This paper focus on the development of object-oriented model bases for Structured Modeling. For the model base organization, object modeling techniques and model typing concept which is similar to data typing concept are used. Structured modeling formalizes the notion of a definitional system as a way of dscribing models. From the object-oriented concept, a structured model can be represented as follows. Each group of similar elements(genus) is represented by a composite class. Other type of genera can be represented in a similar manner. This hierarchical class composition gives rise to an acyclic class-composition graph which corresponds with the genus graph of structured model. Nodes in this graph are instantiated to represent the elemental graph for a specific model. Taking this class composition process one step further, we aggregate the classes into higher-level composite classes which would correspond to the structured modeling notion of a module. Finally, the model itself is then represented by a composite class having attributes each of whose domain is a composite class representing one of the modules. The resulting class-composition graph represent the modular tree of the structured.

Structured modeling provides a formal mathematical framework, language, and computer-based environment for conceiving, representing, and manipulating a wide variety of model. It provides a natural framework for integrated modeling owing to its explicit representation power for computational dependencies among submodles. Nevertheless, it doesn't seem to offer a systematic way of composing a structured model from submodels. In order to develop a systematic way, this paper discusses three key issues : (1) Genus structure for model composition, (2) Storage of structured models, and (3) Integration of structured models. To formalize and visualize the approach, a programming module is developed to implemented the step-by-step integration.

최근의 기업들은 B2B전자상거래 개념하에 상품과서비스를 전자적으로 거래하기 위하여 자신의 기업 영역을 넘어서는 프로세스를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 환경에서, 조직간의 비즈니스 프로세스는 필요하며 파트너간의 공개 프로세스 뿐만 아니라 기업 내의 자체 프로세스도 잘 정의되어야 한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 이 논문은 조직간 비즈니스 프로세스를 나타내는 방법을 제시한다. 우선, B2B 전자상거래를 위한 조직간 워크플로우를 위한 모델링 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 1:1 및 1:N 협업시 공통 프로세스를 공유할 수 있도록 ebXML의 BPSS를 기반으로 제시되었다. 여기서 조직간 워크플로우의 설계 절차를 편리하게 하기 위해 메시지 플로우와 통제 플로우를 분리하였다. 둘째, 구조화된(well-structured) 조직간 워크플로우 프로세스를 설계하기 위하여 구조화된 프로세스 모델링 알고리즘이 제시된다. 이 알고리즘에서는 프로세스가 페트리넷 기반의 프로세스로 변환된다. 이 알고리즘은 하향식 방식으로 구조화된 프로세스 모델을 설계할 수 있도록 기능화된 (well-behaved) 모델링 블록, 기능화된 제어 구조, 비즈니스 트랜젝션을 이용한다.

The explosive growth of the Web is providing end-users access to ever-increasing volumes of information. The resources of legacy systems and relational databases have also been made available to the Web browser, which has become an essential business tool. Recently, model management on the Internet/Web is also proposed with its conceptual design or prototypical system like DecisionNet and DSS Web. However, they are also suffering from the same symptoms as the Web, Although we can identify the elements of a page with HTML tags and (declare) the relationships among the various document elements, they are semantically opaque to computer systems and have no domain-specific meaning. However, HTML is not extensible, so developers are forced to invent convoluted, non-standard solutions for embedding and parsing data. Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simplified subset of SGML that has many benefits for folks who want to improve structure, maintainability, searchability, presentation, and other aspects of their document management. This paper proposes a structured markup language for model representation and management on the Web as an XML application. The language is based on a conceptual modeling framework, Object-Oriented Structured Modeling (OOSM), which is an extension of the structured modeling.

This article discusses the phenomenon of plastic volumetric deformation of naturally structured clays before virgin yielding, i.e., subyielding behavior. A simple approach representing both the compression and shear responses of the clays during subyielding is demonstrated. A new compression model for structured clays based on the theoretical framework of the Structured Cam Clay (SCC) model via incorporation of the subyielding behavior is presented. Two stress surfaces are introduced to distinguish the subyielding and virgin yielding. The hardening and destructuring processes of structured clays under isotropic compression and shear are the focus of this work. The simulations of the compression and shear of eleven natural clays are studied for validation. The proposed work can accurately predict the subyielding behavior of structured clays both qualitatively and quantitatively and can be used for modeling structured clays under compression and shear responses in geological and geotechnical engineering problems.

This study focused on analysis of the satisfaction level of specialty shops for environment-friendly agricultural products (EFAP). To analyze the satisfaction level of EF AP, a series of household surveys were conducted. Questionnaire was prepared on the basis of the SERVQUAL model and the structural equation modeling was made on the basis of the contents surveyed. The main results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, tangibles structured with store clearance, neat uniform, information and others is the factor of service quality satisfaction. Secondly, reliability structured with service practice, problem solving, and service in accurate time is the factor of service quality satisfaction. Thirdly, assurance structured with the reliability of employees, sufficient knowledge of employees, courteous and good manner is the factor of service quality satisfaction. Fourthly, responsiveness structured with prompt service, voluntary help, customer response service and the like is the factor of service quality satisfaction. Fifthly, the sympathy structured in interest for each customer, provision of service in time convenient to use, encountering the customers with genuine feeling are the factors of service quality satisfaction. And sixthly, the service satisfaction factors would influence on the consumer behavior factors.

객체지향 소프트웨어 개발은 그 우수성이 입증됨에도 불구하고 기존 개발 방법론에 익숙해진 개발자들에게는 여전히 사용하기엔 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 위성 관제시스템 개발을 위해 기존의 구조적 분석 기법인 자료흐름도(DFD: Data Diagram)와 그래픽 설계 명세서인 구조 도를 재 사용하여 객체지향 설계 모델 링을 할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 즉, 객체지향 기법에서 가장 어렵게 느껴지는 객체 추출을 기존 적 구조적 그래픽 기법을 이용함으로써 분석 설계를 손쉽게 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.

Nano-structured tungsten carbide compacts with cobalt matrices (WC-Co) offer new opportunities for achieving superior hardness and toughness combinations. A unified modeling and simulation tool has been developed to produce maps of sintering pathways from nanocrystalline WC powder to sintered nano-structured WC-Co compacts. This tool includes (1) die compaction, (2) grain growth, (3) densification, (4) sensitivity analysis, and (5) optimization. All material parameters were obtained by curve fitting based on results with two WC-Co powders. Critical processing parameters are determined based on sensitivity analysis and are optimized to minimize grain size with high density.
