  • Due to quantitative growth focused on short-term field placement and excessive competition between universities, the need for long-term field placement model is increasing and participation of government and universities is increasing for effective on-the-job training. In order to solve the problems of shortage of R&D manpower in small and medium sized companies, Kumoh Institute of Technology and three participating universities have been conducting industrial internship as R&D long-term field placement program from 2015. Students undertake long-term on-the-job training in the R & D department for six months to improve their R & D skills and strengthen their work capacity. In this paper, we propose effective ways of stimulating cooperative employment through long-term field placement in R&D departments from pre-preparation stage to ending stage through comparative analysis of cases of industrial internship in 2015 and 2016.

  • This study is about a life history. Through investigating the life of retired teachers in preschool, elementary, and middle schools, authors wanted to explore the meaning of retirement and the process of adaptation to find out their personal and social needs in post-retirement life. Studies have shown that their experiences at childhood have greatly influenced the performance of one's profession, such as contributing to setting limits on behaviors of their students. In the period of interdependence, they have contributed to serving society and the nation beyond as a professional, and in the second half of his teaching career, they have learned that their painful experience was a resource and have realized that changing mind can make the world changed. Since teachers' behavior affects on many subjects unlike other jobs, rewards or satisfaction from the job was bigger than any other jobs. However, after retirement, they felt a sense of emptiness in life without any sense of belonging or accomplishment, while feeling happiness and infinite freedom in other hand. Thy still go forward for life challenging to new study.

The subjects of this study were 336 nursing freshmen at a university located in w city. The data was collected from 11st to 21st, May 2020. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, Person's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, the interpersonal skills of the subjects showed a positive correlation with self-esteem and communication skills, and it was found that there was a positive correlation between self-esteem and communication skills. The interpersonal sub-factors affecting communication skills were communication, understanding, openness, sensitivity, and satisfaction. Therefore, It is necessary to make efforts to improve communication skills of students enrolled in the nursing department in the untact era, and educational interventions and educational interventions that can enhance communication skills by utilizing interpersonal skills and self-esteem are needed.

  • K University of engineering college awarded degrees to workers for major of electrical and electronics in the degree-linked work-study parallel system for the first time in February 2020. In this study, the progressed process to the stage of producing group graduation works for graduates and completing the results in an engineering thesis system were presented. The questionnaire consisting of 39 questions was conducted with the subjects, and the results of the responses were compared and analyzed with the results of full-time students in the same major who graduated in the same year. Statistical analysis was attempted by dividing the five representative response questions by group, but the number of people in each group was less than 30, so the normality test of response results and statistical analysis by parametric methods were limited. However, it was judged that a one-sample t-test was possible. Focusing on this method, it was confirmed that there was a difference of 0.8 points or more between the groups on an average 5-point scale in response items related to the number of changes in the subject of the work, the satisfaction among the members, and the effort to guide the work. And the measures to deal with these differences were suggested.

  • In this paper, a system configuration method that can practice Linux-based programming language online is presented. The proposed system utilizes the web-server function, which is the biggest feature of the Linux operating system, and simulates the telnet and FTP functions without firewalls or other security restrictions, so that it is possible to practice similar to the actual Linux console. To do this, we analyzed the functional elements that a programming tool should have on the web and established an algorithm to implement it. In particular, a method was implemented in which an error message caused by a user's mistake can appear in the same form as the actual telnet screen. As a result of using the implemented learning system in the class for students, it is possible to practice the Linux programming language online, as well as the instructor can directly check and guide all the learners, so the learner's satisfaction is similar to that of the offline class was confirmed.

  • The purpose of the study is to develop a unit catalog system that can be linked with the curriculum. As for the research method, first, unit subject words were extracted through the analysis of middle school curriculum and science textbooks in all grades. Based on this, we designed a unit catalog system that has a unit book catalog by connecting books related to the unit topic of the subject, an index word catalog that organizes unit subject words into index words, and a grade and school level linked subject linked to the unit topic as a subsystem. Using the Notion program, a unit catalog system was implemented on the web using a middle school science unit 1 as a sample. To evaluate the system, experiments and surveys were conducted targeting students, and very positive results were shown in terms of satisfaction with the system and intention to use it in the future. Meanwhile, this study was limited to middle school science departments, but it was proposed to expand the application to all grades and subjects.

  • Objectives : This study reviewed existing studies on clinical examination of Korean medicine to investigate the trends and gaps of existing research on clinical performance examination (CPX) or objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) in Korean medicine education. Methods : We conducted a scoping review according to the five steps suggested by Arksey and O'Malley. Six databases(RISS, OASIS, KMBASE, KISS, ScienceON, and DBpia) were searched and studies published from 2012 to July 15, 2022 were considered. The subjects of the study were limited to domestic studies about OSCE or CPX conducted in Korean medicine education. Results : Among the 25 selected papers, 17 studies implemented OSCE or CPX in practice. Those studies were conducted in 8 clinical departments and 9 of them used standardized patients. All 14 survey studies reported positive answers in satisfaction, efficacy, and self-assessment. OSCE, CPX scoring items were developed by modifying existing tools or developing through expert surveys or through literature review and significant cases. Conclusions : This study is expected to be used as basic data for following studies and promote clinical examination. From now on, the colleges of Korean medicine should proceed research on large-scale students about extended subjects through various research methods to obtain objective results that can be generalized and acquire validity and reliability. In order to promote such research, it is necessary to induce cooperation from institutions related to Korean Medicine and local universities to develop modules, implement, and conduct post-evaluation.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a case of the development and application of a one-time special lecture program that requires the use of computers in frontline elementary and secondary schools. For this purpose, the researcher developed an Arduino-based special lecture program that works as a teaching tool to help with the functions of a student PC with a Raspberry Pi. This special lecture program was applied at three elementary and middle schools near K-University, and then the program was evaluated. The results of this study are as follows. First, the researcher developed a teaching aid for PC functions to be used in special lectures. Second, teaching and learning materials for visiting special lecture education programs using Arduino were developed. Third, in the special lecture, a teaching-learning method was used to guide a small number of students individually. Fourth, the special lecture program resulted in high satisfaction. The results of this study can be a useful reference for teachers who plan one-time special lecture programs requiring computers or for those who want to apply physical computing-related devices in an educational field.

  • This study aims to investigate the essential meaning of college life based on understanding the lived experiences while participating in the extracurricular programs. This study was designed according to Giorgi's phenomenological research method to comprehend and grasp the meaning of the essential experience of each individual. Data collection for this study was conducted by a semi-structured in-depth interview with 6 participants who had engaged in the extracurricular program delivered by the department of Aviation Services. This study suggests that the experiential attributes of engaging in extracurricular classes and the meaning of involving extracurricular activities were derived into four themes each. The finding discovers that the meaning of college life including, 'improve in satisfaction of college life', 'various college life', 'memories of college life', and 'motivation for college life'. The conclusion to be drawn here is that the experience of participating in various extracurricular programs was shown to be a path of transitional process of personal growth. The significance of this study is that it revealed the extracurricular activities added a new meaning to their college life based on the interviewee's lived experience.
