지구과학 창의성 검사지 개발 (A Development of the Test of Creativity Level for Earth Science Field)

  • In the present study I developed the test for earth scientific creativity level and verified means to measure scientific creativity. I developed 22 test items and after being examined by science education specialist, 11 items were finally established, and these were applied to 104 middle students. Each answer paper was graded according to the standard answer that I developed and the results of analysis are as follows. First, to verify the validity of measuring means I figured out content validity. The content validity about test items and adequacy of evaluation goal was examined by 1 science education specialist and 3 middle school science teachers, 6 education graduate students. As a result of validity verification, the content validity was 82.7% and it showed that the test of earth scientific creativity was valid for evaluation goal and sub-factors of creativity. Second, to verify reliability of measuring means, I analyzed internal consistency of the test sheet of earth scientific creativity after finding correlation coefficient and Cronbach's $\alpha$. Cronbach's $\alpha$, the internal reliability coefficient, was 0.848. Therefore, it was verified that this test sheet of earth scientific creativity is reliable to measure the creativity of the middle school students. The correlation between sub-factors of creativity was statistically significant, and for the relation between the variables related to creativity, the originality was the most significant. This shows that in the procedure of scientific creativity and studying science, originality should be the most important factor.

부모(父母)-자녀관계(子女關係) 및 출생순위(出生順位)와 창의성간(創意性間)의 상관관계(相關關係) 연구(硏究) (The Study of Correlation between Parent-Child Relationship, Birth Order, and Creavity)

  • I. OBJECTIVES The aim of this study lies in examining following items: 1. Difference in creativity between boys and girls 2. Inter correlation of the sub-variables of creativity 3. Correlation between parent-child relationship and creativity 4. The relationship between creativity and number of siblings 5. Creativity and birth-order II. METHODS & PROCED URES 1. Instruments: Standardized Creativity Test and Parent-Child Relationship Test for children 2. Objects: 118 boys and 97 girls enrolled in primary schools in Seoul who were selected by random sampling 3. Procedure: (1) The data of the boy group and the girl group were analized by means of M,t, SD. (2)The relationships between creativity and the number of siblings as well as the relationship between creativity and birth order were analyzed by M. (3) Inter-correlations among the sub-factors of creativity were obtained in boys and girls. (4) Complex-correlations between creativity and parent child relationship were produced. III. RESULTS 1. There were no significant differences between boy and girl in creativity. 2. Inter correlation among the sub-factors of creativity Boy: The highest scores were obtained in fluidity, and adaptability, the lowest in originality and openness. Girl: The highest score were obtained in world scribbling and fluidity, the comparatively low were in originality and a match-problem. 3. Inter-correlation between creativity and parent-child relationship a. Father-son: The positive refusal type has the most significant relation and conflict type, discrepancy type, negative type in turn have significant inter-coorelations. b. Mother-son: Discrepancy type, conflict type, positive refusal type have high correlations, while negative refusal type, anticipation type, and anxiety show significance in 5% level. c. Father-daughter: Positive refusal type shows correlation of 5% level significance, while indulgence type shows negative correlation in 1% level significance. d. Mother-daughter: Discrepancy type shows 5% level significance, while indulgence type shows negative correlation in 1% level. 4. Concerning the number of siblings, it was found that, boys and girls alike, those grown among 3 or 5 showed most creativity. 5. Concerning the birth order, it was found that, boys and girls alike, the first child showed the most creativity, and the youngest showed the next to the most, while the middle showed the least creativity.

공과 대학생의 창의성 과목 수강 경험과 학년에 따른 창의성의 차이 (Differences of Creativity in Engineering Students by Grade and Experiences of Taking Courses)

  • This study was carried out to investigate how grade level and experiences when taking courses affect the creativity of engineering students in a Korean college. The sample group consisted of 372 engineering students of which 49.5% were first graders, 15.6% second graders, 22.6% third graders, and 12.4% fourth graders. They conducted self-report measures on a domain-general and domain-specific view of creativity. The engineering creativity test, developed by Kang and Yune (2015), is based on the domain-specific view of creativity and consists of four sub-factors: creative attitude, knowledge research, interest in engineering, and team work ability. The domain-general creativity test consists of three sub-factors. Analysis of the results led to the following conclusions: First, we found significant differences in engineering creativity between students depending on experiences in taking courses and tests; and, second, we discovered significant differences in integrative creativity among students depending on experiences in taking courses and tests, and/or grade level. These conclusions suggest that we should develop and apply appropriate strategies to enhance creativity in engineering education.

광고 만들기 활동이 유아의 언어능력 및 창의성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Advertisement-Making Activities on Young Children's Language Ability and Creativity)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of advertisement-making activities on young children's language ability and creativity. The subjects of this study were 47 five-years-old children from child care center located in Gwangju City. The collected data were analyzed by idependent t-test using SPSS Program.The results of this study were as follows; First, experimental group which conducted the advertisement-making activities showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of language abilities, common sense, comprehension, vocabulary ability, commonness than comparative group. Second, experimental group which conducted the advertisement-making activities showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of creativity, fluency, uniqueness, elaboration than comparative group. It means that the advertisement-making activities improve young children's language ability and creativity.

공과대학생의 일상적 창의성과 창의성 교육의 방향 (Engineering Students' Everyday Creativity and Directions of Creativity Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore characteristics of engineering students' everyday creativity compared with those of undergraduate students. For this, we investigated whether there were differences in undergraduates' everyday creativity according to majors, gender and grade. Everyday creativity can be defined as thinking and activities producing useful and suitable personal products, and to solve problems in a new and unique ways. Thus everyday creativity is reported to be universal ability creative people can express in their everyday life. Eight hundred and fifty seven students from three universities in three Korean regions responded to Everyday Creativity Scale. Our findings show that firstly, there were significant differences in undergraduates' everyday creativity by majors and gender. Whereas there were no differences in the same survey by grade. Engineering students obtained significantly lower score of everyday creativity as well as its sub-scales. Also, there were significant differences in everyday creativity's sub-factors by gender. Based on these findings, practical implications for creativity education are discussed with particular attention to learner's individual variables.

문제 만들기를 적용한 문제해결수업이 수학적 창의성에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Problem-solving Lessons with Problem-posing on Mathematical Creativity)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how students' mathematical creativity changes through problem-solving instruction using problem-posing for elementary school students and to explore instructional methods to improve students' mathematical creativity in school curriculum. In this study, nonequivalent control group design was adopted, and the followings are main results. First, problem-solving lessons with problem-posing had a significant effect on students' mathematical creativity, and all three factors of mathematical creativity(fluency, flexibility, originality) were also significant. Second, the lessons showed meaningful results for all upper, middle, and lower groups of pupils according to the level of mathematical creativity. When analyzing the effects of sub-factors of mathematical creativity, there was no significant effect on fluency in the upper and middle groups. Based on the results, we suggest followings: First, there is a need for a systematic guidance plan that combines problem-solving and problem-posing, Second, a long-term lesson plan to help students cultivate novel mathematical problem-solving ability through insights. Third, research on teaching and learning methods that can improve mathematical creativity even for students with relatively high mathematical creativity is necessary. Lastly, various student-centered activities in math classes are important to enhance creativity.

직관적 및 체계적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성 향상에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Intuitive Free Association and Systematic Free Association on the Creativity of High School Students Group in the Conceptual Design Process)

  • 본 연구는 직관적 자유연상기법과 체계적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 것으로서, 첫 번째는 직관적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 구명하는 것이고 두 번째는 체계적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 구명하는 것이며 세 번째는 직관적 자유연상기법과 체계적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성에 미치는 효과의 차이를 비교하여 창의성 증진에 각 기법이 미치는 효과의 차이를 통계적으로 비교 구명하는 것이다. 실험설계는 이질통제집단 사전 사후검사 설계로서 인천광역시의 OO고등학교 1학년 6개 학급 172명을 대상으로 실험집단A, 실험집단B를 구성하였다. 이 연구에 사용된 '개념설계 문제' 와 '창의성 표현 검사지 A', '창의성 표현 검사지 B', 그리고 '창의성 평가 척도' 는 다양한 문헌과 전문가의 타당성을 거쳐 연구자가 개발한 것으로 평가자간 상관계수를 통하여 신뢰성을 확보하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직관적 자유연상기법이 고등학생 집단의 '창의성'과 하위요인인 '독창성', '유용성', '정교성', '유창성'을 증진시키는 매우 효과적인 기법임을 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째, 체계적 자유연상기법이 고등학생 집단의 '창의성'과 하위요인인 '독창성', '유용성', '정교성', '유창성'을 증진시키는 매우 효과적인 기법임을 확인 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 고등학생 집단의 개념설계에 있어서 창의성의 하위요인인 '유용성'의 증진에 있어서는 체계적 자유연상기법이 직관적 자유연상기법보다 더 효과적인 기법임이 증명되었다.

내·외동기, 자기효능감, 창의성의 관계 (Relationships among Intrinsic-Extrinsic Motivation, Self-Efficacy, and Creativity)

  • Tests of intrinsic-extrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and creativity were administered to 75 college students. Results were analyzed by Pearson's correlation, partial correlation and Barron and Kenny's(1986) model. The main results were that (1) creativity was positively correlated with intrinsic motivation and negatively correlated with extrinsic motivation. (2) Self-efficacy played an important mediating role in the relationship between extrinsic motivation and creativity, but not in the relationship between intrinsic motivation and creativity, suggesting that extrinsic motivation negatively affects creativity because it lowers self-efficacy, which is intimately related with creativity. (3) The negative effect of extrinsic motivation on creativity was explained by such sub-factors of self-efficacy as self-confidence and preference for difficult tasks, but not by self-regulatory efficacy.

만화학습에 있어서 창의성개발과 감성지능의 관계에 관한 연구 (A study on Connection between Creativity Development and Emotional Quotient in Cartoon Learning)

  • 본 연구는 만화표현학습에서의 '창의성'과 '감성지능'에 대한 문헌정리와 상관분석을 통해 두 영역의 요소에 대한 관계성을 보여주고자 한다. 학습자인 초등학생의 만화표현을 통하여 자기감성지능평가와 전문가의 창의성 평가에 대한 각각의 하위요인별로 분석이 이루어졌다. 선행연구자료 조사에서 창의성과 감성지능은 관계성이 있으며 창의성이 높으면 감성지능도 높다고 말할 수 있는 일반적인 사고가 있었다. 그러나 본 연구의 상관분석결과 만화표현학습에 있어서 창의성 평가와 감성지능은 관계는 있지만 모든 요소가 다 관계가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 창의성평가에 대한 상 하위 그룹 학습자들의 감성지능평가 결과 각 그룹에 대한 감성지능요소는 차이가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 감성지능과 창의성 요소는 각 분야에 맞는 감성지능개발방법을 찾는 것이 창의성을 높이는 방법이라고 말할 수 있다. 따라서 만화표현학습을 통한 창의성 개발을 위해서는 관계성이 있는 감성지능 요소 추출에 대한 체계적인 연구방향을 이루어나가야 할 것이다.

지역창조화 요인이 지역 성장에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Regional Creativity Factors on Regional Growths)

  • 본 연구는 선행연구로부터 지역창조화 요인을 측정할 수 있는 지표를 개발하고, 우리나라 15개 시 도의 2008년부터 2012년까지 5년간의 지역창조화 균형패널자료를 구축하여 패널회귀분석법을 통해 지역창조화와 지역성장과의 관계를 실증분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 지역창조화 요인 중 기초자산 부문의 창조인력과 무형자산 영역, 경제주체 부문의 창조기업 영역, 지역공간 부문의 창조적 지역환경 영역, 핵심산업 부문의 융합산업과 창조산업은 GRDP(Gross Regional Domestic Product, 지역내총생산)와 의미있는 정(+)의 영향관계가 나타났다. 반면, 조직화 부문은 하위영역 모두 통계적으로 GRDP와 유의미한 영향관계를 확인할 수 없었다. 둘째, 지역창조화 요인 중 기초자산 부문의 창조인력과 조직화 부문의 창업과 기업가 정신 영역, 경제주체 부문의 창조기업 영역, 지역공간 부문, 핵심산업 부문의 융합산업 영역은 고용율과 의미있는 정(+)의 영향관계가 나타났다. 반면, 기초자산 부문의 유형 무형 창조자산 영역, 조직화 부문의 융합경영과 융합행정, 경제주체 부문의 대 중견 중소기업과 중앙정부 및 지자체 영역, 핵심산업 부문의 창조산업 영역은 고용율과 유의미한 영향관계를 확인할 수 없었다. 본 연구의 결과는 지역창조화를 위한 현황을 진단하고, 추진과정과 장단기성과를 점검하는데 시사점을 제공할 것이다. 또한, 중앙정부의 지방자치와 분권강화 정책을 견인할 수 있는 기초수단이 될 것이다.
