A Comparison of Flavor and Taste of the Doenjang Solution by Instrumental Measurements and Sensory Evaluation based on Serving Temperature (기기적 평가와 패널 기반 평가를 이용한 된장 용액의 제시 온도에 따른 맛과 향미 특성 분석 및 비교)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate taste profiles and the correlation of Doenjang soup solution prepared with three different temperatures (5, 25, $45^{\circ}C$) and using an electronic nose (e-nose), electronic tongue (e-tongue), and descriptive analyses by trained panelists. A total of 17sensory attributes were generated from the descriptive analyses for the Doenjang soup solution. There were significant difference among the samples in the cooked soybean flavor, the cooked soybean odor, the soy sauce odor, the sweet odor, the sweet taste, and the sweet aftertaste attributes. The intensities of these sensory attributes tended to increase as the serving temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. There were seven volatile compounds detected by the electronic nose: ethanol, propanal, 2-methylpropanal, ethyl acetate, 3-methylbutanal, and beta-pinene. The intensities of the volatile compounds increased as the temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. On the other hand, the intensities of the basic tastes by the e-tongue decreased as the temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. In conclusion, the e-nose, e-tongue, and descriptive analysis results showed different correlations depending on the temperature of the Doenjang soup solutions.

Comparative Analysis of Children's Clothing Evaluative Criteria According to Groups Divided by Mother's Somatotype & Somatotype Cognition (어머니의 체형과 체형인식에 따른 아동복 구매 시 의복평가기준의 비교 연구)

  • Mothers are a powerful consumer force in the children clothing market, and somatotype plays an crucial role on their evaluation of clothing and decision to purchase. It is therefore essential to identify the roles of mother's somatotype & somatotype cognition in relation to purchasing of children clothing. This study aimed to investigate the effects of mother’s actual somatotype & somatotype cognition on their children’s clothing evaluative criteria. In order to compare the clothing evaluative criteria of the groups and among the groups by mother’s somatotypes at the point of children’s clothing purchases, mother’s actual somatotype & somatotype cognition of their self and their children were adopted as variables. Total usable questionnaires were obtained from 147 middle-aged mothers of students aged between 10 & 13. Results indicated that practical, commodity & symbolic dimensions of children’s clothing evaluative criteria were used differently by each group to decide on purchase of clothing for thin, moderate & heavy children. This study provides important commercial information about mother’s actual somatotype & somatotype cognition related to their children’s clothing evaluative criteria, and as such can be used strategically to the effective communication with consumers.

Second research hypotheses and methodology were discussed Third, current status on product purchase and cognition using electronic commerce was investigated in detail.   • The purpose of this study was to analyze the residents' cognition and behaviors about residents' community space in apartment housing. Since the last year when well-being trend was highly interesting, consumers have showed their concern about not only just interior of houses but also exterior environment of their houses. This movement has evoked consumers' interests in level and sort of residents' community space. Moreover, as the concern about the quality of human life has gone up, how much the quality of human life could get higher has been brought into relief as an absolutely important issue. According to this trend, this study researched residents' satisfaction, the reason of dissatisfaction, requirement, and preference about residents' community space to analyze residents' cognition and behaviors about residents' community space in apartment. Therefore, this study did following; First, it selected research samples which have the value to be researched and outstanding productivity. Second, sample survey was performed to residents with questionnaire and results of the survey were analyzed. The contents of questionnaire included the actual condition, residents' cognition, and behaviors of residents' community space.

The Effect of Consumer Cognition about Golf Wear Brand Sponsorship on Customer Loyalty (골프웨어 브랜드의 스폰서십에 대한 소비자 인식이 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study focuses on influential relationships for consumer's cognition about sponsorship, consumer-brand relationship, brand equity, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. To accomplish it, a questionnaire survey (answered by 600 males and females over the age of 20) was conducted by an Internet Research Company from October $5^{th}$ to $20^{th}$ in 2011. The results of the analysis were: First, consumer's cognition about sponsorship consisted of sponsorship interest, sponsorship importance, sponsor-sponsorship suitability, and sponsorship expectation. Consumer-brand relation consisted of personal attachment, trustful relationships and commitment relationships. Brand equity for golf wear consisted of three factors (brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality). Customer satisfaction and customer loyalty consisted of one factor. Second, the commitment relationship was influenced by sponsor-sponsorship suitability, sponsorship interest, sponsorship importance and sponsorship expectation. However, personal attachment was influenced by only sponsorship interest and sponsorship expectations. The trustful relationship was influenced by all factors of consumer cognition, except sponsorship interest. Customer loyalty was influenced by consumer's cognition about sponsorship, consumer-brand relationship, brand equity and customer satisfaction. The leverage of consumer-brand relationship and consumer's cognition for sponsorship was notably larger than others.

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of VMD image appropriateness in apparel shopping contexts. Two competing models are utilized. The first model is developed from the emotion-cognition theory which explains that environmental cues(i.e., VMD image appropriateness) generate consumers' emotion, and in turn, consumers' behaviors. The second model is developed based on the cognitive theory of emotions and posits that environmental cues stimulates consumers' cognitive perceptions of retail environments, subsequently influencing consumers' emotional and behavioral response. A 2(VMD image appropriateness: high vs. low) between-subjects factorial design experiment was conducted. Female college students(n=592) participated in the experiment. Using structural equation modeling the study found that the emotion-cognition model better explains the effect of VMD image appropriateness on consumers' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses.

Children's Cognition and Inference of the Life Phenomenon about Robotic Dogs (로봇 강아지에 대한 유아의 생명현상 인지 및 추론)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate cognition of life phenomenon on robotic dogs according to properties of robotic dogs amongst aged 3, 4 and 5. 95 Children aged 3 to 5 years participated in this study. Each child was interviewed individually and responded to questions designed to measure his/her cognition of life phenomenon. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in children's cognition of the life phenomenon according to their age. 3 years were more likely to refer the robotic dog as alive, compared to the 5 years. Secondly there was a significant difference in children's inference of the life phenomenon according to properties of robotic dogs. Such as high activeness and responsiveness, preschoolers considered robotic dogs to be alive and have more biological and psychological traits. This result shows the activeness and responsiveness of robotic dogs influences young children's inference of life phenomenon.

  • This research has been conducted to know the effect of advertisement according to consumer's need for cognition in the advertisement which is realized technique of the Internet of Things(IoT). The researchers distributed questionnaires and video advertisement, which is realized by using IoT technologies, to university students in the capital area after simple orientation about IoT advertisement. The result was that people who has high consumer's need for cognition showed more positive attitude to advertisement and it was statistically meaningful. As a result, the research could draw a conclusion that people have different attitude to advertisement that is realized using IoT technologies based on the consumer's need for cognition.

A Study on the Project Based Learning cognitive in the Technical high school (전문계 고등학교에서의 프로젝트 학습 인식에 관한 연구)

  • The Purpose of this research is to investigate how Project Based Learning(PBL) cognitive department and among the learner and instructor in the industrial highschool. Theoretical framework for the study is based on PBL, collaborative learning and module learning. The importance of the PBL has been continuously reviewed by many educational researchers. In addition, it was supported by previous research results. Based on theoretical frameworks and previous researches on the PBL provided design principles and method for learning in the industrial highschool. As a result of this study, we have developed and applied to investigate (1) differences between the types of departments(agriculture, industry, commerce) of cognition on learner's and instructor's task solving process, (2) correlation between the type of groups(learner, instructor) and type of departments(agriculture, industry, commerce) cognition on task solving process. The total of 100 learners and 50 instructors from industrial highschool in the study for the period of sixteen weeks. Based on the type of groups and departments, participants were divided into six groups such as learner and instructor of agriculture, industry, commerce department. The result of the study can be summarized as follows: First, in the study, between the types of departments(agriculture, industry, commerce) of cognition on learner's and instructor's task solving process are differences. Second, correlation between the type of groups(learner, instructor) and type of departments(agriculture, industry, commerce) of cognition on task solving process are differences. Although the differences were insignificant for cognition of PBL's help, however, four items(accomplishment, application subject, hereafter application) showed significant differences in performances. The implication of the result indicated the cognition of PBL in the industrial highschool seem significant for departments and subjects characteristic of learning. In future research it is recommended that PBL model designs should consider components of group and department types.

A study for the relationship between the cognition difference and satisfaction for the medical service and the revisiting (의료서비스의 인식차이와 만족이 재방문에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the dramatic and situational change in medical industry, it has became very important to keep existing patients and to attract new patients by monitoring the medical consumer's expectation and various needs and ensuring the patients' satisfaction. This study regards the patients' satisfaction as the final object of medical service. So the object of this study is to provide useful data for the decision making and medical service marketing by exploring the problems generated by the cognition difference for the medical service between inpatients and outpatients, by responding for the problems and by examining the relationship between the satisfaction with the medical service and revisiting. To achieve the object of this study, literature research and empirical analysis were used. I establish the research model based on the existing service marketing and some hypotheses were chosen for the empirical analysis. As a result of empirical analysis for the five hypotheses, two hypotheses were chosen. First, there was cognition difference about accessibility and convenience between inpatient and outpatient. I guess that the satisfaction degree of inpatient is higher than the outpatient because the inpatient has the reliability for the hospital and determines the hospitalization or emergent coming to hospital. Second, the fifth hypothesis, "the satisfaction of patient will influence the revisiting." was chosen. The hypothesis is not only coincident with existing scholars and studies but also it provides the meaningful points for medical service marketing. The result shows that the parties concerned with hospital management should endeavor for the patient satisfaction in medical service, and that hospital management should be medical consumer centered. To measure the quality of medical service, the cognition differences for accessibility, convenience, physical environment, and human service were evaluated and the result shows that the cognition difference for the accessibility and convenience was outstanding. The analysis shows that there was cognition difference in the four categories among six subcategories in the human service -- the attitude of medical technologist, the attitude of doctor, the length of time for doctor's diagnosis for the patient and doctor's explanation. Therefore, I think that further study is required for the cause analysis for service categories which have cognition difference between inpatient and outpatient. I think the result will be very useful. Through this study, the relationship between patient satisfaction with the medical service and revisiting was verified. And it suggests that, to face the changing medical environment actively and to improve the quality of medical service, marketing strategy should be focused not on medical service providers but on medical service consumers and that the further studies for the medical consumer should be continued.
