  • The purpose of this thesis is to study recognition and attitude between teachers and students about school environmental education. The data for this study were collected by administering interviews with seven hundred sixty three teachers and one thousand six hundred fifty six students, and make comparison between these teachers and students recognition and attitude for the environmental education by use of research are as follows. The conclusion of this research are as follows. First, In the study of teachers and students recognition and attitudes about environmental education, though they are interested in it, they lack in knowledge and ability to solve real environmental problems. Also, environmental education tends to be dealt with indifferently and formally because of the burden of entrance examination and lack of material concerned. Second, the recognition and attitude of the teacher-student group about the school environmental education have meaningful difference in each region. The suggestions for the improvement of the environmental education based on these conclusions are as follows. First, the more efficient methods and materials of the school environmental education must be developed in order that students may understand the complex property of the environment and at the same time have the ability to improve the environmental quality. Second, the cooperating system of environmental education including the teacher- student- student's parents' should be established in order to develop the recognition and attitudes for the environment. And also for teachers group to get the more professional leadership about environmental education, government' support is needed.

  • The "flipped" or "inverted" classroom, in which students study lecture-type material at home and do their "homework" in the classroom, has been the subject of research, particularly in the area of student achievement. Yet Bishop and Verleger (2013) state the need for an underlying theory to the practice. The purpose of this paper is to explore "multidimensional teaching," the authors' extension of the two-dimensional "flipped" classroom concept in light of Cambourne's (1995) Conditions for Learning. One author's math class for pre-service teachers was taught in two styles, a more traditional lecture format and in the \inverted" format. Students in the "flipped" format achieved at a higher level. Moreover, students' open-ended comments reveal that Cambourne's Conditions for Learning were implicit to the teaching practice. The authors suggest that practitioners of this style of teaching should deliberately develop student-centered practices, such as those mentioned by Cambourne, in order to retain the power that this teaching style currently has.

  • With the availability of real-time student behavioral data, personalization on education is gaining a huge traction. Data collected from massively open online courses (MOOC) has shifted the content delivery method from fixed, static to user-adopted form. Such educational content can be personalized by student's level of achivement. In this paper, we propose a service that automates the content restructuring, based on dynamic profile. With the student behavioral data, the proposed service restructures educational content by changing the order, extending and shrinking the published material. To do this, we record students' behavioral data and content information as a metadata, which will be used to generate dynamic profile.

  • The study uses an innovative management perspective to investigate the environment of higher education institutions to ensure the survival of universities in Cambodia. This has led Cambodian universities to expand their educational offerings to students in Years 2, 3 and 4. The data was collected through a Google Forms survey to facilitate and accelerate data collection. The sample of 500 students come from three higher education institution by employing multi-stage sampling technique of probability and non-probability sampling methods to ensure representation of the research population. The data were analyzed by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) to investigate the impact of these determinants on students' satisfaction and loyalty, via answering 54 questions. The results showed that the three Cambodian universities perform well in terms of satisfactory conditions such as transformative quality and university image. There are four issues to which universities need to pay attention, namely, teaching methods, infrastructure facilities, learning material, and academic environment that are yet to meet the needs of students. This study contributes to the principle of innovative management in the context of Cambodian academic environment. The results help to fathom the depth of enhancing quality and institutional survival.

  • Recently, with the strengthening of environmental regulations, there has been an increasing interest in eco-friendly energy sources, leading to a trend of the increasing scale of Cargo Containment Systems (CCS) for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers. Among these systems, membrane tanks have gained popularity in LNG transport vessels due to their superior spatial utilization and competitiveness. However, due to high initial investment costs and the difficulty in repair in case of damage, a safety layer, the secondary barrier, must be installed without fail. In this study, in order to apply a new secondary barrier to the existing membrane-type LNG CCS, tests were conducted on the fiberglass layer previously used in the Triplex-Flexible Secondary Barrier (FSB), substituting it with basalt fiber. Tensile and vertical tensile tests were performed to assess the newly applied material. Environmental tests were conducted at room temperature (25℃) and extremely low temperatures (-170℃), considering the temperatures to which substances may be exposed during LNG vessel operations. The basalt-FSB produced in this study demonstrated superior results compared to the specifications of the existing product, confirming its potential applicability for implementation.
