Perceived Enjoyment, and Self-Efficacy) and the variables used in TAM(Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Usefulness) were used to explain the research model. The suggested research model has been empirically tested with the questionaries. The result of research shows that the individual characteristics such as 'Perceived Enjoyment' and 'Self-Efficacy' and the variables of TAM have significant impact on users' intention using blog.

  • In this paper, intervalwise receding horizon controls (IRHCs) are proposed for linear time systems subject to $H_2$ and $H_{\infty}$ problems. Uniform stability conditions are provided for those systems. Under given conditions stability is proved without using an adjoint system. It is also shown that under proposed stability conditions for $H_{\infty}$ problem, $H_{\infty}$-norm bound is satisfied. The results in this paper arc also applicable to periodic systems which belong to the class of time systems.

  • For a finite group G, #Cent(G) denotes the number of cen-tralizers of its clements. A group G is called n-centralizer if #Cent( G) = n. and primitive n-centralizer if #Cent(G) = #Cent(${\frac}{G}{Z(G)$) = n. In this paper we compute the number of distinct centralizers of some finite groups and investigate the structure of finite groups with Qxactly SLX distinct centralizers. We prove that if G is a 6-centralizer group then ${\frac}{G}{Z(G)$${\cong}D_8$,$A_4$, $Z_2{\times}Z_2{\times}Z_2$ or $Z_2{\times}Z_2{\times}Z_2{\times}Z_2$.

  • The Maritime Traffic Safety Law of P. R. China has not the legal nature of navigation rule which regulates the vessel traffic directly but has the legal nature of management to ensure the safety and good order of the whale marine traffic. For that reason, the legal status of this Law is a general basic norm for the marine safety regulations rather than a definite enforcement regulation. This Law does not have any clear statements on adaptation of the steering and sailing rules of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, but it can be presumed the Convention would be applied on the viewpoint of the international practice. The subject matter of this Law is easily understandable, because the IMO and shipping countries have already made similar legislation. Since the maritime traffic condition of the P. R. China also has a direct effect upon the Korean coastal waters, it is essential to observe closely the process of enforcement and development of the P. R. China's Maritime Traffic Safety Law.

  • A pointwise PD-optimal control method is proposed for the continuous path control of robot manipulators with bounded inputs. The controller employs the desired acceleration plus PD (proportional and derivative) actions in the Cartesian space. The gain parameters of the controller are adjusted so that the Euclidean norm of the deviation between the actual and desired accelerations is minimized subject to the constraints of bounded input torques and the system guarantees negative feedback. To show the Validities of the proposed mithods, computer simulations are performed for a SCARA type robot.
